Chapter Text

Lowborn Boy

Oh, Seikei the lowborn boy As he is watched In pure solemn

Chochin lanterns are hung They are meant to guide spirits Instead, they lead the lowborn boy Off to fetch the orphaned Genji

He strides through the house lined roads Their shadows sharpened by the moon light The lowborn boy is scared

Even so he must know what will happen with the orphan

Through the dull night he sees Him entering the residence of the same man that caused the orphans displease

The action terrorizes Seikei But he must stay calm The lowborn boy hopes that the orphans want of revenge won’t get in the man’s head For, surely he would be dead.
