Work Text:
After dealing with Spot and Spider Society, Miles and Gwen reconciled after several heart-to-hearts, in which they confessed their love for each other and became exclusive to one another. Since they were each other’s first real significant other, they didn’t quite know where to go from there.
For weeks, they have done their usual patrols and hangout sessions in each other’s universes, but they have yet to do something “big” together, whether it be exciting dates or other relationship milestones like their first kiss. Gwen was getting nervous that their relationship was starting to plateau. Fortunately, while doing part-time work for Spider Society, she found out about Nueva York’s upcoming Comic-Con, and she decided to invite Miles out after one of their patrols in Earth-1610.
After a relatively uneventful patrol, Miles sat perched at his and Gwen’s usual spot on the Williamsburg Tower, basking in the New York sunset when Gwen approached him from behind.
“So, there’s a Comic-Con in Nueva York in a couple of weeks. Care to join me?” Gwen asked, taking a seat next to Miles. “On a date?” she specified as she tucked her hair behind an ear.
“That sounds fun!” replied Miles, taking a bite from his churro. “But, what’s Comic-Con?”
Gwen furrowed her eyebrows. “Wait, you don’t know about Comic-Con?” Gwen was surprised since her Earth had a Comic-Con, and she went to some with Peter before he died. She had fun when she went, though she didn’t usually dress up. For Miles, though, she was thinking of cosplaying for once.
“Peter B. and my mom from Earth-42 mentioned it to me, but I don’t think that exists here,” he shrugged.
Gwen’s eyes lit up in excitement. “Oh my gosh, it’s so fun! It’s a place where fans from all over come to dress-up and celebrate their favorite shows, comics, and whatever media they like!” She leaned closer to Miles, placing a hand on his thigh. “Now that I know this is your first time, we are going,” she commanded with a stern look on her face.
Miles nodded at her and affirmed. “Sure, it’s a date! Do these things have some dress code or anything?”
“Well, not exactly…” Gwen started.
When Gwen asked him on this Comic-Con date, Miles was ecstatic. He was trying to psyche himself up to ask her on a date since he felt they weren’t progressing as much as he’d like, so he was relieved when she asked first. Even though the Spider Society drama happened only a month or so ago, he didn’t fault Nueva York or its citizens since they weren’t the ones hunting him down. As long as he was with Gwen, he was confident that he’d have fun no matter what, even if he never experienced Comic-Con before. And perhaps, something might happen; who knows?
On the day of the convention, Miles and Gwen exited an interdimensional portal and dropped down into an alleyway near the Javits Convention Center. After putting their masks into their shoulder bags, they extracted out the extra clothing from their bags to put over their Spider uniforms.
Considering there were going to be hundreds of people dressing up in Spider outfits, some of which were derivatives of their own, they decided to add some extra flair to their uniforms. After pulling his clothes from his bag, Miles wore a red hoodie under a black jacket. On the other hand, Gwen put on a pink sweater over an off-the-shoulder sheer fabric white shirt. Since they knew they were going to walk a lot, Miles entered the dimension donning his red and black Jordans, while Gwen wore the turquoise and white chucks she borrowed from Hobie.
“I feel naked in public without my mask,” Miles complained as he and Gwen advanced to the convention.
“Miles, I told you that there’s gonna be like hundreds of Spider cosplayers there,” Gwen reminded him as she brought her hair into a ponytail. “I’m pretty sure most people aren’t gonna assume that you’re one of THE Miles Moraleses in the multiverse.”
Gwen interlaced their hands, squeezing gently. “Take a look,” she said with a slight smile, nodding to the Spider cosplayers across the street from them. There was a blend of different Spider costumes on display, including the traditional Peter Parker outfit, the Symbiote suit, Scarlet Spider, and many other Spider suit variations.
After observing the Spider cosplayers, Miles returned her smile. “Yeah, I guess I should stop worrying.” While they were crossing the street, he tugged on his satchel. “So, what kind of things do they usually sell there?”
“Hmm, they sell fanart, jewelry, dice, and a whole bunch of other things. We’ll just have to look and see,” Gwen replied.
“That sounds cool”, he muttered. “Oh look, Spider-Gwen cosplayers!” Miles yelled as he waved to the aforementioned group of cosplayers ahead of them. They waved back and giggled as they walked past, and he couldn’t help looking back at them as they passed. When Miles turned back at Gwen, he noticed her pouting with a very apparent side-eye.
