A dread of the unknown, a superstitious fear, a reverence for Emrys...
Or, what do you see when you encounter the god of the druids Emrys in one of their temples at night.
Notes:

On July s0mmerspr0ssen asked me for a "Merlin as a druid god / as powerful Emrys as worshipped by the druids" illustration, so of course I said yes. The only things that she wanted were tattoos, jewelery, fancy headgear and him on a druid temple. So I began to research in my book collection, and thankfully I found some amazing designs on an "Origins of Europe" book, and one paragraph describing the tribes from the north was exactly the feeling I was looking for this piece: "A dread of the unknown, superstitious fear and reverence of beasts, and a love for splendor and sumptuous designs".
The jewelry piece is based on a VII century Visigoth Crown, which I liked because of the blue gems and the natural design on the gold, and it was funny to read the amazement of s0mmer about the knowledge of me casually having books with photographs of jewerly from the IV to X centuries.
