A month ago, WIK uploaded his new unreleased song on social media, with no indicator of what this was a lead up to. The only clue fans got is from WIK mentioning someone by the name Porchay.
A month later-
@wikittens._. changed their username @wikanti
Their current bio reads:
WIK is over party
Pronouns: he/him
WIK is not your fairytale prince
The profile picture is that of a still from WIK’s first music video, where he is looking at the camera with a mischievous smile. A monochrome red filter has been added to the shot, making it look as though the image has been drenched in blood. The overall effect is very striking.
There are so far, only three posts on the account as opposed to the previous four hundred and forty six. Each of these have been posted a couple of hours apart
The first is a plain black background. The Instagram account of WIK has been tagged in the photograph.
The caption reads:

It’s probably more than that. I was dreaming of concert arenas and live shows whilst sleeping on toast and ramen for weeks. It wasn’t sustainable.

It’s a multi slide post of 10 slides in total.

I mentioned in the first post about having met and known WIK personally. Of course WIK isn’t his real name and of course he isn’t the picture perfect pop idol. Catch up, besties!
The real WIK is a liar, almost compulsively so, though I suspect he had his reasons. I was just a teenage fan who thought he knew his idol. I loved him and he slightly more than tolerated my presence.
I don’t blame him for it. But I do wish he’d not led me on. I understand that in hindsight, wishing for WIK to look my way is silly. He’s rich enough to change cars as per the day of the week and has enough high end guitars that he can hand out as token gifts. I wish I could take this experience in a positive light.
I still have the guitar. I apologise for playing it. I wish you’d told me the truth.

It is a video of the artist sitting on a balcony of what seems to be a luxurious hotel room. The artist looks fresh faced without any makeup or styling, hair falling in loose strands over his eyes.
He is wearing a coudroy jacket and trousers, a perfect blend of comfort and style. In his arms he’s cradling a guitar -a Franklin OM- softly strumming.
He finally looks up at the camera with red rimmed eyes and gives it a smile. It feels weak compared to his usual picture perfect smile.
“I feel tired tonight,
A word that you can’t forget in a breeze,
Sorry, for not turning back,
Sorry, for this selfish self of mine,”
The opening lines of Sorry by the k-rock band The Rose reverberate a little in the small space they are being recorded in. WIK’s Korean sounds precise and perfect- the kind of too perfect that comes from practice.
“I’m lonely,
A night that I’m the only one who’s lonely,
Perhaps waiting without knowing,
Why have you not called me yet?”
The vocals aren’t very fine tuned and one can hear when the singer pauses to catch his breath or goes off key for a second.
“I’m sorry, really sorry so please don’t boy,
Come back to me again,
Cause without you, there’s no me anymore,”
The change in lyrics is imperceptible if it wasn’t for WIK staring right into the camera as he says “boy” where there was originally a “girl”.
The song ends and for about ten seconds the viewer is left with WIK looking heartbrokenly at his own guitar.

@wikanti goes live less than an hour after @wik uploads his song cover. The live is joined by over five thousand viewers within the first minute.
The live itself is clearly meant to be audio-only, the camera facing a window with the curtains drawn. The viewers are all present for what feels like the culmination of two weeks worth of drama.
The sounds of a guitar being tuned can be heard into finally wikanti speaks up. His voice has that awkward time one hears from people at the cusp of adulthood.
“Er… hi, hello, this is me,” the speaker pauses, “god I really didn’t want things to come to this.”
There are a few empty strums of guitar before he speaks again.
“I’m not looking at the comments so don’t bother with your questions, I’m just hoping I can maybe just get everything out of my system so- cheers!”
There is an audible sound of a drink being poured into a glass followed by a loud gulping noise.
“Ah, better,” wikanti sighs, “now where do I even start?”
“You know why I hate WIK?” His voice rings out, “it’s just all about the- the dishonesty!”
“You said you wanted to get to know me, that was a lie, you said you don’t have any siblings-that was a lie, all the handholding, all the dates, everything was a lie and I was the fool who bought all of it!”
“All I got was an apology and you playing the song we wrote together on social media. So here I am! Here I am, WIK I’m on your playing field! Won’t you save me some face now?”
The speaker gasps for air after that outburst, taking another loud sip of what the viewers can guess is alcohol.
“And all I got from this were more of your fans telling me to kill myself but ha! I’m still here bitchesss,” wikanti begins to laugh, only for his laughter to turn into sobs.
“Sure, I’m dramatic, I’m too immature and maybe I’m delusional too… to think- to think that WIK would ever want someone like m-me,”
“But what about you? What did you gain from this, P’Kim? Did you finally get what you want, huh? P’Kim, did you win?”
The last few words were eclipsed by the sound of a door being opened. A figure can be seen at the edge of the frame, unrecognizable form sits on what can be made out as the edge of the bed the live is being casted from.
“Angel,” a familiar voice begins, “Angel I think it’s enough now,”
WIK sounds like he’s been crying himself, voice nasal. Wikanti- Angel- cries harder, his words unintelligible.
“I- ugh- P’Kim- wha-?”
“Porchay,” WIK- P’Kim- says, “I’m here now, you can stop hurting yourself like this.”
“You’ll disappear,” wikanti- Angel- Porchay argues, “I’ll stop and you’ll go back to pretending I don’t exist, you won’t even talk!”
Kim looks at the camera, for a moment clearly seen by the viewers.
“I’ll talk baby,” he says, eyes not moving, “but not right now,”
WIK leans over the camera, murmuring.
“No, not like thi-“
The live ends abruptly.

The @wikanti account disappears as quickly as it had appeared, not a trace of it left behind except for the fan taken screenshots and the screen recording of the live.
WIK and his management give no explanation about the events but instead announce a hiatus for the singer's activities.

After four months of silence, a music video is uploaded on WIK’s YouTube channel.
WIK & ANGEL: Why don’t you Stay | Official MV
The music video comprises the song WIK had released for Porchay all those months ago, only with two voices singing instead of one. It sounds more uplifting and hopeful than the solo version.
The video itself is of WIK in a garden, being recorded by a handheld camera. The camera person chases him around the area, ducking in and out of the bushes and behind trees. A peachy, soft filter is used giving the illusion of the MV being filmed in the early morning.
There are points when the cameraman’s hands are visible, either tapping WIK’s shoulder or holding his hand.
The video comes to an end when the cameraman stops the recording, only for it to cut to a wide shot of KIM and Angel on a park bench, smiling at each other.
The description of the MV credits a Porchay Pichaya Kittisawat as the co-composer and co-songwriter.
@wik uploads a behind the scenes photo of the MV shoot with a smiling Porchay dabbing product onto WIK’s cheeks with a poofy makeup brush.
