"JUST a motorcycle?" Scarlet raises an eyebrow as she stares at Vodka, whose unimpressed stare in turn wasn't dulled at all by the dim lamplight. It was a valid question! The motorcycle worked, sure, but it was JUST a motorcycle! Fit enough for one person to sit one, sure, but two?
"Sidecars are lame." Vodka rolls her eyes, as if this would have been obvious to anybody, instead of just idiots who swapped their brains with exhaust pipes. "Just get on behind me and hold on tight."
Scarlet didn't want to do that, and so she trots uncertainly on the sidewalk, eyeing the path that leads back up to the academy where she could maybe chance the terrible sleep instead of going on this deathride. Not that she thought Vodka would intentionally drop her. It was way likelier that Vodka's overestimated the length of the seat and that she'd be seven lengths down the road before realizing she'd dropped Scarlet on her butt because she was driving too fast.
Vodka rolls her eyes, and Scarlet got a terribly uncanny feeling that they both already knew what she was thinking. "Look, it'll go faster if you stop bellyaching!"
