Chapter Text
A second. One single second made the difference between everything. As Gimmi stood before them, their real form revealed, as they said a simple: “Your wish is now reality.” Everything changed.
Luka stared. He stared at the wall. Nothing else to do. No one Nothing else to see. He was alone. His father in prison, his mother dead, his sister either in a psychological facility or gone. So, Luka stared at the wall. His guitar laid forgotten in the corner of the room. The room was silent. Empty. The music was empty. Luka knew his inner music was silent. Gone. Just radio static. His father was Shadow Moth. His mother went into a coma and Juleka was insane. Luka was now alone. He has a faint memory of Penny being imprisoned for being Mayora, or was that his mother? He couldn’t remember.
Everything after his father’s arrest and his confession was either the foggiest or the clearest. The day his father was arrested was foggy. The day his mother died was clear. The day Jagged Stone confessed even clearer. The days after that blurred into each other. The only thing keeping him going was Juleka. His younger twin sister who needed him. They were placed in an orphanage. The leader there looked at them with thinned lips, telling them the rules and showing them the rules. The other kids looked at them in disgust. Who wouldn’t? They were the kids of ‘Shadow Moth’! They were hated and alone.
Luka stared at the wall. Juleka got nightmares. He stared as he hugged her. Juleka screamed during the night. He was there for her, closing his eyes. She kept on ranting about the world not being real, so the orphanage asked for a doctor, who immediately sent her off. He stared at the wall while hugging her. The orphanage called a doctor. He stared at the wall. Juleka was taken away. ‘Insane’, they said. He stared as she screamed, shouting she wasn’t out of her mind. He tried to get himself to say anything, to stop the people from taking his only anchor in life. ‘The trauma’, they said to both of them. For Juleka’s skewed world view and Luka’s muteness.
As Luka was still a minor, he hadn’t been able to go. He was still going to school, but he was quiet, had no friends and could only watch as his sister’s friend watched him from a distance, not knowing what to do. His teachers tried to keep him occupied with homework and school work, but he would rather have his family again. At least his sister who he had until a doctor came and told she was insane and deranged.
The days blurred together, only difference being the food being served at the orphanage.
The days blurred until he saw two wooden boxes on his bed.

Chapter 2: Wait... WHAT?
Chapter Text
A bright light emerged and Luka fell backwards. His hands came to his eyes, making him drop the wooden box. The light dissapeared and he looked to the box again. There was a simple brooch there. But that was not what caught his attention. A flying thing? floated in front of him, an uneasy smile on its face. “W-what are you?” Luka asked the thing, stepping closer. “I am Nooroo, the kwami of Transmission.” Luka blinked. “A kwami… Where have I heard that before?” He mumbled a little, looking at the kwami. “What are you doing here?” Luka asked. “I don’t know, Master. I was lost for a bit, but now I am here.” Luka recoiled back. “Master? What-” He cut himself off. “Nooroo, please don’t call me Master. My name is Luka.”
Nooroo smiled tentatively. “I know, Luka Couffaine. You were once Silencer and Truth, akumatized by Hawk Moth, later Shadow Moth.” Luka took a step back. “How do you?-” He started to ask before Nooroo talked again. “I just told you, I am the kwami of Transmission. My previous master was Shadow Moth.” Luka’s jaw dropped. “What? So you were owned by my father? Guess that’s why I got you, but why didn’t Ladybug and Cat Noir take you?” Nooroo’s eyes widened. “Your father is Gabriel Agreste?” He whispered, like it was a secret. “What? No, my father is Jagged Stone. Wait. Did you say Gabriel Agreste was Shadow Moth?!” Luka whispered back, eyes wide.
“Yes, Luka.” Luka’s hands ruffled his hair, a grin slowly spreading on his face. “But that means we can free him! Show his innocence!” Luka started talking about all they can do, but Nooroo shook his head. “I am sorry, Luka, but you can’t. This world has changed. The world now thinks Shadow Moth was Jagged Stone. The only way to show his innocence is to change the world.”
