Chapter 1: The Meeting
“Oh, Mon Cherie, I’ll miss you this summer,” an elegant looking woman with long flowing white hair crooned, cradling a girl that looked to be around eleven or twelve years of age. She had long, dark auburn hair that could be mistaken for black depending on the way the sun shined its light on it and wonderfully bright silver eyes, “Don’t cause too much trouble, understand?”
“I won’t, Mama, I’ll be good, I promise,” the girl says, hugging her mother just as tightly, “I can’t wait to see the camp you went to as a young girl!”
The woman laughs, “I doubt it’s changed much but I do remember having very fond memories of the place,”
“I’ll miss you and Aunty Blake too, I promise to call immediately once I settle!” the girl says with gusto earning a laugh from the other woman with long black hair and amber eyes.
“Don’t start any camp wars, you hear? But in the event you do, make sure to crush your enemy completely,” The black haired woman smirks, making the other woman smack her arm.
“Blake! Stop teaching my sweet daughter those kinds of things,” the mother says but Blake seemed unbothered by the nagging.
“Don’t mind your nagging mom, if a kid gives you trouble, punch them to assert dominance, got it, V?” Blake smirks and the girl salutes, “I give you permission to deck them in the face,”
“You will do no such thing, young lady!” Weiss says in a shrill manner earning laughs from both her best friend and daughter. Their moment was interrupted as the PA system announced that the plane was ready. The woman sighs and gives her daughter a final kiss on the forehead, “Be safe, alright, Mon cherie? Klein, watch over her during the flight,”
The sweet man nods, “Indeed, Mrs. Schnee, I will watch over the whole time,”
“Klein and I will be enjoying a ten hour flight watching documentaries,” the little girl grins brightly.
“That we will, Little Miss Violet, now, shall we?” Klein smiles, taking care of the luggage and they watched as the excitable girl went on ahead, “Rest assured, Snowflake, I will make sure she’ll be safe before I return,”
“I know, i just… this is the first time I won’t see her for a while… I just get antsy,” Weiss replies, looking at the direction her daughter went.
“She’ll be fine, you worry so much, plus this’ll be good for her growth,” Blake reassures the worried woman, giving her a pat on the back, “You and I on the other hand, have a lot of work to catch up to,”
“Please take a picture of her before you come back, okay Klein?” she reminds just as the man turns to follow her daughter.
The man nods, “I will make sure to do so, snowflake,”
Weiss could only watch sadly as two of her favorite people began walking away. She sighs when she could no longer see their figures amidst the crowd and turning her heel the other direction.
“You alright there, Schnee?” Blake asks, raising a brow.
“I will be… well… maybe after I have a couple of glasses of wine,” she mumbles dejectedly, “My little girl is growing up so fast and every time I see her eyes, I see her and it throws me into such a fritz,”
“You still love her? Ruby, I mean…? That’s her name, right? I thought you guys had this big fight and that’s why you left,” Blake says, “What kind of person was she?” and when black haired woman turned to face her best friend she looked like she was brought back in time.
“She was a troublemaker,” Weiss rolled her eyes but the smile on her face showed that she was everything but annoyed at the thought, “annoying, loud…but… She was tender, loving, sweet, she always looked out for me… she took care of everything when I was pregnant and for the first two years after the twins were born, everything was perfect, she completed me in a way nobody has ever done so and not a single person has matched up to that since… We were so young and so in love, Blake…” she sighed.
“You two seemed perfect for each other, what happened then?” Blake frowned.
“Like I said… we were young… but also… too immature, stupid… it seems that at the time we didn’t fully see the whole picture of having kids at that age, I was only twenty-three and already a mother of two kids! I love them both but at the time… it was so difficult… So much stress, about my job at the time, my father, my heritage, our future… it felt like everything was falling apart… Then the fights started, petty things really, simple stuff to the point where I forgot what the whole thing was about… then the hurtful words hurled at each other and it got to the point where I couldn’t take it anymore, I left… and she never chased after me… I just never bothered after… “ Weiss said quietly, “I don’t remember every specific reason for our fights but I remember the hurt… the pain… so badly that I never told my daughter she had a twin sister… What we did… it was such a selfish decision, taking one child and letting the other feel like we’ve abandoned them but… I don’t even know how to begin undoing that damage, I don’t know what to do…”
“Weiss…”
“There are still times I dream she’d knock on my door and we’d both be apologizing for all the stupidity we’ve done to each other… then she’d sweep me off my feet and kiss me senseless like how she’d always done…” but she shakes her head, wiping a tear from her eye, “but after all this time? That’s impossible… I hope one day I get to at least have the courage to face my younger daughter… and I hope she’d forgive my selfishness,”
“You still love her then?”
