Bucky’s going through Steve’s sketch book. It's as intimate as kissing, Steve thinks. His art is a window into his soul and he thinks Bucky knows it, judging by the fascinated look on his face.
It's too much.
"It's mostly garbage," Steve says, gesturing to his drawings.
Bucky makes a dissaproving noise. "Don't downplay your talents like that. Yourself. You're amazing, Stevie," he says.
Steve shrugs. Bucky frowns.
"Please," Bucky says. He puts down Steve’s sketchbook and touches his face. "You are amazing."
Bucky’s adoration makes Steve feel warm, makes his legs shake a little. It's everything he's ever wanted.