Luka’s smile fell and he looked down. “So I really have no one.” Nooroo shook his head and flied towards the boy. “You have me, Luka.” Luka looked to the opened wooden box. He took the locket brooch and attached it to his shirt. “Thanks, Nooroo.” He looked to the other box. “What’s this, then?” Luka opened the box, another light showed before another kwami flew around him. “That’s so much better!” She saw Nooroo before slamming into him, hugging him. “Do you remember what happened, Nooroo?” She asked before looking at where the other kwami looked.
“Oh! I apologise, Master. I am Duusu, the kwami of emotion!”
Luka’s eyes widened. “Was your former owner Shadow Moth?” He asked them. “Yes, Master. And before that Mayura.” Duusu seemed to remember as she flew closer to Nooroo. Luka smiled reassuringly at them. “I won’t use you like them. I can’t imagine Shadow Moth really cared for you, am I correct?” Nooroo and Duusu looked at each other before nodding. “And Duusu, please don’t call me ‘master’. My name is Luka. Nice to meet you.” He smiled, though his eyes held a pain only the kwamis could see.
“Nooroo, you said something that the only way for me to get my family back is to change the world. How can I do that?” Nooroo and Duusu exchanged glances.
“The only way to change the world is by making a wish with the kwami of Reality, Gimmi. They are the ladybug and the black cat kwamis unites into one. The only way to make Gimmi appear is with the ladybug and the black cat miraculouses’ kwamis, Tikki and Plagg. Luck and bad luck.”
Luka looked overwhelmed, so Nooroo let him think for a minute before continuing.
“I would advise you not to change too much. There has already been made a wish made, from Shadow Moth’s son, to give him his family back. This made someone else lose theirs.” The words were said slowly, as if Nooroo was unsure if he should say it. “That someone… was you, Luka Couffaine.”
Luka’s world shattered. His world changed. His wide eyed stared at the two kwamis.
“There’s a price when a wish is made. If you wish to save someone’s life, another one loses theirs. ‘If you wish for beans to be red, strawberries become green’,” Duusu carefully said. Nooroo continued. The only way to change the world is to make a wish to unwish what Shadow Moth’s son wished for.” Then, Luka caught something.
“Wait. Did you say Shadow Moth’s son? Wasn’t Shadow Moth’s identity Gabriel Agreste?” Nooroo and Duusu exchanged looks again. They could feel the anger and betrayal in their new master.
“So my family — my friends, mylife— is gone… because- because of Adrien Agreste?”
“Well, yes.” The kwami said slowly, unsure on what their master was going to do.
“And you said the only way for me to get my family back is by making a wish?”
“Correct.”
“And the only way to make a wish is with the ladybug and the black cat miraculous?”
“Yes, Luka.”
Luka nodded at the kwamis as he walked towards the two opened boxes on the bed. The butterfly miraculous was a locket brooch he fastened on his jacket. It turned from purple with wings, to a deep blue without. He turned to the peacock miraculous and fastened it right beside it. He would have to hide them under his jacket if he were to actually go out, he though. Even if they were camouflaged, like how the peacock changed colour and gained a few wings, the peacock could be easily recognised by any hero.
Luka straightened himself. “Then I guess we will need to work together, right Nooroo and Duusu?” He asked, a smile on his face. Though this smile was not the one everyone had seen before. This smile grin was vicious.
The kwamis exchanged glances again. Luka had said he would treat them differently than what Shadow Moth did, but he had the same goal. To steal the creation and destruction miraculouses. They were afraid the power would take over his mind, just like their previous master.
“How will you get the miraculouses?” Luka thought for a bit before smiling at them. “You said it was Shadow Moth’s son who wished? That means Shadow Moth must have succeeded.” Nooroo looked grim, thinking of all the akumatized people he had helped to akumatize. He knew it wasn’t his fault, as Shadow Moth had full control over him, but Nooroo felt bad. The miraculouses were supposed to be used for good, not evil. But was it evil to unwish a wish? The ultimate wish changes the universe. What would happen if Luka changed it back?
