Work Text:
it was jeremy idea, he thought it would be funny, and he was absolutely right. kevin was yelling at the tv for almost one hour now.
they had a free weekend and the blond made a list of non-exy things they could do. making kevin regret ever opening a history book was on the list, it seems.
"tell me who actually thinks this?! is outrageous!" kevin is paying too much attention while the narrator is talking again about aliens and ancients societies with dramatic music in the background. "ugh, i hate this guy. 'people asked for centuries blah blah blah, why they build it blah blah blah, what's the history behind it blah blah blah' things you can easily get an answer if you open a damn book, but nah! the truth is that the aliens did it!" he exclaimed with his arms raised.
"any egyptologist and historian that participated in such a thing should be ashamed of themselves." jean glanced at jeremy, the former was dumbfounded by kevin reactions, he knew kevin would be annoyed by it, but he didn't predict the striker could be so intense about something besides exy. jean, on the other hand, had witnessed this behaviour a few times and wasn't surprised at all, which didn't make the scene less comic.
"what the fuck?! oh, of course, the sphinx was a device from the aliens to alter the course of history in ancient egypt." kevin groans again frustrated about the show.
"i hate this, and i hate you." kevin says looking to jeremy. the man was pouting, pouting! who can say that they saw kevin fucking day pouting? jeremy, and jean, who was seated in an armchair close to the couch the other two were, and trying not to laugh, were the only ones who could claim such privilege. "you can't be serious, you actually watch this shit?"
"language" jean says seriously, although you could see in his face the amusement the was feeling at the moment.
"is very informative," jeremy says nodding. looking at kevin when he hears the striker gasp.
"wha-what?" the look on kevin face was too much for the other two. they started laughing maniacally. jeremy starts crying and gasping for air while jean is laughing so hard that he bends over and almost falls over from where he is seated. kevin looks in disbelief at the two.
"ha ha, you two are sooo funny". he just keeps looking at the boys until he starts laughing too. this, he thought, it's worth hours of historically inaccurate documentaries.