“Sadly…” she chuckles bitterly, “and I don’t think I can ever love anyone else… So I’ll just keep on doing the same as I’ve always done and do my best for Violet, dating be damned, you, Klein, Winter, Mother and even Whitley are all I need… Violet’s all I need in my life…” then she began walking back to the car leaving Blake behind.
“I hope a miracle happens for you, Weiss… I really do,” the black haired woman mumbles to nobody in particular before following her best friend.
—
“Ah! I’m so excited!” a girl with short, shaggy dark auburn hair with bright electric blue tips exclaimed in excitement, “This is gonna be an epic summer!” she grins, icy blue eyes practically shining, “Are you gonna miss me, Mom, are ya, are ya!? Aunty Yang! Don’t do anything fun without me, okay!?”
“Jeez Mini Rubes, did you drink anything caffeinated today? You’re so bouncy!” a tall woman with long, shaggy blonde hair and lilac eyes said lightly chuckling, “and no, besides I won’t be able to go up the trails without you anyway, I need someone to be bait for the jaguars, remember?” she smirks at the girl.
“Rude! Mom, your sister is threatening to feed me to the mountain lions again,” she pouts, turning towards the other woman with similar dark hair, only hers had been dyed red at the tips.
“She’s just saying that because she’ll miss you, I will too, so very much,” the woman turns towards her daughter, “Be good, okay? Don’t cause too much trouble,”
“Aww! But you did so much damage when you went there when I was your age!” the girl teased and that earned the girl a loose chokehold whilst being given so much noogies, “No! Not the hair!”
“You’re becoming more and more into a rebellious teenager!” they both laughed as the roughhousing continued,”I love you kiddo,” the dark haired woman says, placing a kiss on the little girl’s forehead, “you go have fun,”
“And remember, if you wanna show dominance, punch the first person you see the moment you get there,” The blonde woman grins mischievously, “Right, Rubes?”
Ruby could only roll her eyes and shake her head, “No, not right, Yang, please don’t punch anybody, do you understand me, Autumn Sapphire Rose?”
The girl snickers before nodding, “I won’t punch anybody, this I solemnly swear,” she raises her right hand and makes an ‘X’ mark with her other hand just above her heart, “...without reason, anyway,” she followed up much more quietly.
“I heard that, young lady,” Ruby deadpans before hugging her daughter again, “Be safe, be good and enjoy your summer,”
“Don’t worry! I will! Tell Granda, Grandma, Grunkle and Graunty I’ll miss them!” the girl pulls away before sprinting towards the boarding gate, with one last turn she waves, “I’ll miss you too! Mom! Aunt Yang! Love ya!” she smiles before energetically dashing in. Ruby could only look at that disappearing figure with a melancholic smile. Her sister places a hand on her shoulder and hastily wipes a tear on the side of her face.
“You okay, Rubles?” Yang asks and she just nods.
“Yeah… she’s just growing up so fast… She looks more and more like her everyday that sometimes I don’t know what to do,” she replies, “I still miss her… them, Yang, and it’s getting more and more difficult… with the whole… Cinder situation… “
“So… are you gonna take Cinder seriously or is it just… a rebound after all these years of not dating…? Have you even told Saph about her?” Yang asks skeptically but Ruby could only shake her head.
“No… I haven’t told her about Cinder and I… I planned on broaching the topic before she left but… I couldn’t find the courage to do so… she still keeps her picture beneath her pillow… she hides it because she thinks I’d get upset that she found the only picture of her other mother but… she doesn’t know that I know and I’m just letting her keep it because I know it’s important to her,” Ruby says sadly, “... do you think I’m making the right decision? I just thought… Autumn’s growing up now and I’m not the best at girly shit… being a typical mom y’know…and I thought maybe Cinder would be a good second mom-figure to her? And it’s not like Weiss would just magically show up with our eldest daughter telling me she still loves me after all these years, despite everything that happened! No matter how much I want that to be the case, hell, she moved back to her home country just to never see my face again! God… I can’t even begin how it affected Violet… our twins don’t even know they have a twin! Talk about the worst parents of the century…”
“Yeah… I I ain’t gonna sugarcoat it, you two did fuck up real bad but… I can’t decide for ya, little sis, but I’ll be there for you both,” Yang gives her a small smile, “...Do you still love her though, Weiss, I mean?”