By the look on his face, he would change it or die trying.
Chapter 3: The New Shadow Moth
Summary:
Ladybug and Chat Noir fights the new villain!
Notes:
Kind of proud of Luka's villain name! (Spent a lot of time researching and trying many variations, but I am glad for the one I chose!)
Disclaimer: Luka is OOC as a villain! (I hope it kinda makes sense, because he is a little traumatised and I know people respond different to trauma, so I hope his response makes sense. (I try to make him Luka-Luka as a civilian.)
(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)
Chapter Text
NEW HAWK MOTH AT LARGE – HOW DID THEY GET THE MIRACULOUS?
NEW HAWK MOTH’S FIRST AMOKIZATION CONFIRMED!
NEW SHADOW MOTH STRIKES AGAIN – Victim saved by Ladybug and Chat Noir.
Marinette looked at the newspaper that was on the table in front of her. Another akumatization. But how could this be? Shadow Moth has been jailed, shockingly Jagged Stone, and now another Hawk Moth has taken over the city, making her still Ladybug, even when her and Chat Noir has hoped to retire after Shadow Moth. It hadn’t even been half a year since he was jailed. Marinette sighed, Tikki flying up to her. “It will be alright Marinette! Remember, you’re Ladybug! You have already beaten Shadow Moth, how can this new one be any harder?” Marinette smiled. “Yeah, you’re right!” Marinette ate her breakfast and ran to her school. She met up with Alya.
“Did you see the akumatization yesterday?” She started before backtracking. “Well, obviously you did, but did you see it?” She asked, her eyes wide, already showing the Ladyblog article of the last akuma victim. “Yeah, it was crazy. Me and Chat barely beat it. Could’ve had help, but I wasn’t able to go and find someone.” Alya nodded sympathetic and they walked into class. Immediately Adrien came up to them and kissed Marinette making Alya roll her eyes. “How long are you going to keep doing all this lovey-dovey stuff? I know for a fact me and Nino weren’t like this even weeks after getting together.” Adrien shrugged and Marinette giggled.
Marinette smiled at her boyfriend and partner. It was almost perfect. Adrien at her side, kissing her every morning without fault, patrolling with him together, being with him almost all the time. It was almost perfect! Nothing was missing from her life. Nothing.
During the day, Marinette and Adrien sat together in class, they ate together at lunch, they hung out after school since Adrien’s schedule had cleared up time for her. They were together until Marinette had to go home or until Adrien had something to do. Marinette sat at her room, finally without Adrien. They were going to patrol later, but she couldn’t stop the feeling in her gut telling her something was happening. Yes, there was a new Shadow Moth, nobody knew their name as they hadn’t showed themselves like the former did at the first akumatization. Marinette, as the guardian, didn’t know what to do with them. She had already tried to ask the victims if they knew who they were of to give any clue, but the only was the masculine voice. That… didn’t give much away. There lived two million people in Paris.
Suddenly a big rumble went through her building. Akuma. Tikki flew in front of her and nodded, an unspoken agreement to transform and deal with whatever akuma it was. As she jumped from her balcony she saw around. Nothing. There was nothing. So what made the- Her thought was cut off when Chat Noir jumped right beside her. “Hello M’Lady,” he said smoothly, kissing her hand. “Oh Chaton.” She said, letting him do it before taking it back and looking around. “Did you feel that big earthquake that was just now? It was an akuma, I’m sure, but it’s not here.” She looked at him, who looked like he had seen an angel. She blushed, but knew it was no time for this.
Ladybug went to ask Chat Noir if they should scout when suddenly a voice came from the Eiffel Tower. They looked at each other before running to it. They got there before the news and civilians, seeing something on the tower, lighting up the afternoon sky. A couple seconds went before a voice called out to the mass below. Nobody could see them as they were hiding.
