(Takes place 1 year after the Finale’s Epilogue)
It was morning in Bonesborough. Luz is now a student at the newest college in town, The University of Wild Magic which her mentor/surrogate mother, Eda was the headmaster of. Just like when she attended Hexside she opted to study every type of magic. She was currently mid-way through her 2nd year at the college and she was both a model student and straight A student. She did miss her mom but she could go through the portal whenever she wanted.
Luz sat up and stretched, "Ahhhhhhhhh, I feel so good, I slept like a baby!" She said to herself.
Before she got up she turned her head to see the purple-haired witch in the bed next to her. After the fight with Belos Luz told her friends and her mother that she died and resurrected, while fused with the power of the Titan themself. When Amity learned that Luz had died albeit temporarily her mind went crazy. The thought of losing Luz or being separated from her again scared Amity so much that she always wanted to be close by her side. This didn't bother Luz though, she always loved to be near her sweet potato. When Luz and her mom were waiting on a portal back to Earth to be created, they both stayed at either The Owl House or Blight Manor. As hesitant as both Alador and Camila were to let them share a room they both trusted the kids to not do anything. When the portal was finished and Luz had to go back home, she and Amity would go back and forth to see each other.
Every time Luz had a day off from her human schooling, the two would be by each other's side, whenever they said goodbye, it took Vee and Emira to pry Luz and Amity from each other in a weird, cute, and comedic way. When Luz moved to the Boiling Isles permanently to begin her College at Eda’s University, the first thing she did was ask Amity to move in with her as her roommate. Amity didn't hesitate to say yes. And two days after Luz’s King-ceañera, she moved in with Luz in her dorm at the University of Wild Magic and they have lived together ever since.
Luz placed a kiss on Amity as she slept, waking her up, "Good morning Amity, my Hermosa."
Amity blinked her eyes and gave Luz a drowsy smile, "Good morning, my Batata."
"Should we get up and start the day?" Luz asked, playing with Amity's hair.
"I guess." Amity replied, "But it's Saturday today and I wanna stay in bed and cuddle you more."
Luz laughed at her half-asleep girlfriend, "I would love to cuddle you too Amity, but we can't just lay in bed all day. You need to go to Blight Industries today and help your dad… who’s probably gonna be my future father soon."
Amity yawns as she gets up and laughs at what Luz said, "Wow. Never thought you wanted to be part of my family this quickly. But to be honest, you became part of my family the moment we fell in love, mi Amore."
Luz chuckles and looks at her beautiful roommate, "You’re just the cutest, my cotton candy-haired goddess."
Amity chuckles as well, "Not as cute as you, my Titan." Amity gave Luz that nickname after she saw Luz's titan form via the memory tweezers.
Luz playfully rolled her eyes at her love, "Ok goofball, you get and get ready, you need some tea?"
"Ugh fine," Amity whined. "But, you’re making it."
"I know," Luz replies with a smirk.
Amity went into the bathroom to get ready, while Luz put a pot of tea on the stove. She adds in some special cinnamon senses to give it a taste of flavor. It didn't take long for either of them to get done, as Amity came out dressed in her usual abomination-styled pants, and dark gray button-up shirt. Luz went to Amity with her cup and tea and gave her a quick kiss on the lips before handing it to her.
Luz gave her the cup, "Here you go Hermosa."
"Thanks, batata," Amity replied, taking the cup from her. "Don't forget we have a double date with Hunter and Willow tomorrow."
"I remember Ami. You know, I still can’t believe those two ended up together." Luz replied back, she still was surprised her brother-figure and best friend fell in love without her knowing.
"I really missed a lot when I heard that both of them are in love with each other… you know, if I wasn’t dealing with my grief and blaming myself for everything Belos did… I could’ve helped set up a date for Hunter and Willow." Luz said with a sad expression on her face.
"Batata, you remembered to visit the therapist right?" Amity asked her beloved full of concern.
"I saw Dr. Waybright before I left for the Isles, Hermosa. No worries." Luz replies and smiles back at Amity. Amity smiles knowing Luz is doing okay and visited her therapist. Luckily, Luz made a new friend in the human world who’s also a therapist.
Suddenly, they heard a knock on their door. Luz answered it and saw it was Emira.
"Hey, Luz!" Emira said hugging Luz.
"Hey Em!" Luz replied returning the Hug.
Emira released the Hug, "Is Mittens ready?"
"I'm ready Em," Amity quickly finished up her cup of tea, "Well I see you later."
Luz grabbed Amity's hands in her own, "I'll miss you my cotton candy-haired goddess."
Amity squeezed Luz's hands, "I'll miss you more my Titan champion!"
Emira smiled and rolled her eyes at the cheesy couple. While she didn't like having to pry them away from each other she did think they were adorable together.
"Alright you two," Emira said separating the two, "We have things today."
"Ok," Amity complained, "I love you, Luz."
"I love you too Amity!" Luz yelled as they walked out the door.
(Later that day)
It was a Saturday so Luz had no classes. So Luz spent the day cleaning up the dorm since neither she nor Amity have the time to clean during the week. Despite how much both Luz and Amity hated being apart they could still function when they weren't together. Emira and Amity land and Amity heads to her dormitory.
Emira waves to Amity, "See you Mittens. Tell Luz to be well."
"Thanks, Em, see ya!" Amity yells back and bids Emira farewell as she takes off back to Blight Manor on her palisman, while Amity runs back to her and Luz’s dormitory.
"Mi Amore! I'm home!" Amity yelled for her girlfriend as she walked through the door of their dorm.
"Sweet potato!" Luz said as she dropped what she was doing and ran into her girlfriend's arms almost knocking her over.
Amity hugged her girlfriend back, "I missed you too, Luz."
"How did it go?" Luz asked.
Amity gave her a thumbs up, "Productive as always."
"That's great," Luz said. "We should get to bed. We have that double date tomorrow with Huntlow."
"Before we go to bed," Amity wrapped her arms around Luz's waist, "Aren't you forgetting something?"
Luz smiled at Amity and wrapped her arms around Amity's neck, "Yes. Yes, I am forgetting something."
Luz and Amity leaned their faces together in a long passionate kiss. Living together was a dream come true for them.
