Chapter 1: Second

Chapter Text

In an era of peace in the heaven and underworld pantheon, the gods and goddesses diligently did their respective tasks. Life was calm and serene, and the pantheon was functioning as it should. No significant issues or problems required immediate attention, and each God and goddess was content with their daily activities. Everything ran smoothly, and everyone was getting along and working harmoniously.

It also included one Greek God who walked dejectedly back to his palace, his hands, body, and weapon covered in blood. As Adamas gazed upon the view of his palace in the distance, he could not help but let out a sigh of relief

....relieved to have returned to his own home. Adamas could not help but recall the events of the day and the bloodshed he had spilt, feeling the weight of the violence in his soul.

"Ughh, stupid war…stupid Zeus…. Stupid favour.. can they just accept the treaty in peace??" Adamas groaned to himself as he walked inside the big door of his palace, still exhausted by the day's events.

A collective welcome from his loyal servants echoed throughout the foyer as he entered.

Adamas just hummed in acknowledgement.

"Prepared my bath," a single order came out from his mouth, and the servant scurried away to fulfil their master's order.

Before retreating to his private quarters, Adamas immediately went to his throne room. His entry, complete with bloodstains covering his hands and clothes, shook and startled his servants. Adamas marched to his throne and demanded that his unfinished work be brought to him. As one of his servants came forth, handing him his career, his servant also dared to speak some words.

"Adamas-sama, if I may dare to make such a bold request, it has been a long and arduous expedition," the servant began, addressing their master in a shaky voice. "I would advise my lord to recuperate and rest this time. Your well-being is of the utmost concern to us, my lord."

Unfazed by the servant's worried advice, Adamas ignored the statement, focusing instead on the paper before him.

"Bring the campaign report," Adamas ordered briefly.

"Adamas-sama….." the servant said quietly while sighing. Adamas senses the distress of his servant. He can't help but feel slightly annoyed and grateful for their concern, but…

"You don't need to worry about me," Adamas said without looking up from the report.

"I've been through much worse than this..." Adamas's expression was stoic as he read the campaign report. Inside Adama's head, the sooner he finishes the assignment, the less paperwork he needs to handle.

"My lord, the bath had been drawn," the servant who emerged from the door announced.

"Right about time!" Adamas thought happily.

Delighted, Adamas quickly discards his work and marches toward his private quarters. He almost skipped while walking but halted, remembering where he's at right now.

Before leaving his throne room, he commanded with a serious voice, "I do not want to be disturbed at all and if any problem arises.." Adamas paused, catching his breath. "Informed it to me first thing tomorrow, understand?"

"As your command, My lord," The servant simultaneously replies.

AT THE PRIVATE QUARTERS

Adamas discards his clothes and thoroughly cleans off the blood and dirt on his body. Now Adamas is ready for the most favourite part…

Adamas is now standing in front of his big and steamy hot bath, alone as usual.

This is just a habit for him, as he hates how the servants talk about him during his childhood. He always bathes alone and sometimes with his little brothers when they're kids.

After reminiscing about the past, Adamas swat away the memories and ready to indulge himself into his favourite activity: relaxing in a hot water.

Adamas dipped one of his feet into the warm water and then both of them. Slowly, he descends himself inside the tub. He eases into the steaming bath, sinking further into the water until completely submerged.

He is in pure bliss with the warmth of the water, the steam covering his face, and the silence around him accompanied by the sound of flowing water.

Adamas's muscles relaxed as he leaned back and sighed deeply. The warmth and steam rising around him, filling his lungs and cleansing his body. His worries and anxieties seemed to melt away as he closed his eyes and absorbed the sensation.

It was comforting, like a return to his youth, a reminder of what it felt like to be a child again, free from the burden of responsibility and duty. He allowed himself to savour the moment while lost in thought.

Adamas moves slightly, causing a small ripple around him, looking up and thinking about the event for today.

Having just finished his campaign in the desert.

....the battle was bloody.

Adamas wished it would have been a simple discussion or a talk of understanding, with a treaty signed to end it.