To calm her down, he got closer to her, whispering in her ear, “Well, no Spider-Woman cosplayer is ever gonna compare to you, Gwen.”
Gwen huffed with a hint of amusement. “Nice save, Morales.”
After a little walking, Gwen sighed. “Though, I must say that I love the view of this place.” She nodded over to a group of Miles Morales cosplayers near the convention center entrance. Miles frowned, but he relented when he saw her turn back with a smirk. “But I admit that the scenery in front of me is way better,” she reassured, looking at Miles up and down.
“Oof, you’re so mean to me, Stacy,” Miles joked.
After getting their badges and convention pamphlets, they decided to explore the convention’s Exhibit Hall. It was an expansive, tall room that connected large, adjacent rooms together. Tables and booths were laid out throughout the hall in a grid-like pattern. Large banners hung from the ceiling that labeled the different aisles, so that convention vendors and attendees didn’t get lost easily. Each booth had at least one person attending, and each displayed different merchandise, like manga, dice, art, and other knick-knacks.
Even though it was somewhat early in the day, the hall was cacophonous and dense with people; hundreds of fans walked around the aisles, looking at the different items that vendors were selling. Others stood to the side, posing and taking pictures with cosplayers.
While standing by the entrance, Gwen was scanning through the convention map in her pamphlet, and Miles was staring wide-eyed into the hall in front of him. He wondered if they would be able to get to every booth.
“So, did you find any panels that sound interesting to you?” Gwen asked.
“Yeah!” Miles put his hands in his jacket pockets, turning to Gwen. “I saw that there was this ‘Intro to Salsa’ panel that looked fun.”
During the year or so as Earth-1610 New York’s one-and-only Spider-Man, he took up salsa classes. He thought it would help him build his confidence, especially with women, but a lot of the time, he couldn’t help but dream about dancing with Gwen. He remembered she danced ballet and how she incorporated it into her web-slinging. He tried to replicate her gracefulness and elegance in his sketches of her, but ever since they reunited, he realized he could never do her justice. So, he thought a great way to impress her was with dance. What a great coincidence that there’s a salsa panel here , he thought.
“Really?” Gwen chuckled, turning to Miles after placing her map into her bag. “You dance?”
Miles casually strolled up to Gwen. “I may have dabbled in it a little.” He put a hand on her shoulder with a smirk. “So, what do you think?”
Gwen blushed and returned his smirk. “My my…” She moved closer to Miles, looking up at him. “Are you trying to impress me?” She put a hand on his chest.
Not backing down, Miles moved closer, so that their faces were inches away. “...Is it working?” he whispered. He didn’t recall ever getting this close to Gwen, as he was able to notice the slight nuances in her ocean blue eyes. Is that a hint of green? he wondered.
“Depends... Will you lead me?” Gwen cooed, looking eagerly at him.
“Perhaps, I will.” Miles said.
“Hmm… Then, maybe it is working,” Gwen hummed. Miles and Gwen started to move their faces close to each other, mouths slightly opening and eyes closing.
However, knocking Miles out of his stupor were his senses screaming at him, with hairs on the back of his neck standing up. He and Gwen quickly opened their eyes and straightened up. “Where is that coming from?” Gwen asked, worried.
He didn’t answer her, but he immediately got into a defensive stance and started to scan for the threat in front of him until he felt a tap on his shoulder. He quickly turned 180 degrees and jumped back, but he found a small, lanky Spider-Man 2099 cosplayer greeting him.
“Oh, I’m sorry for scaring you!" the cosplayer apologized. "I was going to ask if you can please take a picture of me and my group?” requested the cosplayer, offering his phone. Behind him was a group of well over one dozen Spider-Man 2099 cosplayers of various shapes and sizes. Some appeared to be homemade, made with material like leather; others seem to be bought straight from Amazon with more flimsy wear and cloth.
Miles sighed and relaxed his defensive posture. Gwen also relaxed and put a hand on his shoulder and squeezed, looking at him with concern.
“Hey… Are you okay?” she asked.
He breathed slowly and held her hand there for a bit. Then, he returned her a warm smile with a nod. Miles still had nightmares about what happened sometimes. Regardless, he accepted the cosplayer’s request and took the group pose photo for the Miguel O’Hara fans. He found it was difficult for them to make silly faces, so they ended up making whatever poses they could think of. Do people still dab nowadays ? he thought to himself.