Ruby gives an empty laugh, “I doubt I’d ever love anyone else as much as I love her… but I need to move on… for Autumn’s sake…” before walking away. Yang watches her little sister go for a good moment before shaking her head. “...Wish I could do something to help ya both,” Yang mumbles sadly before heading back too.
—
Okay, so, she just got here. Camp Walden for girls and it was a great start to this vacation in the first five minutes before her duffel bag got buried under heaps of other bags far heavier than anything she could even carry. “Urgh! Maybe I should accept that offer Aunt Yang said, training and all that, my weak nerd arms,” she sighs dejectedly.
“You’re obviously new here,” a voice from behind her says and when she turns around it was a girl with long, black hair.
Autumn could only snort, “Yeah? How’d you figure it out?”
“Well, you didn’t immediately grab your bags before those apes started throwing it,” The girl says with an amused smirk, “Name’s Nat, you?”
“You can call me Autumn, now… could you please help me?” she says, playfully rolling her eyes earning a chuckle from Nat. The pair proceeded to tug on her duffel but even with the power of two twelve year olds, it was still much too heavy for the both of them, “Urgh! This is hopeless!” Autumn side dejectedly until they see another girl with long, fiery red hair easily pulling her bag out with a surprising show of strength. She couldn’t help but whistle, “Now that’s a girl I’d love to get to know,” she says in amazement before calling her attention, “Hey you!”
The girl turns around to face them and Autumn beckons her closer, “Yes? May I help you?” she said with a tilt of her head, very politely.
Autumn couldn’t help but smile widely, “Actually, you can! If you don’t mind that is! I’m Autumn and this is Nat and I couldn’t help but notice how strong you were so I was wondering if you could help me grab my bag!”
“Oh!” the girl smiles, “Okay, that’s no problem,” and she proceeds to tug it, in a swift motion she’d already gotten the duffel from beneath that heavy pile, “Here you go! Name’s Juniper, by the way!”
“Thanks Juniper—” but she got cut off as the camp director started making announcements.
“Okay! Here are your cabin assignments!” she did a roll call until her name was called, “Autumn Rose! You’ll be in Cabin Arapajo!” she called. Nat and Juniper gave her simultaneous pats on the back, “That’s our cabin too!” The pair grins and her excitement is now back to its original levels.
And Aunt Yang was worried she wouldn’t be able to immediately make friends, oh boy! She was gonna tell her!
“Yes! I can tell this is gonna be an awesome summer!” the three of them began walking to where their cabin was. Spirits high, she only vaguely saw a limousine coming along their way before she shrugs her shoulders and minded her own business. She spent the entire way talking with her new friends.
—
“Here we are, young miss!” Klein says cheerfully as he opens the door for her, she stares at the place she’ll be staying for the next two months and takes in the sights of kids her age running around and having fun. Something she’d never experienced in their own home. Something in her gut told her it was going to be a magnificent summer.
“Thank you for taking me here, Klein, I really appreciate it,” she gives the man a warm smile as he brings out her luggage.
“It is of no consequence, Little Snowflake, I would always be happy to assist you in any way!” he chuckles before pulling out a small notebook, “Now for a rundown of your mother’s list of reminders!” She smiles and nods as Klein begins to state each one, “Vitamins?”
“Check!”
“Minerals?”
“Check!”
“List of daily fruits and vegetables,” at this the man playfully raises a brow and she giggles.
“Check and Check, I wouldn’t forget that, Klein,”
“Splendid!” He crossed another one off the list before continuing, “Sunblock, Lip balm, insect repellent, stationeries and other daily necessities?”
“All in order!”
“Important Family pictures?”
“I’d especially never forget those!”
“And that seems to be everything in the list!” Klein says cheerfully, placing the notebook back in his pocket, “and before I forget, this is from your grandmother, a new spanking deck of cards, maybe you might even find somebody on this continent who can whip your tush at poker,”
She could only playfully roll her eyes, “Well I highly doubt it,” she says smugly, “Thank you again for bringing me here, Klein,” she opens her arms, giving the stout man a hug.