However, he did not expect the other side to be so defensive, and they initiated the attack on him first, with Adamas only bringing a tiny squad as his army.

By doing Zeus's favour Adamas thought the plan would be simple; bringing the still-in-training soldier to accompany him to gained more experience.

No fighting just observe but

heck those brat deity of the desert sure got no chill nor patience....

"Youngster sure are rude these days"

Adamas strength was more supreme than with those pantheon and he managed to retreat his soldier back home with no loss. That's a win (not before beating the s*beep*t out of the gods that dare to raise the weapon on him and lastly they agreed to sign the treaty)

"Just because I'm the 'representative' of that little shit Zeus, doesn't meant they can disrespect me" Adamas gruff angrily.

Sighing, Adamas concluded that giving his soldier some well-deserved vacation time would be best after unexpected battle.

He slowly submerges into the water, halfway up to his nose, and blows out air bubbles from his nose.

Deep in thought again…..

Vacation….

Vacation….

Vacation….

Vacation….

.

.

.

.

"VACATION!!!!"

Adamas suddenly stands up from his bath in delight. He need to take a break from all the stress with vacation!!! THAT'S IT!!

The best medicine for all stresses: Day Off!!

'Nii-chan trust me you need have sex to let out your stress'  his memories about Zeus emerge when the word 'stress' pop inside Adamas head

'No you're wrong Zeus, that will bring future stress.. the correct answer is 'take a break' or or vacation!!!' Adamas thought very hardly.

Now, where should he go for his vacation?

He slowly descends back into the hot water.

Thinking hardly about the option that he had.

.

.

Underworld realm??

Ah ..too much dangerous stuff…

.

.

Heaven realm??

Nah… too much attention…

.

.

.

However, that leaves one realm left:

.

.

The Human Realm.

"I've not been to the human realm for decades! Perfect place to explore safely!"

It seemed like the perfect trip for his vacation!

AFTER BATH

Adamas cannot wait for tomorrow to comes.

.

.

.

Wait...hold on

Now he thinks about it, why should he wait? He can go now! Adamas thinks out loud while drying himself.

With a determined expression on his face, Adamas quickly walks over to his office. He reaches for his desk, searching for something inside some drawers.

"I think this is the device for communication for the human realm," Adamas said to himself as he pulled out a smartphone-like device that was far more advanced than what an average human would see.

Adamas rarely brings this with him, finding it unnecessary, as he prefers to talk face-to-face instead of using a phone. However, Adamas's reasons for bringing the phone with him to the Human Realm could be of great benefit.

"Let me see what we got here," Adamas said while turning on the device. Various applications emerged on the screen. Adamas pressed the map icon, thinking about where to go for his leisure visit to the human realm.

"Hmm, the lake could be nice. But I'm not desperate to want a quiet place.... maybe not. A beach could be relaxing, but it's cold this time of year..." Plus, the sea is Poseidon's dominion, and he wishes not for his day to be ruined by his little brother.

"Hmm... human cities would be nice, but…there are so many cities to choose from. That one, no…. that one? No?... That one could work, too."

Adamas was lost in thought, contemplating all the places he might visit. Before he could make up his mind, the knock on the door interrupted him.

"Come in," he chimed, hoping to continue planning after greeting whoever had knocked.

"Greetings, my lord; I have come to answer your call. What news or matter do you require of me and my services?" the servant said while bowing.

"Ah yes, informed the squad to have a day off for a week that's all," Adamas ordered swiftly while still pressing on the screen.

"As you command, I shall contact the squad immediately," the servant responded, rising from his curtsey.

"Make haste and do not disturb me at all for today," Adamas replied, returning to his planning.

Since he already ordered his servant to not disturb him for the day, he could slip out from the god realm without problem.

Adamas did not need Bifrost to go to the human realm. Instead, he had his own personal portal device gifted by Hermes. What a thoughtful nephew; Hermes knew his uncle wouldn't exploit it as much as Zeus did.

In the human realm

Adamas peeked by the corner and scanned around to look at his surroundings. He glances at the phone and passes by a human.

"It seems like humans have already evolved more advanced than before," Adamas said out loud. He just shrugged and then transformed himself into more humanlike.