Fortunately for the couple, that moment of tension was forgotten as they browsed the many booths. They combed the hall in a snake-like fashion, trying to visit as many booths as possible. They lost track of each other every now and then, but they quickly found each other since no other Spider, in their opinion, was as dripped out as them. Their dyad Spider-sense certainly helped.
For much of their exploring, they found booths selling artwork, usually of characters of different shows, or original characters. Some vendors sold clothing, others sold jewelry, comics, table topic merchandise, etc. Gwen got a time turner necklace from Harry Potter, having been a fan of the series ever since she was a child and having read the series at least 3 times. Every now and then, she’d take the Sorting Hat quiz and found herself either in Gryffindor or in Hufflepuff, depending on how she felt that day. As for Miles, he bought some fancy dice. Gwen recalled that Peter B. invited the two to be players in a Dungeons and Dragons 5e adventure he was planning, though whether it would be a long-running campaign or a one-shot had yet to have been decided.
They also bought fanart of their favorite shows and comics. Gwen bought a piece of fanart consisting of the main characters of She-Ra: Princesses of Power, with Adora and Catra posing triumphantly at the center, with Glimmer and Bow flanking them on either side. With Miles, he paid for a piece of the Flash running alongside Kid Flash.
In one booth, they found buttons with various Spider icons getting sold. Not only did they see the different Spider logos and masks from different versions of Peter Parker, but they also found each other’s masks. Gwen bought a button with her own mask and gave it to Miles, and Miles did the same for her with his own mask.
When it was time for the “Intro to Salsa” panel, Gwen and Miles ventured to a well-lit, wood-floored ballroom with chairs bordering the room. Considering how many people were at the convention, Gwen was surprised to see only about a dozen folks attending this lesson, including her and Miles. At least this makes this session more intimate, she reasoned.
The lesson started off with the couples apart, with the instructors demonstrating the basic hip movements and footwork of each partner. She danced ballet, but she had yet to do any kind of couples’ dancing until Miles asked. Though ballet was a bit different from salsa, amongst other partner dances, she found it was pretty easy to get the fundamentals down. There were basic steps, side-to-side steps, and some turning, but nothing too crazy.
As she learned the steps, she glimpsed briefly at her partner next to her. She saw that Miles easily replicated the basics demonstrated, even adding little flourishes here and there. Looks like he knows what he’s doing , she smiled inwardly. She was curious when Miles said he dabbled in salsa, not knowing that he danced at all. Seeing him show his prowess in front of her made her feel proud of him. She had some hopes on why he decided to take up salsa, but she wanted to hear his reasons herself.
When the panel leaders eventually instructed the partners to dance together, it gave her the excuse to touch him in the salsa frame: she held him on one shoulder and grasped his other hand while she looked up at him. Under the arm with the hand on his shoulder, she felt him place a hand underneath her shoulder blade. She felt slightly hot in the face, not used to his close proximity.
While the instructor was lecturing, Miles asked, “Having fun, yet?”
“Hmm…” she hummed. She glanced at their interlaced hands and rubbed her thumb over the back of Miles’ hand. “I think we’re just getting started, Spider-Boy.”
The music started, and Miles led them with a few basic movements. Seemingly impressed, he commented, “Looks like you learn fast, huh?”
“Well, I do ballet,” she responded as they did a turn. Miles led them for a couple of more minutes until the instructor stopped the music.
Later, after several rounds of learning more advanced steps, Gwen started to get the hang of the dance. When they coupled again, Gwen stated, “Miles, it’s pretty obvious you knew salsa before coming here.”
Miles laughed. “Was it that obvious?”
“It seemed like you already knew the movements, and I saw that you were adding some extra flourishes to whatever they showed up there,” she replied.
“Ah, so you were paying attention to me,” Miles joked.
Caught red-handed, Gwen blushed and squeezed Miles’ hand. “Of course, I did. I love you,” she confessed.
Now, it was Miles’ turn to blush. “I … uh …” he stuttered.
Gwen smirked after easily getting Miles flustered. “Oh look, the music went back on,” she noticed. “Shall we?”
Miles took a moment to focus and danced with Gwen for a couple of more songs. Though salsa wasn’t the most high octane dance, they still got slightly tired after dancing for a while.