“I believe you have noticed the akumatization happening during the last month.” A male voice called out. “To stop these, give me Ladybug’s and Chat Noir’s miraculouses and no one else deserves to be hurt.” Ladybug and Chat Noir looked at each other before stepping up. “We will never give our miraculouses to someone who will use them for evil!” Ladybug shouted, Chat Noir nodding and taking her hand. “Not even to a knock off Shadow Moth!” Chat Noir shouted.
The voice tsked so everyone could hear. “That’s too bad. I guess I will have to continue, getting those miraculous is a big goal of mine.” He said, a slight disappointment in his voice. “Who are you? Why are you after the miraculous!” Chat Noir shouted, the voice answered in a slight laugh.
“I would have thought you would know, Chat Noir.” He said the name icy cold. “I would’ve thought you and Ladybug were there when it happened. When the world changed and wronged me.” He laughed a little, sending shivers down Chat Noir’s spine, a feeling forming in his gut.
“Who are you?” Ladybug asked. “Me? I am Adonis Pavo, the new holder of the butterfly and peacock miraculous. Don’t worry, you two. I’m taking good care of Nooroo and Duusu. Better than Shadow Moth.” He spat out the name. “Why do you want our miraculous?!”
Adonis Pavo chuckled. “To make a wish, of course.” Ladybug walked a little nearer. “Do you know of the price of a wish?” She asked, a slight tremor in her voice. She knew this Adonis Pavo was dangerous, just by the mere force of the akumatizations he had made over the last month, plus the amokizations later on. They were brutal, and they often had to call in reinforcements, even if she knew Chat Noir didn’t always like it.
There was a moment of silence before the voice replied in a soft, almost tender voice. “I know the price to be paid. Maybe more than you.” Ladybug froze. What? What did he mean? “I now ask you again, as a second chance, so to say. Give me your miraculouses peacefully, or keep doing this game. You have already gotten a small taste of what I can do. I will akumatize and amokitize the people of Paris until I get your miraculouses, and people will get hurt. You will have to fight me almost every day. And do not underestimate me. I fully know what I am doing, in difference to Shadow Moth. I have actually studied, not just starting with it!” He laughed a bit, sounding pleased with himself. “I await your answers, Ladybug and Chat Noir. If you choose the former, you may come to me on the Eiffel tower, if not, you will have to fight me.”
Ladybug and Chat Noir looked at each other. The people of Paris, the people behind them shouted and murmured and whispered. Ladybug and Chat Noir seemed to come to an agreement before nodding to each other.
‘“We will never give you our miraculouses!”
“Then you have to fight me. Each day, each week. Each fight more brutal than the last.” He whispered, like he didn’t want to do it. The whole of Paris held their breaths, waiting for what Adonis Pavo will do now that the superheroes have answered.
A simple dark purple butterfly flew from the tower. It was like it hypnotised them. Nobody did anything. No screams, no whisperers, no laughs. That was until the butterfly suddenly was right in front of the superhero duo. Ladybug then came to her senses, taking her yo-yo and catching it. She let it release, without the usual ‘Bye bye little butterfly!’.
Suddenly someone jumped from the tower, the cameras zooming in to see the new Shadow Moth, Adonis Pavo. He didn’t look much older than them, Ladybug thought in horror. But, that meant he now had five minutes until he de transformed before them. She looked him over. He held the cane with his right hand, just like Hawk Moth, and the fan in his other hand, opened, just like Mayura. He snatched it close before readying a fighting stance. The peacock and butterfly miraculouses were close together, on his collar, like Shadow Moth. He also wore a tailcoat with peacock feathers at the tails and butterfly wings near the face. His trousers were skintight, like Chat Noir’s, just a deep blue. His mask had butterfly wings, but a peacock feather in between each wing on the side. His hair was purple and blue, with specks of pink in it (from the peacock).
Ladybug and Chat Noir stepped into fighting poses again, helicopters going over them, trying to film the fight that was coming. “I gave you the chance to freely give me your miraculouses.”
