It was a calm day. The fall breeze was settling in and it was getting cooler. And the leaves are falling
Two children sit inside their shared bedroom. Their toys are organized and they seemed to have a bunch of Lego blocks set as buildings.
The young boy begins to narrate. “It seems like a peaceful day in lively Osaka. Mr. Cuddles is pouring his tea and getting ready to relax. Then all of the sudden.. he hears loud footsteps…”
He begins to make sounds to reminiscent of a giant’s footsteps. “Boom.. boom! BOOM! BOOOM!”
The girl makes a exaggerated sound of fear as a reaction the the footsteps
“What happens next Sunny?!”
Sunny grinned. “Mr Cuddles freezes up. It couldn’t be… oh no it’s…”
Sunny grabs the Godzilla figurine and slams him on the floor
“IT’S GODZILLA!!!”
“Godzilla lets out his mighty roar! RRRRRAAAHHHHHH!!!!”
Mari grabs the pink plushie. “Mrs. Cuddles is very scared. She turns to her husband and shouts. OH MY LOVE WHAT DO WE DO NOW!”
Sunny grinned as it was his turn to now chime in.
“Don’t worry honey! I can bring this ugly beast down!”
And so Mr. Cuddles boarded the little plane toy and Sunny begin to make it fly around Godzilla.
“Godzilla becomes annoyed at this little jet. He already dealt with them a lot when he attacked other cities. As he tries to swing. Mr. Cuddles is very confident.”
“DEATH TO YOU UNGODLY BEAST!”
Sunny makes a little projectile come out of the fighter jet toy. He makes a “swooooosshhh” noise to make it seem like it was on a direct course for Godzilla.
Sunny does a fake gasp. “Oh no! The missile didn’t do anything! What do I do now!”
Mari then proceeds to make her cue
“Oh what is that sound? It’s the sound of something flying.. something so colorful and elegant!”
She then makes the reveal. “IT’S MOTHRA! THE ONE AND ONLY QUEEN!” Mari does a bit of growling sounds to represent Mothra being angry.
“Godzilla turns to face one of enemies. Mothra had become a nuisance. Why couldn’t she leave him alone!”
Mari and Sunny grab the figurines and they both shout in unison.
“It’s time for them to clash!”
Mari and Sunny make the Godzilla and Mothra figurines fight. With them ramming each other and making noises to mimic the slams and roaring.
Sunny grins again.
“Oh what’s that? Godzilla’s dorsal plates are lighting up! Mothra better move out of the way!!”
“And so it happens… GODZILLA UNLEASHES HIS MIGHTY ATOMIC BREATH!”
Sunny does an exaggerated exhale. But Mari had a trick up her sleeve
“Mothra quickly dodges it with her reflexes! The atomic breath only did damage to buildings!”
“OH NOO.. Godzilla had missed his attack! As a result he roars in a fit of rage.”
Mari then gave a mischievous grin.
“Mothra lands a couple of attacks on Godzilla. She proceeds to flank him and grab his tail!!”
Sunny gasps. Once Mothra grips the tail. It’s over. It’s a canon event from the movie.
“Godzilla falls to the ground. And Mothra proceeds to drag him across Osaka.”
“As Godzilla groans in annoyance. He attempts t-“
Mari and Sunny’s parents open the door. They smile at the sight of them playing. All while hugging each other
“I’m sorry my lovelies. But dinner is ready. So come down and eat!” Welp. Mom says it’s dinner time.
“You two can play later. Also I’ve got good news.”
Mari wants to know immediately. “What is it daddy?!”
He smiles as he announces. “Your aunt got back from Japan. She bought the Godzilla movies that were released there. Meaning that you won’t have to wait until it’s dubbed.”
Sunny and Mari are excited about that. They couldn’t understand why they couldn’t get enough Godzilla movies here in America. And the lack of Godzilla media makes them all sad. As they want to see him and other Kaiju in action.
Mari and Sunny’s parents exchange a little kiss as they walk out of the room. With Mari and Sunny following