The tattoo on his body is all gone except for a subtle black line across his face, still visible but barely. His skin turns a milkier colour. Satisfied by the look, now he feels exposed by the cold air blowing on his naked skin.

"Clothes," Adamas grumbled; he's pretty uncomfortable wearing clothes covering almost every part of his body, but what clothes do they wear? Adamas's peek at the passing human again…..

There's too much fashion style, and it's hurting his brain….

Adamas looks at his phone again and taps on Godggle to search for topics about human clothes. After countless references and sites, Adamas just decided to go with the 'casual' style?

A moment later

Adamas, the God of conquest, wore casual human clothing while walking around the city streets. He wears a red shirt and black trousers, with comfortable black loafers on his feet.

Adamas's clothes were not too fancy, just simple and comfortable for everyday use. His clothes also allowed him to move gracefully while he travelled, going through the busy streets and bustling crowds.

But….

Why did those humans keep staring at him?

Adamas noticed countless eyes were looking at him, and he just walked while glancing at the smartphone occasionally to ease his nervousness.

Delicious smells hit his nose, and he turned to see a shop; however, the shop was inside a strange, human vehicle? Adamas was confused to see that some human was idling around the shop, so he decided to look closer at the sign. 'Breakfast Truck Food' was the sign. What a strange combination of words.

"Young man! What can I get ya?" the shop owner called out to him in a foreign language. The sudden voice snaps out of his pondering. He saw an old human man inside the 'food truck'.

"I never had this kind of food before. What are you selling?" Adamas asked in perfect local language.

"Eh! Are you a local? I thought you were a tourist. It's rare to find such beauty in our area," the owner said truthfully in the local language, shocked by the appearance of this man, the local residing there.

"Do I look weird?" Adamas asked.

"Young man, you're too ethereal to be in this world," the owner jokingly said.

Adamas was stunned by the comment. Did he mess it up? Was his disguise not working? DID HE GET RUSTY WITH MAGIC??

"Your scarlet hair is throwing me off; I guess it's a trend for youngsters," the owner added. Snapping Adamas's internal monologue.

"It's… my natural hair," Adamas answered with a strange edge on his voice.

"Woah, seriously, damn…." The human looks at Adamas in admiration, and Adamas starts to get embarrassed by the attention and looks away.

"Anyway, gorgeous! Forgive me for taking your time; this old man is currently selling the best sandwich in town! And here's the menu for you to look at." The owner said while handing out the pamphlet.

Various sandwiches were shown, and Adamas stared at the menu cluelessly. "Actually, can you give me the best food you had in large portions and a hot chocolate?" he said while handing back the menu.

"In that case, you will like this meaty and juicy meat sandwich," the owner said while tapping on the picture on his truck.

"I'll take that," Adamas said. "Coming right up!"

While waiting for the food, Adamas looks around, appreciating the surroundings and the passerby…The human still glances at him from time to time now. It can't be helped; he just ignored them. He sits by a nearby table and looks at the truck again.

As he waited for his food, his thoughts suddenly turned to currency.

"Oh, right. I should check what currency they use here in the human realm."

He looked around to ensure no one was watching, then pulled a single paper of money out of thin air.

"There, that should be enough," he muttered to himself. Suddenly, a plastic plate with a cup of hot chocolate was present in front of him.

"Order up," the owner came by to put the food before God.

"Ah, I thought I needed to pick it up," Adamas said curiously. After all, he wished to immerse himself as a mortal for a day.

"Considered a special service," The owner smiled.

"How much? It seems like I forgot to pay," Adamas asked, remembering the courtesy of how humans do their business.

"It's on the house, young man!" The owner exclaimed while patting his own chest and faked bowed, "For some reason, I feel so content and blessed today. I don't know, maybe because of your gorgeousness, hahahahaha," he added while laughing.

"Haha..of course, who wouldn't feel blessed when they're at the presence of the God" Adamas thought dryly.

"Enjoy the food!" The owner said, turning back to his food truck. Unknown to him, Adamas slipped the money inside the owner's apron. "I guess 50 was enough…" Adamas mumbled and turned his attention to the food in front of him.

