Joss and Dex entered Charlie's. It was Dex's idea to go there just so Joss could take a break from Kelly's after working there most of the day before.
"I don't know, Dex. Kristina may be working and I am so not in the mood to see her face right now. You don't know what she did yesterday. I almost had Spencer ready to call Trina and move past this stupid "stay away from each other for Portia's sake" thing they're on and what does that cow do? Encourages him to spend time with Esme. Thank god that he didn't listen and called Trina anyway and spent the day with her and Ace at the park and left Esme wherever," Joss ranted.
“So it worked out anyway. Good for them,” Dex nodded. “Look, Charlie’s is a public business and you need a break from Kelly’s. Besides, maybe Kristina’s not working.”
“Pft!” Joss sighed. “Maybe. Let’s go get something to go and then go to your place. I don’t want to take any chances, because I’ll be less than polite.”
“If that’s what you want,” Dex opened the door and motioned for her to enter.
Joss simply rolled her eyes and came to a stop when she saw Kristina behind the counter.
“Oops,” She heard Dex behind her as he came in as well.
“That’s ok. I have something to say anyway,” Joss squared her shoulders and waltzed right up to the counter.
“Joss,” Kristina greeted.
"Hello, Kristina. Since you like to butt into conversations that have nothing to do with you, I thought I should let you know what a good job you did yesterday, encouraging an abuse victim to spend time with his abusive, manipulative ex who is probably faking amnesia and who not only drugged Trina but had posted revenge porn of me and Cam and almost sent poor Trina to prison for it. Not to mention that Trina, whose dad may be paralyzed had really needed time with her BOYFRIEND, who you encouraged to ignore that need to spend time with said abuser/drugger...well your attempts failed. Spencer did go get Ace, but he left the drugger/abuser where she was and spent time with his GIRLFRIEND after all!"
Joss looked around and saw that a few people were sitting at the counter staring in shock at the situation.
“Joss,” Dex gasped, stunned at what she had done, but Joss didn’t care.
She put on a fake pout and a fake wince in a 'did I do that' fashion and smirked. "Sworry. Oh and by the way, I wouldn't run to Daddy about this. Then I would have to tell him how you encouraged Spencer to spend time with said abuser/drugger, who he hates by the way. I don't think Daddy would be too happy with you about that."
Now finished, Joss waltzed out the door, not even bothering to wait for Dex.
“What’s your deal?” was all Dex could say before following his girlfriend out the door.
“Joss! Was that necessary? You did that in front of customers!” Dex scolded.
“I don’t care! She deserved it after that stunt yesterday! Imagine, encouraging someone to ignore their girlfriend’s needs and spend time with an abusive ex, just to stick it to me!”
"Well, you told her."
"Yes, I did. Now let's go get some real food somewhere and head to your place."
"Yes, ma'am," Dex did a salute before opening the passenger car door for Joss before getting into the driver's seat and peeling out of Charlie's driveway.
