The Crying Child gets married, Michael stresses over his speech and Gregory is a true child. I, really should've read the tags... The emotional whiplash, the horror...
I was really enjoying it aswell! The angst was and will forever be so very real, I was crying from when the speech started until the end. Michael's speech was truly heartwarming, why would he be so nervous if it was absolutely golden? I really don't understand humble-braggers, sigh.
Jeremy is such a good boyfriend and or husband, please, Michael should try to forgive himself just a bit more, or else I think I'll start crying again. The Jeremike is strong and truly overpowering, Gregory as their son is absolutely perfect and loved.
The last segment with William and Michael probably hit me the hardest. This part genuinely didn't need to be this "philosophical" as Michael (even though he contributed to making it that) but I guess that made it even more hard-hitting, change is scary and as someone who sometimes is unable to accept that concept as well as aging made it feel as a sort of deja vu reading. I don't know, I love this take on the Afton family, the dynamics and everything, even William for once.
Though, everything I've just mentioned doesn't matter in the slightest! I've always hated the dream theories, but I generally was just flabbergasted to realise that the whole occurence was just a hallucination, send-off kinda thing.
Evan is a legend for giving his older brother just but one final happy memory, he did deserve it, didn't he?
I truly have learned my lesson:
1. Fully read all of the tags.
2. Fully read the summary before thinking: "Ah, I could read this safely, no tears involved."If these two things are NOT followed, my fate will have already been sealed.
