Chapter Text
Chapter One
Johnny was about done filling out his paper work when he heard the doorbell rang. Confused, he flickered his eyes back and forth between the door and his files, quickly debating which one was more important than the rest. Sighing, he frowned, thinking: "Who can be here right now? Class doesn't start until another five minutes." He placed the paperwork on the table and called out for Miguel who hummed in response in the distance. He was busy trying to put his gear in his backpack, making room for his text books and computers. Seriously, how the hell was he suppose to put shit in??
He gave up in frustration and headed over to Sensei Lawrence. "Yes sensei?" he asked. "Go check who's at the door," He said, and went back to fill out the paper work. "Yes sensei," Miguel said in a more depressed tone than before. Sighing, he rubbed his eyes and headed over to the door and nearly froze.
There, in front of him, was the guy he showed mercy to you. The guy who paralyzed him in front of the whole school, for a month.
His breath hitched.
"Oh hey Miguel, didn't expect to see you there," Robby said after a moment. Miguel glared at him, tightening his grip on the doorknob. "What are you doing here?" He hissed, and Robby rolled his eyes. "Relax, I'm not going to do anything. I'm just here to see if I can train, that's all." "Can't you train with Larusso?" He asked, taking a step back to let Robby here. "No, but seeing by your actions that you let me in, pretty much says that I can train here," he remarked, smirking as he saw Miguel roll his eyes. "Plus, I've been working on my skills." "Yeah yeah, whatever man." Miguel muttered as he went back to trying to stuff his backpack when Hawk and Demetri entered the dojo a few minutes later.
Hawk smirks when he sees Robby. His eyes are scanning the dojo, and he swore he could have seen Robby blushing at Miguel.
"Looks like we've got some unexpected guests." "Uh, you mean guest? There's only one." Demetri corrected and Hawk rolled his eyes. "Mind if we join?" he asked. Robby shrugged. "Don't think you can keep up." "Hey! Only I'm allowed to say shit to him!" Hawk hissed defensively, startling Robby as Miguel groaned. "I give up on this," he said, stretching as Johnny came into the room. "What the hell is going on here?" he asked, and Robby looked up at him.
"I'm going to train here today," he said. "Why not at Daniel's?" "He's busy." he said casually. "Fine." Johnny said. "You get five minutes to warm up." "Yes sensei," they said.
For the rest of the class, Miguel had tried to avoid Robby.
He couldn't help but think back to when he was at the hospital.
He didn't want to go through that again.
He headed over to Johnny in his office after class. "Uh..Sensei? Can I talk to you for a moment?" He asked. "Yeah sure," Johnny said as he slowly typed something on the computer. Miguel could figure out that he was having trouble with it, but he shifted uncomfortably and glanced outside to find Robby on his phone. "Are you really sure it's a good idea to let Robby train with us?" He asked. He shrugged. "I don't see why not." "Yeah but.." He sighed. "He-" "HEY, PARTY AT MY HOUSE AT 7!" Hawk shouted in the distance. Miguel blinked.
A party?
At Hawk's?
Alright.
"Uh, never mind sensei," he said. "I'll see you tomorrow," "I'll see you tomorrow Miguel," Johnny said as he exited the building.