“Enjoy your summer, little snowflake, make good friends and better memories,” Klein says, hugging her just as tightly, “if you miss us in anyway, we’re just a call away,”
She laughs, “It’s just going to be for eight weeks! You lot worry so much!” she replies.
“Well, you know how your mother can be,” he replies before pulling away, “I’ll see you in eight weeks,” They took a picture together before Klein went back inside the limousine. She waved goodbye as the vehicle began driving off and once she couldn’t see the car anymore, she grabbed her luggage and began her walk.
Cabin Navajo? She just hopes she’d be able to make some friends!
—
As expected, a camp filled with excitable young girls would be chaotic. From the mess halls, every single area was filled with kids her age having the time of their lives and it was awesome and Autumn was having a blast.
As much fun as it was to hang out with Mom and Aunt Yang, they’ve always told her that they weren’t as young as they used to. They couldn’t keep up with Autumn’s energy so she was left running around their land just to tire herself out or going to her plentiful classes just so her energy levels would wane down a little bit.
But here? She was doing so many activities! Kayaking, Rock Climbing, Archery and right now, she’s fencing, cooler still, she hasn’t lost a match!
“Excellent form, Autumn!” their councilor said with a clap of excitement as the match ended, “Good job, kids!” the lady grabs her hand, “the winner and undefeated, Miss Autumn from Napa, California!” the other kids clapped their hands and she could only rub the back of her neck sheepishly, “Okay, any challengers! Girls! There’s no damsels in distress here!”
She walks towards her friends, removing the foil mask to drink from her water bottle, she vaguely hears someone agree but she was too busy talking with Juniper and Nat so when the councilor called her attention so she hastily placed the foil mask back on her head again and began to walk in the middle of their stage. All she saw was a girl around her height wearing the same outfit as her and then their battle commenced.
It was intense! Neither side gave in, she had to hand it to this girl, she was good. Jumping over places, keeping her attacks steady. Until the moment where she jokingly yawned mid match and she felt a vein pop on her. Good… but annoying, was Autumn’s only thought.
She climbed up the wooden staircase to get the height advantage but the girl dodged, sidestepping gracefully until she got between a railing. With a powerful pressure, the girl pushed her and she fell behind a trough filled with water.
“Oh no!” her opponent says, “I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to do that!” she sounded sincere but Autumn was too ticked to let it go, “Here, let me help you!” the girl extended her hand and she smirked beneath the helmet.
“No, let me help you!” she tugged swiftly, pulling the girl until she fell face first into the water.
“What did you do that for!?” The girl shrieks, hastily standing up.
“You went first! You pushed me in!”
“I did no such thing!”
“Alright—!” the counselor cut them both off in their arguing, “Miss Violet from London! We have the new champion!”
She glared from beneath her foil mask as she slowly removed it. Turning her back around, refusing to acknowledge this rude, prissy princess’ win!
“Now, girls, come on, be good sports! Shake hands,” the counselor says and she just rolled her eyes, “Violet, Autumn, shake!”
Internally groaning, they simultaneously turned around and faced each other. The moment their faces met, their eyes widened.
“Oh my god… clones,” she hears Nat mutter in amazement from behind her and if the girl was anything other than an annoying princess, she probably would’ve agreed. Everyone was still stunned but the pair of them ignored everyone else. Reluctantly, Autumn stretched out her hand to shake the other’s but the moment it met, there was a jolt of electricity running down her spine.
It seemed like the girl felt the same thing because she looked at Autumn baffled at the turn of events. They both hastily pull away from each other, both unwilling to look each other in the eye.
“Oh god they look so alike,” another camper says and she really couldn’t handle the attention anymore. It seemed like the counselor noticed her discomfort so she ushered the group of bystanders away.
“Why’s everyone staring?” she mumbles out loud, scratching the back of her neck.
“Don’t you see it?” the girl says, with her posh brit accent.
“See what?”
“The resemblance between us?” she says, eyes looking every bit worried still. So… it was a jerk move but… she decided to mess with her.
“Resemblance?” she starts to smirk, “Between you and me?” The girl just nods earnestly. This made her smile a bit bigger, “Hmm… let me see, turn sideways,”
The girl sighs but does it anyway. Autumn’s smile gets a bit bigger, “Now the other way,” again, the girl does it no question but with an accompanied sigh and eye roll.
