Summary
The conjunction of worlds is a time of celebration, bringing new peoples, new technologies, new cultures, and new magic to the multiverse. On the eve of this momentous event, the first and final confrontation between the Chosen Hero and the Demon-King leads to disaster. Ultimately, the Chosen Hero finds herself in the new world where the conjunction is going horribly wrong, and where she shall have to struggle to survive alongside her new human friends on an Earth where fuel doesn't burn and fire can no longer exist but batteries mysteriously never die.
