    Summary

    During the height of the war of the rings, Thranduil, Elrond, and Glorfindel find themselves trapped in a fairytale world controlled by giant overlords, hag queens, and misery. At the same time, this strange world is connected to the planet vulcan in the 24th century. The USS Voyager has only been back in the delta quadrant for a few months and the crew is excited to be given a mission on Vulcan. But they find that Vulcan is in more danger than they could have imagined, especially when a long dead villain from another century launches a campaign against the vulcans, from the comfort of a fairytale world that seems to defy logic.
