Work Text:
Theodore Nott thought he had a bad voice, but Luna knew from hearing it secretly that it wasn’t bad at all.
“Please Theo, meet me in the Room of Requirement and show me your voice?” She asked.
Theo smiled. She had been pushing him to sing for her for months and still had been unsuccessful. Maybe it was time to give in and sing for her to get her off his back.
Tonight he would meet her in the Room of Requirement and bring his guitar with him. He needed to show her exactly how much he loved her.
It was time to write a new song.

“Theo! You came,” Luna exclaimed.
“Of course I did, I promised you that I would show you how bad I was at singing, didn’t I?” He said, pulling a guitar from behind his back.
Luna smiled, she had hoped that one day he would be brave enough to show her. Sitting down she prepared to listen to the song he had written for her.
Theo pulled a seat across from her and set his guitar on his lap.
“Now don’t laugh when you hear this,” Theo said.
It’s about those eyes, those eyes that spark when she’s about to pick a fight.
The spark that shows when we disagree and she knows she’s right.
Her smile, her smile she tries to hide. Cause everyone expects she will smile.
But when no one’s watching it lights up the room. She doesn’t know how gorgeous she truly is.
And the time that I thought I’d locked my heart away to keep it safe and she breaks right through it.
With all of her contradictions that are only fascinating and beautiful to you.
I’m falling hard for a girl and I can’t wait to tell everyone about her.
And about my dreams last night, there was a vision of the future.
I can’t wait to see who she will be when she’s able to find who she truly is. And know everything about her.
About last night in my dreams. She was there and told me she loves me.
When he slowed the strums down to a low tune and then stopped, he looked at Luna to find her crying.
“You hated it that much?” Theo asked.
“No, I loved it, that song was gorgeous, I didn’t know that’s how you truly felt,” Luna said, wiping her tears away on her robes.
“How could you not? Do you not see what I see?” Theo said, “You’re an absolutely beautiful witch who has a heart of gold and I don’t understand how you could lower yourself to be with me but I’m so grateful you did.”
“It wasn’t lowering, I was seeing you for who you truly are. You have such a bad reputation but I know it’s not true,” Luna explained.
Theo smiled and leant forward, kissing her and enjoying the moment. He would have to hide his feelings for her again soon and it was grating on his last nerve. When was the war going to be over?
He wanted to tell everyone about the amazing girl sitting in front of him.
