Summary
He was trapped, for thousands of years, in a prison of his own creation.
Mostly my take on Part of a Shadow Milk Backstory- or why he's Like that about Pure Vanilla. Mostly psych horror because it's an analysis of what happens to him without anything, when he stops remembering what it was like to be someone. Though, he doesn't notice until he wants to live again.
I'm writing comfort to follow up this hurt- but it's a great agony that gives me so many ideas on how traumatized Shadow Milk is yippee. This is my first fic in forever so don't eviscerate me.

“Coparenting,” she’d said. That word had been thrown around a couple times. A foreign word to Rouxls, as he didn’t know what it was like to not raise Lancer alone. But from how she talked about it, it sounded like a good thing. Then followed her royal demand to visit his house to see where her son lived. Stay for a minute to talk and chat about how to proceed with the new arrangement. I mean, it made sense that she’d want to talk to him eventually, get to know her son’s caretaker a little bit, but it still took him off guard. They’d interacted before, multiple times, but only professionally, and this was the first time she wanted to get to know him.
