Following popular belief, Cale Henituse was extremely good at giving hugs, which for those who had known him during his time as "trash", remained something they were infinitely curious about.
After all, he hadn't given a single hug to anyone in years, where had he learned how?
The answer, for better or worse, appeared on its own after a fight.
Running at top speed and shouting a word that most didn't understand, but the person it was meant for did.
Said person is the much-loved redhead, who instantly readies himself, one foot further back and arms outstretched, his gaze fixed on the man who jumps straight at him, whom he catches effortlessly. There is a moment of silence before both men begin to laugh, the stranger doing so without regret, his hands anchored on the Henituse's shoulders and his whole body leaning in his direction, easily covering the nobleman; Cale's laughter is softer, easy to overlook, but the small smile on his face is unmistakable; the look in both of their eyes is bright, cheerful, full of something sparkling that the rest of them don't quite decipher.
“It's been so long! Did you miss me?”
“You? Ha! You jumping on me and almost breaking my back? Not at all.”
“So you missed me!” The stranger's voice is choked in delight, the one that accompanies with a smirk at his next words, “and with that it's 17 seconds, new record.”
“Were you really counting?”
“Maybe I was.”
“Go on then, because I don't remember letting you go.”
Later, they discover that the name of the man in their Commander's arms is named Choi Jung Soo, for now, he's just someone who makes Cale laugh like they've rarely seen.