During a reprieve, Gwen asked, “So, how long ago have you started learning salsa?”
“About six months ago,” Miles answered. “My mom taught me the basics, and I decided to take lessons after that.”
“Interesting,” she murmured. “And I’m curious, why’d you choose to learn salsa?”
“Well, in case we ever met again, I wanted to impress you since you dance.”
Gwen giggled. “Miles, you don’t need to impress me.” She squeezed his shoulder. “I have and always will think you’re amazing.”
Miles gave her a warm smile. “I know, but I did it anyway because I love you.”
Gwen swore she felt smoke coming out of her ears and smiled widely, though she inwardly gasped. She figured that he learned to dance because of her, but it felt different hearing him boldly confessing why. Even if Miles said that for the millionth time, she would never get used to him saying those words to her.
“Ah, music’s back. Vamos a bailar !” Miles reminded her. Gwen re-focused and nodded her head, and Miles led them through more songs, while inserting more advanced steps into their dances, including more turns and spinning. When they danced, Gwen tuned out the music, just concentrating on her and Miles as if they were the only two people in the universe. She stared into his eyes, swimming through the molten dark chocolate within them.
Suddenly, Miles pulled her close to him, so that their faces were mere spaces from each other. She didn’t remember this step in the lesson, but hey who cares , she thought. Her hand on Miles’ shoulder moved to the back of his neck, and she gripped his other hand ever-so tightly. She took peeks at his lips, desiring to put her mouth on his. She pulled her face closer to his, closing her eyes until she heard the female instructor shout, “Hey! No PDA at this panel!”
Gwen quickly opened her eyes, and she noticed Miles did too, as she separated herself from Miles. “Sorry!” she apologized, face red with embarrassment. She heard the other couples chuckle.
The female instructor sighed. “Oh, young love.” She crossed her arms. “If you want to do that, please do it outside of this lesson.“
Gwen and Miles finished the rest of the lesson without attempting to kiss again, though Gwen admitted she still had a ton of fun learning how to salsa. She will definitely ask Miles to do more of that later on.
After the dance panel and lunch, Gwen and Miles tried to take the pointing meme photos with different Spider-people in one of the convention’s atriums, as is tradition. At first, they tried to take a picture with one other Spider-Man, forming a circle with each pointing to the Spider-person on either side of them. The next moment, however, they included another Spider-person who asked to join, enlarging the circle. Then, the next joined and so and so forth until their circle got so big, it blocked an entire pathway. With an ever-growing size of Spider-people of at least 15, they ended up bunching up into a mosh-pit with each pointing to whoever they wanted. Needless to say, it was confusing to figure out who was taking pictures.
They also took pictures with cosplayers of other fandoms, including those of other Marvel comics, DC, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Arcane. They even found the occasional Jojo cosplayer.
Notably, the cosplayers that caught Gwen’s attention were the Vi and Caitlyn cosplayers of the Arcane Netflix series. These two characters were from different worlds: Caitlyn was an enforcer of Piltover, the city of prosperity and riches; whereas, Vi was an outlaw from Zaun, the crime-ridden undercity below Piltover. Although they were from opposite sides of the law and social stature, they investigated the proliferation of drugs within both cities, clashing with Vi’s corrupted sister, Jinx. Caitlyn and Vi had many moments of them touching each other, flirting, and mutual pining, and they became the most popular pairing in the show.
When Miles and Gwen previously discussed Arcane, Miles mentioned that Vi’s voice was eerily similar to Gwen’s, which she didn’t quite understand until she asked her other friends. She found that if she slightly deepened her voice, she could fool her friends pretty easily.
At this point during the convention, the two had yet to make a couple cosplay photoshoot, but after seeing the CaitVi cosplayers, Gwen had one particular scene in mind to re-enact.
Miles was quite disappointed that he wasn’t able to kiss Gwen today… twice. He was glad Gwen had fun learning salsa and was proud of how easily she was able to get the hang of it. At the dance panel, he attempted a very spur-of-the-moment thing that had almost worked if that panelist wasn’t there. Alas, he could find other opportunities to kiss her, though it may not necessarily be today.
Some time in the afternoon after hours of going through Exhibitor Hall and different panels, Miles and Gwen were sitting on one of the benches inside the convention center, eating some snacks.