“Well, your eyes are much closer together than mine,” she began and the girl looked at her clearly offended, “your ears? Well, don’t worry, you’ll grow into them,” that got a laugh from Nat and Juniper, “Your teeth are…a little crooked, and your nose!” the girl instinctively moves her hand to ever so slowly grab it, “Well, not a problem, those can be fixed, dear,” she says haughtily.
“Want me to deck her for you!?” another girl behind this one, Violet, must be one of her friends, exclaimed.
“Hold on! I’m not finished yet,” she grins, “Want to know the real difference between us?”
But before she could continue, the girl cut her off, “Oh, is it because I know how to fence and you don’t?” nose slightly upturned, “Or is it because I have class and you don’t”
Her nostrils flared and instinctively she closed her fist, ready to strike, “Why I oughta—”
That was her first encounter with Violet Amethyst Schnee and it certainly wasn’t the last.
—
The second time they clashed was through a secret poker night. A group of girls on a table threw what they wanted to bet and before long, there was a pile of random objects ranging from nail polish, half a pair of earrings, friendship bracelets and a couple of different bills from all over the world, mostly still in US dollars.
“Sorry ladies, two pairs, read ‘em and weep,” she chuckles as places her cards down the table and her opponent groans as Violet picks up her winnings. It had been a good night of raking in her prizes. Well, considering she grew up in an environment filled with business people, she grew up playing the bloody game, so she had to be good at it.
It was going great. Up until her uncouth look alike came in wearing a black leather jacket and sunglasses. Who wears sunglasses at night!?
“I’ll take a whack at it,” Autumn smirks before slamming down at least fifty dollars worth in cash, “Deal me in… unless you’re too… chicken,”
A chorus of ‘OOOOOHs’ erupted from the crowd and she just smirks back. She was going to teach this girl what it means to challenge her in her game. So Violet began shuffling their cards and distributed hers and her opponent’s.
The moment she saw what she got, her smile grew cockier. She wasn’t about to go down with a deck this good.
“Wanna make it more interesting, Schnee?” Autumn says with a confident smirk.
“Sure, I’d love to put you in your place,” she snarks back with an equally smug grin.
“Alright then, how about…loser… has to jump in the lake,”
“Excellent,” she replies just as sassily.
Autumn looked more devious by the second, but apparently, she wasn’t done with her challenge, “Butt… Naked,”
Her smile just got a little bit wider, “Even more excellent, start unzipping, Rose,” as she placed her cards down the table, “Straight, Diamonds,”
Her smile fell right after Autumn's smirk hadn’t wavered.
Oh no…
“You’re good, Schnee,” the other girl shakes her head, “Not good enough though, in your honor, a royal flush,” Her face fell as she gaped at the cards laid down in front of her, “Enjoy your dip, princess,”
Oh, she really didn’t like her. She hated her more after they stole her clothes after she jumped in the cold, dark lake waters.
This was war. Prepare yourself, Rose, no one messes with a Schnee.
—
How did they end up in the isolation cabin for the remaining four weeks in camp?
Well… it started when Prissy Schnee managed to grab a bunch of girls to place their beds on the roof of their cabin and they retaliated by… Well, in hindsight, it was a bit overkill. Involving feathers, whipped cream, motor oil and a bucket full of chocolate… that ended up being poured on the director’s head.
Now she was stuck in one small cabin with the worst girl in camp, doing menial tasks like cleaning floors or taking down the flags when there was literally a storm going on. A small space far away from the other girls having fun.
They really started to bond once the storm had begun and the pictures of her family she’d posted on the wall went flying all over the place courtesy of the strong winds and the girl had helped her push the stuck wooden window close.
“Thanks,” Autumn smiles and for once there was no sarcasm or anything bad laced in the other girl’s beam.
“No problem,” Violet responds, “Did… did any of your pictures get ruined?”
She bends over to pick them all up and the other girl proceeds to help her, upon further inspection, she smiles and answers, “Nope! They’re all okay!”
Violet nods, “That’s good,” then the other girl’s eyes land on a picture, “Who’s this?”
Autumn gives her a soft smile as Violet handed her a photo, “That’s my mom, she’s kinda like… my best friend we do everything together, that’s our house behind, we live in a vineyard, that porch there overlooks the whole place and sunsets there are so pretty, the only reason why her back is turned in the picture is cause I was being sneaky and took it without her knowing,” Violet gives her a polite smile before standing up and rubbing her arms, “what’s up? You okay?”
“Ah yes, I just felt chilly all of a sudden,” she goes back to her bed and places a blanket over her.
