Summary:

Nile hears a loud noise in the middle of the night.

Work Text:

Nile woke when she heard a noise somewhere in the safe house. She sat up and drew her gun.

 

Andy: "Go back to sleep, Nile."

Nile: "Didn't you hear that noise?"

Andy: "Who didn't?"

Nile: "Why are you so calm?"

Andy: "Because I plan to sleep right now because of what follows after that noise."

Nile: "Uhh, what do you mean?"

 

Andy sat up in her bed.

 

Andy: "The noise you heard was Joe. Whenever he feels frisky, he forgets that he has boots on when he pulls down his pants and hits the floor face first."

Nile: "Oh, you mean...."

Andy: "Yeah, and because Joe has been hurt, Nicky will be busy comforting Joe for the next many hours and kissing his ouchies. Their words, not mine. So, ignore them, Nile."

Nile: "How do you ignore them?"

Andy: "With a lot of practice. Night."

 

Andy laid down again and snored a couple of seconds later, while Nile on the other hand, decided to put on her AirPods and watch a movie in an attempt to ignore the noise coming from the other side of the wall.