“You know, seeing those Arcane cosplayers had me thinking,” said Gwen, gazing into the space in front of them.
“Oh yeah, what about them?” asked Miles, chewing on some almonds.
“You know how Vi and I have similar voices?” a mischievous grin grew on Gwen’s face as she turned to her boyfriend.
“Mmhmm. Yeah, if you made your voice a little deeper, you’d sound exactly like her.”
“I have an idea for some cute couples pics we can take!”
“Oh?” Miles tilted his head in curiosity.
“Remember when Vi pushed Caitlyn to a wall, and Vi slapped the wall right next to Caitlyn’s head?”
“You mean the kabedon? I remember that.” Miles nodded. Miles remembered that he yelped when that scene happened, and that motivated Miles to post CaitVi fanart on his Twitter and Tumblr. Where's she going with this? he wondered.
He rubbed the back of his head. “I would say that picture is more spicy than it is cute.”
Gwen rolled her eyes and waved a hand. “Eh… semantics….” Then, she looked up at him excited, leaned towards him, biting her lip. “But, to get back on topic…” She took a breath. She cupped a hand under Miles’s chin, moving her face slightly closer to his, staring deep into his brown eyes. With a lowered voice and eyes half-lidded, she spoke softly, “What do you say… cupcake?”
Miles stared back into her ocean-blue eyes. “Uh.. I’m uh …. uh…” he stammered.
“Mmhmm.” she smirked. “I’m going to take that as a ‘yes.’” She let go of his chin and took his hand to drag him off to find a suitable place to take their pictures.
The spider duo eventually found themselves in a relatively dark hallway with muted lighting. Coincidentally, a Jinx cosplayer was photographing a Caitlyn and Vi cosplay couple doing exactly the same scene that Gwen was suggesting.
After the CaitVi couple finished their pictures, Gwen tapped on Jinx’s shoulder. “Hey! Would you mind taking a picture of me and my boyfriend doing that scene?” She pointed her thumb over at Miles behind her, as he waved.
“No problem, I don’t mind! Let me just ask my friends to hang around for a bit.” After Jinx spoke with Caitlyn and Vi, Gwen gave Jinx her phone.
The spider couple placed themselves where Caitlyn and Vi posed, with Miles back against the wall, and Gwen standing in front of him, her left arm outstretched onto the wall to the right of his head. She gave him a confident look, and he tried his best to have a shocked face.
Unfortunately, after taking a couple of pictures and looking at her photos, Jinx said, “Hmm, … I don’t know, Spider-Man. I feel like that shocked face isn’t … real enough for me.”
Miles looked confused at Jinx. “What does that mean?”
“I feel like your shocked look isn’t genuine enough. Take a look here.” The duo went to Jinx, and she showed them the photos she took. The two looked at them, analyzing whatever face Miles made. Miles still wasn’t quite sure what was wrong with his face.
Gwen put her hands on her hips. “Yeah… she’s got a point, Miles. You kinda look constipated.”
“Ha!” Miles scoffed. “How do I make my shocked face more real?”
After Miles pondered on how to improve this for a couple of minutes, Gwen eventually pounded a fist into her palm. “Oh! I have an idea!”
“What did you have in mind?” Miles asked.
Gwen placed a finger to her mouth. “Shhh… I’m gonna keep it a surprise!” She whispered something to Jinx, and Jinx nodded. “Oh my…” Jinx giggled. While Miles took notice of Jinx’s reaction, Gwen enthusiastically brought themselves back to the wall where they originally posed.
Miles swallowed. “Oh no… what evil plan have you come up with?” he asked with a hint of concern, as he put himself back into place on the wall.
Gwen sauntered past Miles with an impish grin, hands behind her back. Then, she stopped a couple of feet past him. “Do you know what I like most about you?” Gwen asked, back towards him.
“I guess my charming personality and good looks?” Miles speculated.
Gwen turned back to face him. “No, it’s not that …” She circled him like a vulture until she stood right in front of him. She moved her face closer to Miles’, mouth slightly open, until there was a foot between them. As she peered into his soul hidden beneath his brown eyes, Miles felt his face getting redder, taking quick glances at Gwen’s glossy pink lips. He was pretty sure she caught him doing that when he saw her staring.
In the sultriest, Vi-like voice she could muster, Gwen muttered something that only she and Miles could hear.
