Summary
Taishakuten already knew he wasn’t supposed to talk to that man. He said it himself, after all. Still, there was something alluring to him, something familiar. There was no way Taishakuten was going to simply sit down and ignore that feeling, even if all he knew about Asura screamed of danger.
Asura knew he shouldn’t let Taishakuten approach him. It wasn’t right, not after everything that happened. His choice to erase everyone’s memories was final, it was the best for everyone involved to see him as a villain. And yet… there he was. Letting the blonde get closer.
The gears of destiny were turning again for them. -

Taishakuten always had, as far as he could recall, the need for a hero.
Sure, he grew to become one, apparently, but he still felt that there should be someone else. It was constantly gnawing on his mind, something that said that he wasn’t the right person to be glorified. Not when he was so desperate to create a peaceful word that he would commit atrocities.
How was he supposed to continue, knowing that he had a hero that was taken away from him and everyone else?
The blonde’s breath was erratic, as he tried to recompose himself while still running without a proper destination. He just needed to move, to think, to understand the dimension of everything that happened.
He knew he had not seen everything on Asura’s mind. Taishakuten had been too shocked to continue, too confused. Now, he wanted to dissect that mind of his as soon as possible, until he was able to squeeze all the answers. And he would do that no matter what, even if he had to hunt down Asura to the depths of hell.
With new resolve, he went to trace the Mara’s presence. It would take forever, though, he had no idea where to search