Adamas smiled warmly to himself as he ate his food, remembering how generous humans could be. He sipped his hot chocolate and smiled at the warm feeling spreading through his body. He hadn't expected anyone to treat him with such sincere respect.

After Adamas was done, he walked away from the food place. He found himself walking through the crowded streets, watching the people walk about their daily business. The sights and sounds were entirely foreign to him, and he was fascinated by the hustle and bustle of the town.

"This must be what it's like to be human. To exist in a world where you are not all-powerful and in constant control. Quite a fresh change of scenery," Adamas thought.

Adamas couldn't help but notice the buildings around him as he walked through the town. He was blown away by the towering structures, marvelling at the architecture of the human realm.

"When I was last here, these buildings weren't this tall," he remarked to himself. He couldn't help but admire the work that humans had accomplished.

Adamas walked through the crowd, taking in the sights and sounds of the human realm. He was amazed by the technological advancements he saw and was fascinated by the efficiency of the human world. He did not need to hide his smartphone even though it looked more advanced than humans, but he could still blend in.

He walked for a while, taking in the scenery and letting the bustle of the city wash over him. As he walked, he noticed people staring at him, some even approaching him. Adamas was amused but also a bit overwhelmed by the attention.

"Oh, my mister, are you a model?" "Where are you from?" "Hey, beauty, can I get to know you?"

This kind of fame was new to him, and he had to admit that he did not mind it. Adamas just smiled charmingly at them and excused himself away from the human, which caused the human to turn into the stoned.

Kirakirakirakira

"GAHHH My…my eyes!" "What's this heartbeat?" "Mom, I'm gay now."

Adamas walked further; he noticed a sign for a clothing store and decided to stop and take a look. He had seen that all the humans were dressed very differently and was interested in discovering more.

He entered the store and began browsing the different items that were on display. There were so many different styles and colours, and Adamas was impressed by the creativity of human fashion. As he continued to browse, a sales associate approached him.

"Can I help you find something?" the employee asked kindly.

"Oh, I'm just browsing around," Adamas replied casually, looking at the clothing. "I don't usually wear clothes, so I'm unsure what to pick."

The employee looked at him in confused by his statement and then smiled. "Sure! Let me help you. What kind of style are you looking for?"

"How about something comfortable?" Adamas said, glancing at the outfits on display. "Something that I can move freely in."

The employee nodded and showed Adamas's different outfits that would match his description. Adamas looked at the clothes, feeling slightly overwhelmed by the choices. He never bothered changing his wardrobe. After all, most of his clothes were designed by Aphrodite and gifts from Hades.

The employee continued recommending some outfits and offered advice on styles and colours that would look good on him.

After trying on a few different outfits, Adamas finally decided on one comfy shirt and trousers he could wear casually the next time he went to the human realm.

"This one looks great on you!" the employee said with a smile.

"I'll take it," Adamas replied, reaching into his pocket to pull out some money. "You have my gratitude for your service, huma- I meant dear," Adamas said.

The employee laughed at Adamas's formal way of talking and gave him a sheepish smile. "No problem," the employee replied kindly. "Let me ring you up for this."

The employee then began scanning the items and finalizing the sale. Once the sale was complete, Adamas received his receipt and gathered up his new outfit.

Adamas smiling with radiance before leaving the store.

Kyuuuuuuuuuuuun.

The employee's heart had just been shot by that smile. 'How can a man be this sinfully ethereal!!'

"Ple-a please come again!" the employee said, her face reddened with a flustered smile.

Adamas walked out, leaving the shops; he took out his phone, thinking about where to go next.

Adamas spent his time exploring the local landmarks and learning more about the customs and traditions of the people. He's now walked through the city streets, aimlessly, taking in the sights, sounds, and smells around him.

"How come this kind of thing interest me? //sigh// maybe the castle no longer bustling with others voice" Adamas thought remembering the day at Kronos palace and during Zeus's children was still young.

Adamas was still amazed by how vibrant and alive the human realm was. He was also surprised to find that the humans were often kinder and more generous than the gods.

