   Summary

   Emily wrote for everyone. She wrote greetings for the school paper, she wrote poems on Christmas cards, she wrote wistful couplets on the grave of Lavinia's first cat, and only when her bedroom door slammed shut and a heavy tingle informed Emily that someone so desirable was behind her did she write for Sue.
