   “He has a tumor…it’s terminal.”
   Kiyoomi flinched away from him as those words branded themselves into his mind. The pain in his chest was back, his lungs were being squeezed and the buzzing was returning. He wasn't expecting to hear this, not after everything he's been through-- that they've been through --especially not from the one person he thought he could trust. Not him.
   "I'm sorry Kiyoomi."
   And he was, but not for the reasons that mattered and it was coming to this realization that Kiyoomi's heart couldn't hold itself together any longer. The dam surrounding it continued to crack, crack, crack, until eventually it burst.