“Holy…”, gasped Miles. He opened his eyes wide open, both eyebrows raised high, face flushing bright red, and backed himself more into the wall. Gwen slammed her left hand, arm outstretched, on the wall next to Miles’s head. Gwen’s phone clicked repeatedly, but neither Spider-Woman nor Spider-Man could hear them.
Gwen got slightly closer to his face, cupping his chin with her right hand. With a tilt of her head, “So, Cupcake, do you want to kiss me?” she taunted with a raised eyebrow. She took quick peeks at Miles’ lips.
“Uh …I’m … uh…” he stuttered once again.
“Shh…I’ll take care of you…,” she murmured with half-lidded eyes.
She pulled Miles closer to herself, and their lips met in the middle. I guess strawberry is my favorite flavor now, Miles thought as he lost himself with her. Gwen threw her arms around Miles’ neck, and Miles grabbed Gwen’s waist, as they pressed their bodies and lips against each other. Gwen roughly pushed him into the wall, and both pulled their faces more into each other as they continued kissing, hungry for each other. As Miles began to open his mouth more, he felt Gwen push her tongue into his mouth. Both started to moan, as Gwen put a hand on his cheek.
Unfortunately, their teeth accidentally clinked together, at which they both winced and withdrew, limbs still wrapped around each other. They caught their breath for a moment and chuckled briefly. After gazing at each other for a beat, Miles nodded to Gwen, and he felt himself getting pulled back into her, until Jinx loudly cleared her throat.
“Ahem!” Jinx coughed.
Immediately, Miles and Gwen halted their makeout session and looked sheepishly at Jinx. “Oh gosh. I’m so sorry about that!” Gwen apologized. “I was getting really into it.”
“Heck yeah, you were! You were eating each other’s faces!” yelled the Vi cosplayer, who was covering her red face, eyes peeking through the gaps between her fingers.
Miles rubbed the back of his head. “Yeah, sorry about that…That’s the first time she got me that flustered.” That’s putting it lightly, he thought. He did not expect his first kiss with Gwen to turn into such an intense make-out session, yet here they were.
“Don’t worry, I know exactly how you’re feeling” hollered the Caitlyn cosplayer, as she put her arm around Vi next to her and pulled her close.
“Well, you two are super cute,” gushed Jinx. “I took the liberty of taking more photos than asked, so I hope you like them!” Gwen thanked her as she took back her phone, and the ViCaitJinx trio walked away.
Miles and Gwen noticed that not only had Jinx taken the kabedon pictures, but she also took photos of them as they were moving into the kiss and during it.
Gwen beamed as she perused through her photos, while Miles forced himself to look away, cringing at how utterly shocked and flustered he looked.
“I’ll send you the pics when we get home.” Gwen giggled, “Oh don’t worry, Miles. This will be only just for us~.”
While he was mulling over finally kissing Gwen for a good minute, he felt himself pulled to Gwen via her webs until he got caught in her embrace. “You’re trapped in my web now, mi amor,” she purred, rolling the last "r". She grabbed his cheeks and pulled his face back down to hers, igniting another heated makeout session.
What a day, thought Miles.
After her dance and her first kisses with Miles, Gwen was super proud of herself. That boy is mine, she decided. After how good those makeouts felt, she felt the need to come up with more excuses to kiss him more often, and she's sure that Miles would oblige.
As they were leaving the Convention Center, Gwen asked, “So, what did you think of Comic Con?”
“Next time, I need to bring a towel after how hot it got in there,” Miles chuckled. “But seriously, I had a ton of fun, and I’m glad you brought me here, Gwen.”
“Any ideas on what you want to dress up as next time?” Gwen asked.
“Actually, the Arcane thing gave me an idea as well.”
“Oh, you want us to dress up as Caitlyn and Vi?”
“Well, what if we went as Ekko and Jinx?” Miles suggested.
Gwen pondered that for a bit, and she saw the cute potential of that ship, especially having seen fanart on Instagram. “Okay, deal on the condition that I don’t have to grow my hair that long,” Gwen agreed. She pointed to herself with emphasis, “And you have to do my braids!”
“Deal!”
“Seal it with a kiss?” offered Gwen with puppy-dog eyes.
“The things I do for love…” Miles sighed as he pecked her on the lips with a smile.
What a great day this was , Gwen said to herself.