“Well, if it’s cold then I have the perfect snack to munch on,” she grins, opening her bag and pulling out a container filled with chocolate chips cookies, “and boom, the best thing made by mankind,”
“Chocolate chip cookies?” the girl asks with a beam, “I love those too! At home, I eat them by dipping them in strawberry jam,”
Autumn's eyes widened before her smile turned into a giant, eager grin, “Oh man! Me too!” she replies, pulling out a jar of their homemade jam. “Even though they all say it’s—”
“Disgusting?” Violet finished with a head tilt and soft laughter.
“You get me! You really get me!” Autumn practically jumped on Violet’s bed as she opened the jar of jam and handed the other girl a cookie. Whilst eating, they began talking more.
“How about you? What’s your family like?” Autumn asked as she shoves cookie after cookie in her mouth.
“Oh well… I have two moms but… they got divorced when I was a baby,” Violet says sadly, “I never met my other mom and it’s been my dream to see her one day… other than that I stay with my grandmother, my aunt, my uncle and our butler, sometimes mom’s best friend is there and I also treat her like my aunt,”
“Woah— a butler!? Are you guys like… rich-rich!?”
“Aren’t you too?” Violet asked but the other girl just shrugged, “Anyway, how about you? What’s your family like?”
She didn’t even have to ponder, she just wiped the crumbs of her face and began listing them down, “Well… there’s Mom, as you saw in the picture, Mom’s sister, My Aunt Yang, there’s Grandpa Tai, Grandma Summer, Grunkle Qrow and Graunty Raven though the four of them don’t really live with us… so really it’s just Mom, Aunt Yang… oh! And our dog, Zwei! He’s this adorable corgi, oh man, hold on, I’m gonna show you a picture!”
Violet couldn’t help but be curious, “...you don’t have a dad?”
“Hmm? Nope!” Autumn says, “Funny enough, I actually have two moms too but… I haven’t really met my other mom either… she left when I was a baby too…”
The gears in Violet’s head started turning.
“Aww… I can’t find a picture—” and her dejection quickly became replaced by glee as they heard the sound of the lunch bell, “Sweet! Food! Come on Vi! Let’s go get some grub,” the other girl proceeded to leave their cabin.
But her head was already going a mile a minute, “Hold on— Wait!” she called Autumn who looked at her with a raised brow.
“They’re gonna run out of dessert if we stay too long,” the girl argues and Violet couldn’t help but look at her in exasperation.
“Will you stop thinking about your stomach at a time like this! Don’t you realize what’s happening!?” she says, pulling the girl back inside the cabin and closing the door, “When’s your birthday?”
“...October eleven…?” Autumn says, looking quite unsure, “Why? What’s happening?”
“...My birthday is the eleventh of October too…” she mumbles and both girls widen their eyes, “let’s review… our birthdays are the same, we have the same face…”
“...We like the same food… we don’t have dads, just moms…” Autumn continues, “...it’s just a coincidence… right?”
“Well… I have a picture of my other mom… we can try confirming it…?” Violet asked uneasily.
“...This picture of yours… is it like… half ripped… or something…? It can’t be… right?” Autumn chuckles nervously and when Violet didn’t laugh, only getting paler than her usual color was, they both went to their luggages and scoured their belongings.
Simultaneously, they picked up the photograph of destiny before facing each other.
“...This is my only picture of my other mom… Mama let me have it after I saw it once and I begged her if I could have it…” Violet explained and Autumn gulps.
“I found mine hidden in mom’s sock drawer… I haven’t told her that I took it… I just wanted to have some connection with my other mom, ya know?” she says shakily, “So… how do you want to do this…?”
“...I think… I think it’s best if we just… rip the bandaid and show it together simultaneously, “on three…”
They counted and when the last number had come goosebumps erupted on their spines as they stared at the finally complete photo of the couple.
“...That’s my mom… Ruby Rose,” Autumn says in amazement.
“And that’s Mama… Weiss Schnee…” Violet says tearing up.
Autumn turns to look at her with eyes filled with happiness, “...your mom is my mom… and my mom is yours… so… we’re like… sisters… right?”
Violet couldn’t fight the happy tears falling on the sides of her face, “No, dolt! We’re not just sisters, we’re twins!”
Her sister’s face lay frozen in a giant grin, “Twins…” she mumbles, “I’m a… twin—” her eyes roll to the back of her head and she faints in happiness.
“Autumn!?”
