I Cannot Die Any Longer

Summary:

"I'm always searching for the deeper meaning in things," Izuku continued, his voice tinged with a mix of longing and introspection. "Maybe it's because I wish there was a real meaning behind every bad thing, or maybe it's because I want to understand better. I don't know. I find myself thinking deeply about everything, constantly questioning and examining. But sometimes, I wonder if that allows me to see more of the world or less of it."

Dr. Daigo remained silent, her presence a steady support for Izuku to express his thoughts.

"My deplorable analysis exhausts me," Izuku confessed, a hint of weariness seeping into his words. "I doubt everything, even my doubt."

______

Izuku and Katsuki struggle with their emotions after the war and having the same therapist assigned by the school makes that a lot more difficult.

Chapter 1: Intro

Chapter Text

Bakugo Katsuki found himself trapped in a void, surrounded by an expanse of nothingness. His body felt weightless, detached from the world around him. In this realm of emptiness, an invisible being, god-like in its essence, materialized before him.

With a voice that resonated deep within Katsuki's core, the being spoke, its words carrying an air of both curiosity and detachment.

"Wasn't that fun?" it inquired, its ethereal presence permeating the void.

Meeting the gaze of the enigmatic entity, Katsuki's expression tightened with a mix of defiance and remorse.
"I'm sorry if I hurt anyone," he confessed, his voice tinged with genuine regret.

Silence hung in the air for a moment before the being responded, its tone calm and impartial. "We made you. We do not concern ourselves with guilt or innocence."

Katsuki's eyes narrowed, his resolve unyielding. "I care," he stated firmly, a solitary tear escaping from his right eye, untouched by any visible wound. "I care if I am guilty."

As the tear descended, its path illuminated by an otherworldly glow, the being seemed to retreat into the shadows, leaving Katsuki alone in the infinite expanse of the void, his resolve solidified by the weight of his own conscience.
