Soobin licked his lips, his mouth suddenly dry. He looked at Yeonjun's beaming face, the rare unadulterated joy; he thought of rethinking his plan. But then again, maybe if it wasn't now, it could be never. And that would be an even bigger regret than leaving before he could finally see Tomorrow x Together to fruition. Honestly, the universe had a impeccable ways to always end up placing him between a rock and a hard place.

The smile on Yeonjun's lips had transformed into a different kind. It was small, but was proud. Like he was proud of Soobin. Soobin stared at Yeonjun's smile for a couple of beats, then shook himself out of the trance, before blurting,
