*DING!*
As Dani walked out of the elevator, he saw both Antón and Diego looking out the window, looking at a burning and destroyed Esperanza.
Diego turned around and saw Dani, he then moved, trying to block Dani’s line of fire from his father.
“You have killed thousands.” Antón said. “Set my city on fire, destroyed the dream of paradise, all that stands between you and the throne is me and my son.” Dani then signaled Diego with his gun to move away. Diego nodded his head no. “I’m no dictator.” Dani said while pointing the gun at Antón. “Lies, you’re not Clara.” Antón replied. “Yara is burning, and you don’t put out fires with free elections.” Dani kept moving closer while Diego was still in between Dani and his father. “He’s about the same age I was when the guerrillas murdered my father.” Antón said to Dani, he then faced Diego. “I never thought that you would have to face what they put me though, I’m sorry, Diego, you are my lion, everything that I did, I did to make you stronger.” Antón said to Diego. Diego turned to Dani. “You are not going to kill him, he’s going to die anyway!” “Last lesson, mijo, there’s one thing in life that will always be true, do you know what that is?” “Death.” Diego said. “Sí.” Said Antón as he kissed his son’s forehead and hugged him after. “You will protect him, from your friends, from the monsters.” Antón said to Dani. “He’ll be safe, I promise.” Dani replied. Antón took a deep breath. “Go Diego, go with him.” “Papá, I don’t want to lose you!” Yelled Diego. “Go.” After a few minutes, Diego went up to Dani and looked at his papá. Antón looked at his golden engraved pistol. “Don’t look mijo, please don’t look.” “PAPÁ NO!” Diego yelled but it was too late, Antón pointed the gun to himself and-
*BANG!* *THUD!*
Diego was frozen, just looking at his father corpse. “You smell that, that’s the stink of fucking victory!” Yelled Juan in Dani’s earpiece. “JUAN, Diego just fucking witnessed his father kill himself!” “Oh, you’ve got to be kidding me, FORGET THE KID DANI!” “Fuck you! He probably traumatized!” Is he hurt? Said Lucky Mama. “Lucky, no he’s okay.” replied Dani. “Dani, we’re coming up.” Said Paolo. “Oh my god…” Diego said. “It’s okay chamaco.” “You’re gonna be okay.” Lucky Mama, Paolo, Yelena, Espada, and Juan arrive at the top floor and examine the area. Juan would grab one of the Castillo’s rare cigars from a box, Espada grabs Antón’s golden gun, now covered in blood, Yelena accidentally knocks down one of the building models with the barrel of her gun. “I don’t want to be the one to say this but what do we do now?” Said Espada. “Yara needs a leader, until we can hold elections.” replied Paolo. “There’s only one person I trust in this ro-“ You better not say yourself.” Espada said, cutting Yelena off. “Yara’s yours, Dani.” Paolo said while looking at Dani.” “No it’s not, I’m not a politician, Clara was, maybe you are.” The only reason we are standing here is because we didn’t wait for one person to solve all our problems, “When tyranny is law, revolution is order.” “Where are you going?” Asked Yelena. “Yara’s yours, don’t fuck it up.” He looked at Diego. “Come on, let’s go Diego.”