“You’re gonna have to take it from us with force, Feathers.” Adonis laughed a little and smirked. “Oh, I will.” He then lunged at them. Chat kicked Adonis’ fan away from Ladybug, who was the one he lunged to. Ladybug then kicked him, but Adonis jumped away. He smirked at them before lunging at them again. They tried to grab each other’s miraculous, but none of them was able. “Why do you even want them? What kind of wish are you-” Chat was kicked in the stomach. “Wanting to wish!” He finished, shouting out Cataclysm and trying to reach the peacock and butterfly merge. Adonis then tried to get Chat while also dodging the hand. Ladybug saw her chance and summoned her “Lucky Charm!” She looked at the Lucky Charm and around her, trying to formulate a plan, but before she did that, Adonis jumped at her, making her drop it. He held her down, holding her hands over her head.
“You didn’t think I’d let you do that? And- oh no. Now you both only have five minutes left!” He whispered to her in a mockingly sad tone before he was pushed away by Chat and rolled onto his back. “Aw! So cute you are together!” He said, watching them in the position he was just in with Ladybug. Chat looked at Ladybug and smiled while she sputtered before they jumped up, in fight modus again. Adonis smirked at them.
“You also have five minutes left!” Ladybug shouted, thinking of the butterfly she released and the sentimonster he must have transformed to make his voice heard. “What makes you think that?” He asked, grinning as he picked up the Lucky Charm while successfully dodging and kicking them both. He then started using the Lucky Charm as a shield. Ladybug tried to stop Chat from destroying it, but when Adonis was being pushed backwards and leaned back, holding the lucky charm up, Chat destroyed it, making Adonis grin with wide eyes. “Oops!” He said, catching Chat’s hand after he tried to punch him. Ladybug’s earrings started to beep. Her eyes widened. Had it already gone so long? And Adonis didn’t look like he needed to recharge. But wasn’t he the same age as them? Had he already recharged the kwamis? Ladybug touched her earring, wanting to know how many minutes she had left. She looked at Chat’s ring while they fought.
He had shouted Cataclysm at almost the same time as her lucky charm. Three minutes left for him, that meant maybe two for her. “Chat!” She shouted, watching as he began to rage-hit the villain. She ran forwards and ducked at a hit. She crouched down and let her leg sweep under him. Adonis fell backwards, smile gone. Ladybug’s yo-yo swerved around him, locking him in place right before Chat jumped on him, holding him down.
“Got you!” Ladybug said, a triumphant smile on her face, looking at an equally pleased Chat Noir. “What makes you say that?” Adonis asked, looking Chat in the eyes before moving to hers. “You have lost. You are at our mercy.” Chat said, still holding the villain down. “We can take your Miraculous right now and the whole of Paris will see who you are, Adonis Pavo.” Ladybug said, eyes glaring.
“I think I’m not alone in that statement,” he chuckled before looking at Ladybug’s earrings. Two dot. Chat Noir looked over, seeing his partner’s earring begin to beep and her eyes widened. “Will you take me, and face the people of Paris and the cameras with your real face, or let me go for now and keep your identity? What if I have a trick up my sleeves?” He asked, laughing. Just then, Chat’s miraculous began to beep too. Adonis Pavo just laughed harder. He snapped his finger, making both of the superheroes look around, eyes wide. Ladybug took her yo-yo back, making Adonis’ arms free. He quickly pushed Chat Noir away and rolled on his back, jumping up and opened his fan. “I’m waiting!” He said, ready to create a sentimonster. Ladybug and Chat Noir glanced at each other. “This is not over!” Chat said, taking Ladybug’s hand. They started to run away, leaving behind a grinning Adonis Pavo, leaning on his cane and holding his fan.
The people surrounding them looked in fear. “Oh, don’t worry, Paris! I haven’t forgotten about you!” Adonis said, looking towards the cameras he knew were filming him.
“This isn’t the last you’ll see of me.”
Notes:
So, Adonis Pavo is the name I chose for Luka. It's either this or Pavo Adonis. Which is better?
