Summary
“Hey Belly, do you want anything from the shop?…” he was frozen in her doorway.
He looked her up and down and up again.
Belly felt her body heat up as she stared into his eyes.
“Jeremy, hi, um i’ll just go then. Bye Belly, I’ll call you later” Belly heard Taylor hang up but she still made no effort to move.
“Wow Bells, you look… um” his face flushed a shade of pink before he finally stepped into the room and closed the door.
Something in Belly felt daring in that moment and she couldn’t tell what it was but it made her say something she couldn’t ever imagine her saying to Jeremiah Fisher ever.
“Jere, don’t just stare, use your words, I look hot, don’t I?” it was corny and she kind of hated herself but from his reaction she knew she’d done something right.
