Summary
Crowley's gaze bore into Aziraphale's, searching for any hint of insincerity. He wanted to believe, he wanted to let go of the pain that had festered for so long, but it wasn't easy to relinquish the past. They held each other's gaze for a long moment, unbroken silence hanging heavily between them, the fading sunlight casting a warm, golden glow upon their faces.
"You hurt me, Aziraphale. You hurt me more than you know. This isn’t enough.”

Aziraphale yearns for Crowley's forgiveness, while the demon battles his own conflicted feelings until they finally admit what's in their hearts. (I can't wait for S3 and just can't get enough, so here's a short post S2 fix, hope it helps you heal. Story set after they managed to stop the Second Coming, what can I say, I'm impatient and couldn't write it all. Chapter 2 is light smut and more fluff, nothing explicit as I'm not good with that type of writing.)
