   Summary

   The Soul Society was enjoying a time of relative peace. The terrible conflict precipitated by the former captain Aizen had ended years previously, and the reorganization of Soul Society operations was complete. But the Soul Society was woefully out of touch with the living world; the information they had was decades old, and shinigami who needed to blend in… well, they just didn't. Renji volunteers to spend time in the human world to remedy this, and to help Ichigo learn how to cope with the aftermath of the war.