He couldn't help but take some photos and videos to document his trip while still blending in with the crowd. He could feel the stares of the humans as he walked by, but Adamas ignored them as best as he could.

As Adamas continues his journey through the city of the human world around him, he cannot help but notice that the people of this world are filled with so much hope and dreams. Despite their mortality, they have created a beautiful world that is full of laughter.

"Humans are truly incredible. Perhaps this day of disguising myself is not such a bad idea after all," Adamas said.

Adamas continued walking through the town, observing the people going about their everyday lives again.

Adamas then decided to take a break and grab a bite to eat.

It's not like he needs to eat, but he likes the idea of enjoying the sensation of eating human food. He walked past several cafes and restaurants, but his nose led him into a small hole-in-the-wall shop with a delicious smell emanating out.

The sign outside said 'Cafe'. He walked inside and was treated to several tasty options.

Adamas's eyes sparkled when he noticed there was a variety of sweets!!!

Adamas ordered a delicious-looking moist chocolate cake and sat down at a table. He took out his phone to document his time in the human world.

As he took a bite, Adamas was stunned by the taste of the cake. It was light and fluffy and perfectly sweetened with caramel. He couldn't believe how delicious it was! He had never tasted anything like it before. Adamas expression beamed in joy, his divine power ooze out in please.

Whilst enjoying his food in obliviousness, Adamas noticed people staring at him. He looked up and realized the customers nearby in the cafe were staring at him.

"Are...you...by any chance a star?" someone asked cautiously.

Adamas looked up, startled, 'A star?' Adamas thought while munching the cake inside his mouth. Gulping it down. What would human though he was some kind of star? Well it's a fair assumption since his siblings has it own planet as their counterpart, like Jupiter, Neptune and Pluto

"No. I'm actually a god," he responded nonchalantly. The human went silent, and Adamas couldn't help but be proud of his effect on the humans.

The human just laughed awkwardly at his statement and claimed it was a good joke.

After that statement, Adamas continued his eating activity, and the humans around him kept staring. They were bewildered by his statement...but none dared to question him any further. He continued to eat his cake, and people watched him with curiosity.

It didn't take him long to notice people were taking photos of him with their phones silently. Adamas did not mind this; he simply nodded, smiled, and continued eating his cake.

As long as they did not disturb him..

that's fine

Adamas went out to do a common human activity 'shopping spree'. They're so many interesting stuff at human realm that can be purchased with 'money'. Adamas get to experience to types of shopping, the high end and the common area.

The high end area was fine... Many luxury human stuff were displayed and the service was good. Those human is too noisy asking this and that. Does shopping thingy is complicated??

Also waiting list? Wth even is that? He low-key thought the stuff would be 100% covered with gold and jewel but no just some weird looking and creative design. Nothing special like the treasure that he have.

In the other hand the common area was slightly interesting many tricket and interesting weird looking stuff. These human considered it as 'affordable'?

But the shopping area is much more 'organic' to be mingle and understand.

Despite all of that, both of Adamas 's hand are full with shopping bag he bought out of impulse. He just flung the money in front of the face of those human and demand for the best items. No question ask.

Now Adamas was unsure where he was going but wanted to continue exploring the city. As he walked, he noticed the times almost reach midnight and realized he had stayed in the human realm longer than he planned.

Ah no wonder human starting to dispersed.

"It's about time for me to return to my abode," Adamas said out loud, remembering his godly duty and preferring to rest at his own domain.

.

.

.

Then, a thought hit him.

"What if...... I stayed at human realm for a night?"

What is holding him back? He can do anything that he want.

The thought of experiencing all the other things that humans enjoyed made Adamas feel giddy with excitement.

"It won't hurt if I stay for a few extra hours. Humans have been known to be quite resourceful. It would be nice to learn more of them," Adamas thought...

Adamas noticed a tall building off to the side with a sign that said "Hotel." He did not know what it meant but decided to go inside.

Adamas's eyes widened when he stepped into the building. In the hotel lobby, several humans were staying and some were in groups, talking and laughing. Adamas did not know what to do, so he decided to go to the counter in the middle of the lobby.

