"I don't believe in consistency"
That was always Hobie's catchphrase. The irony of it was his catchphrase was always constant. In fact, there were a lot of things about hobie that stayed constant. His kindness, his courage, the determination to fight for freedom for all, and his love for you.
He loved waking up to you. You could snore till the heavens shook, but he'll still laugh and kiss you on the head.
He loved you during breakfast, as you made omelette out of the few eggs you two had left in the fridge.
"We should go get groceries soon." You said
"I'll get them. Met a farmer outside town yesterday night, I'll get them there."
"There's a farm already?" You laugh. "Society is healing so fast."
He loved you during lunchtime, where you spent the day inside, away from the hot sun, tinkering with your piano. He had gotten that for you on your first anniversary, knowing how much you loved the piano.
He loved you during dinnertime, when he came home with a handful of vegetables.
"Did some work on the farm, they're still settling in. Might swing around and see if i can get more seeds for them." He said between mouthfuls of the carrot soup you made.
He loved you during the nighttime, when you step out of the shower, hair wet, and in the kuromi pajamas he got for you. You could say he stole it from a target, but who cares? You look adorable in those pajamas. He kisses you again, on the mouth.
Hobie isn't consistent, but he does constantly loves you, in all ways possible. He smiles as you cuddle up on his chest, and the both of you fall asleep together, in each other's embrace.