The reasoning behind it are:
Adonis is from the butterfly Adonis Blue, chosen for being a butterfly and the colour. (And in Greek mythology it was a deity who symbolised nature's rebirth.)
Pavo is the name of one of the peacocks in Asia (think also in China, which is where the Miraculous Box is from), chosen for the peacock part of the name.
So, his villain name is Blue Peacock! :D
Chapter 4: A weird meeting
Summary:
Luka and Marinette meet for the 'first time'.
Notes:
I don't know if I will be able to finish this fic, as my hold on the Miraculous fandom is slipping like a bar of soap. 💀
I will try to write more though, but be aware of another fics in other fandoms coming!
Chapter Text
Luka hid in an alley before saying “Reverse morphosis!” and held out his arms. The two kwamis sat there, still not used to him catching them after de-transforming. He had dared to make a sentimonster with Duusu before recharging her and leaving for the tower. He was glad he managed to at least have the peacock miraculous to use, not having a timer like the other two.
“What do you think, Luka?” Duusu asked, still laying on his hand. “I am glad we finally showed ourself to Paris and the superheroes. It will make the threat seem bigger than if we were just hiding all the time like Shadow Moth.” Duusu nodded in response and Nooroo smiled. It was weird being the kwami of Luka Couffaine. He was referring to Adonis Pavo as the three of them, not just himself. He cared for them, unlike what Shadow Moth did. “Now, I think you two need to recharge. What if I buy you two some food?” He asked, even if he already had chosen to do it. The two kwamis flew to hide in his jacket. Luka walked out of the alleyway and looked around for a food place. He saw a bakery and decided to walk towards it.
Luka opened the door to be met with warm air smelling of pastries. The bell dinged and he walked to the glass display and looked at the different pastries. “Oh! Hello! Can I help you with anything?” Luka turned and saw a girl his age behind the counter, looking like she just walked in from the backroom. He smiled easy. “Yeah, please. Do you have any almond and hibiscus macrons?” The girl hummed a little in thought before answering. “I think we have the almond macrons, but I need to check the back for the others!” Luka smiled at her, “That would be great.” And thanked her when she went in the back. He looked around. He think he have heard of the bakery before, as it was fairly popular. The girl came form the back with a tray of macrons. “Lucky you! We had some freshly baked!” She smiled and started to set some in a bag before remembering something. “Oh. How many would you like?”
“Two of each would be great, also two blueberry.” She nodded and packed it up, found the blueberry and packed them in a box for the blue-haired boy. She went to hand it to him when she almost dropped it. She tried to save them, but dropped them again. Luka quickly saved the box, making her laugh nervously. “Sorry! I’m kinda… clumsy.” She settled for. “It’s fine. How much?”
Luka smiled as she entered the number into the machine, answering him with another nervous laugh. “Here,” he said, holding the money out and waiting for her to take it. “Keep the change.” Luka said with an easy smile, closing her hand for her. He saw her cheeks turn a soft pink and he turned with the macrons, his eyes lingering on her for a moment before walking out of the bakery, not noticing her gape at him.
He came to his home (the houseboat) and went inside, holding his jacket open for the kwamis to come out, opening the box. “Here, I got us all two each.” Nooroo flew straight to the hibiscus macaron while Duusu looked at Luka before flying over to the almond ones. He sat down with the blueberry macarons and smiled at them. “Was today fine for you two?” They nodded and Luka smiled again. After a silent, only broken by Luka’s humming and the chewing of the kwami, Luka felt a negative feeling close to them. He sighed. He looked at Nooroo. “Are you ready, my friend?” Nooroo swallowed the last of his macaron before nodding. “Nooroo, dark wings rise!”
Duusu looked as Luka, now Adonis, walked to where the butterflies flew around. He softly took one of them butterfly into his hand, held over it with his other and used his power. Adonis lifted his hand off the akuma and blew softly at it, making it fly away. “Fly, akuma. And restore some justice in this world!” He said quietly, seeing it fly from his window and towards the person.
