Undoubtedly love

Summary:

God was he beautiful. Silky ebony hair enveloped his pale moonlight-colored skin. His loose clothes hanging from his long limbs.
Your heart thumped as you looked at him,
" Your eyes are so beautiful.." You whispered. Mesmerized by his luminous green eyes, They contrasted so beautifully with the cool moonlight.
His eyes creased at your compliment as if it were such an incredulous statement, closing the space between you.
His long fingers traced the edge of your chin, and then he chuckled.

Chapter Text

"I refused to marry him."

" You did what?" Your mother's voice rang unpleasantly through your ears, Her extreme tone made your head pulse.

"Do you know how hard I worked for that?" She screamed. Swinging her arm in a quick violent movement, she sent anything she could reach to the ground.
"Do you know how much he's worth?" She shrieked, her face glowing redder with every passing second.

Your ears went silent in a second, Vigorous ringing vibrating through our drums. But at least you couldn't hear her shrieking anymore.
You didn't need to, it was the same thing she whined about every day.
On and on about how she ;
'Spent so much money raising you!'
'He was a good man! All you'd need to do is shut up and sit pretty!'
It was as if she was a grungy old crow.
'Heavy on the old...' You giggled to yourself
" You...! You...!"
In a sudden movement, your hair tangled up in her fist, And with a yank, she was pulling your head along with her movements,
"Hey! Hey, wait! God! Stop!" You cried, your hair pulling and ripping in her grip. You spent so much of your childhood looking down, that even with your hair scrunched in her fist you could tell you were very quickly heading for the door.

With her spare hand, she shoved the door open so hard it vibrated at his hem. And with a sharp throw of her arm, You sat scrapped and bruised from the tumble to the floor.

"Since you think this is so damn funny you can sleep with the pigs!" She sneered "You're filthy, so you might as well be one." The loud slam flushed air across your face.

Your head rang in silence, and you could still feel the tingle on your scalp.
" She really just did that.."

The sun had set on itself, the darkness covering every inch of the land. The children began to head inside, and all the livestock began to settle down.

"God damn it!" You grumbled, Kicking a pebble in your rage. You angrily stopped your way to the heavily green forest. Most people would keep from entering the woods at night, but this was the only shelter you could find at short notice.

"I'm not your damn slave!" You yelled again, taking out your misplaced anger on the greenery around you. You knew life wasn't quite fair. But this was beyond unfair! You were stuck with such a wretched woman.

You let out a boneless sigh, finally allowing the pebbles and grass to escape from your tyranny, The moon was far too beautiful to let your anger ruin the moment. So you pressed forward into the forest.

"I'll probably get torn into shreds in these woods. But at least I won't have to see that witch again." The words pricked your tongue, almost as if the witches warned you not to compare them to such a woman.

Trees covered the rich soil, and for every opening in-between dense bushes bunched at the tree's roots, short sprouts soaking up every drop of moonlight that dripped through.
" Ugh..." You groaned frustratedly. The thick foliage surrounding your feet made every push and pull of your feet heavy and sluggish.
" Holy fuck!" And as if the world was against you, The thorny vines wrapped at your feet, prickling your legs calling those vile mosquitos to gather.
' It can't get worse, can it?'

Then with a sudden movement, your body went tumbling down the hill. A twig scape here, and a greenly hit there.
It seemed like gravity was throwing your body on every surface it could reach.
You could feel the adrenaline course through your tumbling body, thinning your sense of pain. It must have started to make you see things, too. Surely, the thorns that once covered every inch of the woods, weren't parting for you, were they?

" You're quite the clumsy human."

His voice was deep and cold, you could feel every vibration sliver down your spine. You could feel his harsh gaze on you, and the pressure oozing off of him.
Should you be scared? Probably, You were alone in the woods, and undoubtedly not normal.
But you had lost your survival instincts years ago.
" Hey! are you... Oh..."

"You're clumsy and odd.." He said as a Cheshire grin etched across his face, but even that unnerving smile was enchanting. He seemed to hum, deep and rumbling. You swear you could feel it. " Most humans are scared of me, my eyes especially."

"Scared of you?" You gasped. It was unbelievable! his beauty was so unamijably unreal that he didn't seem human. "You're so captivating.." The words left you with a heavy breath. You were far too worn and tired to hear your own words.

His eyes seemed to curve at your words as they traced over every inch of your face. His lashes dropped and fluttered over his vision, his tall form letting him loom just above you.

"You truly aren't scared of me, Human."
