Summary
After realizing she is somehow in the world of Dragon Age, one of her favorite video games, Iris Mills sets out to find a way to return home, while keeping the circumstances of her predicament to herself. Due to her compassionate nature, she stalls, helping those who need it along the way. Iris quickly becomes friends and attached to those around her, especially a certain golden-eyed Commander who seems to be enthralled with her as well. Suddenly, she is blindsided by a vision of Thedas on fire. Iris realizes that her being there will bring about the destruction of those she loves. Dodging enemies and Inquisition patrols alike, along with help from Morrigan and an unexpected ally, she hunts down a way to return to her home world. But what happens when meaning behind the vision and her arrival into Thedas are revealed? Is leaving the best option or is there more in play here? Can she stop whatever is coming or is saying goodbye forever the only way to save them?
