    When Stefan had first noticed the guitar pin on Colin’s blazer, he had assumed that it was just there to represent his love of music. One of his and Colin’s first conversations had been about music, after all. And Colin had been eager to enforce his music taste onto Stefan.

    All this meant he had never assumed that Colin actually played the guitar. But it was on the twelfth of September when he had learned that his assumptions were all wrong.
