“Maybe a stork dropped them,” Corlys said, “Like how storks drop babies? Because they are really young and look like they could be your kids.”
Daemon rolled his eyes, refusing to otherwise acknowledge the statement.
“They aren’t actually siblings, though, are they?” Corlys asked after a minute.“Of course not,” Daemon said with a scoff.
“Thank fuck,” his friend muttered.
Daemon shot him a smile, “They are only half-siblings.”
