   Summary

   Michael Afton is not a rational man. Rational men do not accept a job offer to work the night shift at Freddy Fazbear's Wonderworld after being let go from the previous location, even for $37 an hour. Rational men do not keep secrets from their family that could drive a wedge between them, or at least a bigger wedge than there already is. Rational men do not rope their best friend and her fiance into a wild goose chase to uncover the answers they've been seeking for fifteen years. Rational men do not talk to ghosts, get chummy with androids, and hide strange secrets under their family's noses.

   Michael Afton is not a rational man. But then, nobody in his family was ever very rational, were they?