He noticed the humans talking to the person at the counter. Some were asking for rooms, while others were requesting towels and soap.

Adamas observed closely, and as soon as the counterperson was free, he approached them. She looked at Adamas with a smile.

"Hello! How can I help you today?" she said in a cheerful tone.

Adamas did not know how to act..." Um... I'm not sure what this place is for, but I was hoping it's a place I can stay for the night??" Adamas said while looking at the woman.

"Oh! Of course! We are a hotel and are able to provide you with a comfortable place to sleep for the night," the receptionist said.

Adamas looked at her with a shocked expression on his face, as if he did not expect humans to have this kind of place.

"So you mean humans voluntarily leave their homes to stay in a building that looks foreign to them? Are they not scared?" Adamas asked with his eyes widening.

The receptionist was somewhat weirded out by Adamas's question, but she dismissed it and provided him with her best services. The receptionist laughs and explains, "Of course, people tend to stay at the hotel as change of scenery. People usually enjoyed being in new places...even if it meant they were away from home".

Adamas was still confused. "I don't understand ....human desire to leave their safe space to stay other unknown places??" Adamas thought to himself. "Why spend the night in a 'hotel' when they can sleep in their comfortable home?"

This new discovery intrigued Adamas to stay at this hotel since he would not return to his god abode tonight.

There is no harm trying right??

Perhaps he would understand why humans preferred hotels over their own homes when he had the chance to experience it himself.

"I would like to spend a night in your best room," Adamas told the counter.

"Excellent! May I know your name, sir?" she said while typing on the computer.

Adamas paused…consider what name to use. While he may be a god in the Greek pantheon, he was simply a man with no name in the Human Realm. He took a moment to observe his physical features again to pick a fitting name.

"Call me, um, Rheo." Adamas decided. He slammed his head internally, "I'm sorry, Mother, for taking your name and changing it."

The receptionist was delighted at having Adamas as a customer. The receptionist looked through her computer files and showed him the available rooms.

One of them was more luxurious, decorated in a more lavish style and with a view of the city's skyline, while another was smaller and more affordable. Adamas chose the lavish room - after all, he's a god.

"I will take the lavish one. Here, I hope it's enough," Adamas said while handing out hefty cash.

"You are welcome, sir Rheo. Here is your room key," the receptionist replied, astonished by the amount of money.

Adamas could feel the receptionist's surprise at the amount of money he gave her. He didn't know why, but he thought that money was too insignificant.

It was not like he would be using that money elsewhere anyway...he only wanted to experience everything about the human world. He took the room key and decided to head to the elevator to his room.

"Sir! Your change!" The receptionist said while the elevator door closed behind him.

.

.

Using his tactical experience, Adamas navigates to his designated room. As Adamas unlocked and entered his room, his eyes widened at the sight. There was a king-size bed, furniture, a couch, a desk, and all sorts of modern electronics and appliances.

"Huh.. that's all?" Adamas thought, his mind comparing this so called lavish human room with his God's abode.

His divine abode was filled with treasures and amenities that no human could ever imagine.

Adamas took it all in for a second and then laughed at himself.

"Human standards are so low....they would be amazed by what I can just summon at my grand palace."

The room was.... Ok? He don't know.. and he did enjoy the spaciousness, but it was not like the divine realm had not prepared him for this.

He simply shrugged before deciding to look around the room...

Adamas pulled the curtain away, revealing a breathtaking city view.

The view of the city was stunning.

Adamas felt like he was in a fairy tale, with the beautiful lights and the moonlight illuminating the buildings. Everything looked so beautiful and magical,

He was mesmerized by the view while he opened the balcony to look outside. The city was beautiful and sprawling. It was a beautiful sight.

Screw the room

The view was worth it!!

He grabbed his phone and took a few pictures of the beautiful city.

Adamas just leaned on the rail, looking at the view. He enjoyed the spectacular view of the sprawling city; a gust of wind blew into his face. He loved the feeling of the wind on his skin and hair; the atmosphere was magical.

The breeze was refreshing but also slightly chilly.