It soon found its victim, a girl terrified for their family after today’s show. She tried to run away from the akuma, but it found its way into her earring. “Hello. I am Adonis Pavo. You want power to control your life, I want power to get Ladybugs and Chat Noir’s miraculouses. How about if we made a deal?” The girl tried to hold him off, but she didn’t hold long. He could hold longer, he bet. “Okay, I give you the powers you so desperately want, and you give me the miraculouses? Does that sound fair? I think so. Good luck, Life Changer.”
--
Marinette’s head was still reeling. That boy had asked her for macarons and she almost dropped them, but he took them and he- he- The boy gave her the money and left. That was what happened. So why was her mind still not over him? It was just a customer, a slightly weird one, but a customer nonetheless. Marinette finally got to her room after her parents came back and took over the bakery and she was sitting by her desk. “What got your mind, Marinette?” Tikki asked, flying in front of her face. “I’m just… Thinking.” She said. “About what?”
“That blue haired boy that came in today.” She revealed, mumbling it through her arms that were over her knees. Tikki laughed a little. “Fallen in love again, Marinette?” She laughed, making Marinette groan into her arms. The other kwamis, who were flying around, suddenly came towards her. “What? Have you fallen in love with someone else than Adrien?” One of them asked, the others talking over each other. “No, it’s not like that! I’m in love with Adrien, remember?” They looked at each other and Tikki resigned into herself a little. “Tikki?” The kwami hummed in thought, smiling at Marinette. “What are you thinking about?” Tikki pinched her cheek.
“Nothing. Just… Was the boy cute?” Marinette groaned again. “Can I answer that? I am in a relationship with Adrien Agreste. I can’t be liking other boys!” She hit herself a little on the head. After all this time, pining for Adrien and Chat pining for her, she was glad they finally knew each other’s identities, even if it clashed with the new villain, making it again dangerous for them to know each other’s identities. But, as they already knew and couldn’t do anything against it, they decided to keep the other heroes identities a secret, not opened.
“I think you can think other are cute, but not do anything about it. You can see someone is attractive to you, but you don’t go after them. That’s when the trouble happens.” Tikki said slowly, looking at the other kwamis a little. Sass nodded towards the Miracle Box and Tikki nodded, seeing him talk to the other kwamis. “Marinette. What do you think of Adrien?” Marinette’s eyes became hearts. “Only that he is the most handsome, cute, funny, considerate, loving person I have ever met!” She started gushing more, but it was the same as the last time Tikki asked. “Oh my God! How is it so late?!” Marinette said, looking at the clock. “Good night, Tikki, good night you all!” She threw herself at the bed and screamed goodnight.
Tikki looked at the other kwamis who looked towards where the Miracle Box was located and hidden. They flew into the shelf and looked at each other. “What is it Sass? Why did you want to talk without Marinette?” Kaalki asked, looking at the snake kwami. The kwamis surrounded the snake and Sass looked at Tikki. “I have felt Nooroo and Duusu’s presence.” He said, the s-sound being held a little longer than the rest. The kwamis gasped, except Tikki. “I have to.” She confessed, although they already knew Ladybug and Chat Noir had fought Adonis, but this meant something else. “As in civilian form.” She said. The kwamis murmured a little. “What are we going to do? We can stop the akumatization if we tell the Guardian we have felt their presence with.” One reasoned.
“Yes, we can, but would it help? We don’t know the full extent of the previous wish.” Another one countered.
“I bet the wish’s price fell on him, instead of who previously had it.” A third one sai said, a worry in their voice.
“Shall we say to the Guardian who has Nooroo and Duusu?”
“There is a time and place for everything, and I fear we can’t interfere before the Guardian finds out who Adonis is.” Sass said solemnly. “I’m afraid we can’t do anything. The wish that was cast has changed the world, and this boy has received the price of it.”
The kwamis looked at the ground solemnly. “I hope we can see Nooroo and Duusu soon.” The others nodded, missing their friends and fellow kwami.
