“Bianca? Bianca!” He ran over to hug his sister crying tears of joy as he saw her in his cabin. She hugged him tightly, then her face shifted to something else, a monster. An empousa.
She cackled and pulled his hair, she dragged him and banged his head against the floor as he cried in pain. He could hurt her back but he couldn’t, this was his sister. Or at least looked like her. “Bianca!”
He was sobbing, but felt himself being shaken and soon woken up by Will.
”Nico. It’s not real. Don’t worry. You’re safe.” He made sure not to touch Will in case of scaring him more but Nico hugged him instead crying.
“Darlin, want to talk about it?” He rubbed his back soothingly as Nico cried into his chest on the infirmary bed. He had fell asleep waiting for Will to finish his Night Shift.
“No.”
”I understand.”
Nico sobbed silently as Will comforted him. Soon enough Nico fell back to sleep, as well as Will.
In the morning Nico had a smile on his face.