Adamas stays on the spot; it's not like he needs a rest or sleep.

Adamas gazed down upon the human realm until the sun emerged from the horizon.

Today was an experience that made Adamas feel alive. His eyes glistened as the sun came up and shone a warm light on him. This was truly a beautiful sight.

"Hmm..." he said to himself as his hand instinctively reached for his phone. Adamas thought he would like to take a photo of the sunrise.

The sunrise signalled his time in the human world was coming to an end.

Adamas felt the sun's warmth on his skin; it was a different kind of warmth in heaven, but it was nonetheless comforting. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, taking in the sights of the human world.

But his divine duties were calling him back to the heavenly realm. He looked at the balcony one final time. It had been a fantastic experience, but it was time to return home.

Adamas vanish into the thin air.

AT ADAMAS ABODE

After returning from the human realm, putting away his purchases at his private quarters, Adamas walked towards his throne room, to resume his duties. Now seated by his throne as he was about to start his work, he was greeted by his injured squad.

The soldiers kneeled before their lord, showing their devotion and determination.

"My lord, forgive us for the sudden visit," they said.

"What are you doing here? Didn't I give out an order to rest?" Adamas said, confused by their presence.

"You did, but we do not deserve it, milord," the soldiers replied. They had expected an outburst, but Adamas generously offered them a week off for vacation after their bloody campaign.

Adamas laughed at their reaction. Which caused the soldier to be tense. "You dare to defy my order and claim you did not deserve it?" The God was pleased to see the soldiers' loyalty and devotion.

He had given the order to rest so they could recover from the battle, but instead, they returned to offer their services. What a fool.

Adamas smiled reassuringly and waved his hand. "You all have done a great job and deserve a break for my own misconduct on that expedition."

The soldier was shocked by their lord's statement. Did their lord just smile at them???

"Adamas-sama the faulty was our own! We had burdened you during the campaign!!"

"I should've gone there alone," Adamas mumbled silently now feeling annoyed by their antics.

Adamas sighed loudly... Now losing his good mood.

The soldiers feared that they had overstepped, "My lord, our devotion does not allow us to rest when our failure is apparent," one of them said.

Adamas sighed heavily. Again.

"SILENCE, YOU FOOL!" Adamas said authoritatively

"I already laid out my order, and you dare to question my judgement! You all deserve a respite after your battle!"

The soldier bowed in shame, daring to refuse their lord's generosity.

"Take time and rest, my child. You did a wonderful job, and my divine realm is safe for you to rest." Adamas ended with a gentle voice like soothing children.

The soldiers were in tears of gratefulness as Adamas reprimanded them. It seemed as if they had failed in their duty by disobeying their lord, as if they were not worthy of the divine realm.

"Yes, my Lord!!" they said as they bowed their heads with a tear of happiness and shame. They could not understand why their lord was so gracious today; it was like a dream come true for them.

Wait…Lord Adamas is always generous with them. The thought inside their heads are wild 'MY LORD I WILL ALWAYS FOLLOW YOU!!' 'Am I in heaven...No..THIS IS HEAVEN!' 'I want to marry my lord'

.

"What the heck is wrong with you guys…" Adamas said while sweat dropped from the teary eyes of his soldier.

.

"Get out now!" Adamas ordered harshly, starting to loss his patience.

.

The soldiers quickly obeyed, rushing out as fast as they could to avoid the God of Conquest's wrath. Not wanting to upset Adamas any further, the soldiers exclaimed in delight as they ran off.

"THANK YOU, MY LORD!" "ADAMAS-SAMA IS THE BEST!" "SEE YOU NEXT WEEK, MY LORD!"

This collective yell could be heard from the distance, which made him roll his eyes in annoyance as he rubbed his temples, exasperated by their antics.

Adamas had not expected these soldiers to be so...well...adored of him.

With a sigh, he got up and started working on his pending work. As he went about his usual duties, he couldn't help but feel happy and content after the events of the day before. The world outside the divine realm was truly beautiful and it had filled him with joy.

He smiled to himself.

“Maybe I will go visit human realm next time again”
