"Go to bed."
"No."
Cerise closes their eyes for a moment, trying to keep their composure. "Go. To. Bed."
"No way." Briar looks like a zombie standing, and yet.
"You can't possibly have something to do while up this late, petals. There aren't any adrenaline-packed experiences available at 3 a.m. Plus, it's not going to do you any good to be tired in the morning."
Briar hums, the way she does when she's about to play some sort of trick. "Fine." She slides into the bed next to Cerise, who's now sporting a raised eyebrow. Expecting this to quickly swing out of their favor. "But you know I can't sleep without background noise. And a new season of The Witcher just came out..."
Cerise sighs deeply. "Fine. We can watch one episode, and then we're going to bed."
"Deal!"
Cerise went to bed after the one agreed upon episode of The Witcher. But Cerise is a very heavy sleeper, and woke up to find Briar passed out next to them, their TV paused near the end of the season.
Cerise sighs, getting up and leaving Briar to sleep, since there's no way they'll be able to wake her up. They have heavy sleeping in common, after all, and they sort of expected this.
Briar would wake up several hours later to meet Cerise's revenge: they watched the entire season without her. But until then, Cerise has a show to savor, and an early morning to enjoy.
