“Is there anything you want to ask me now, while I’m awake?”
He doesn’t really expect Childe to commit. Childe doesn’t usually have any interest in following up any of the questions he asks - Zhongli isn’t even sure if he remembers most of them.
“Yeah. How did you know you were gay?” Childe asks, completely casually, as though it’s a completely casual thing to ask someone.

I remember reading Childe's POV and saving this one for later. Not sure if my opinion has changed with time, but I just feel bad for ppor Zhongli. Let the man sleep at least.
