"Yes. I've heard it can be quite good at testing one's IQ and EQ, and I thought a game might boost everyone's spirits a bit."
Light stared at him silently. Nothing in his expression suggested he was joking.
"That sounds fun!" Misa exclaimed, leading Light to make a face. He'd have to do it now, she'd beg him to play until his head exploded otherwise.
"I'll let everyone know. Eee, this is gonna be so fun!"
Dead: Chief Yagami
Reporter: Matsuda
Mogi: where
Matsuda: idk the names of places…
Matsuda: it had the card thingy?
Mogi: admin
Mogi: see anyone around?
Light: Misa stop following me
Misa: But I have to protect you! >¦p
Matsuda: no..
Mogi: none sus, skip
[Mogi has voted]
Ryuzaki: if Yagami-kun is an imposter, he'll be unable to kill anyone as long as you're following him, Misa.
Misa: But he's not an imposter!!!
Light: How do you type so fast Ryuzaki?
Ryuzaki: I can type 200 words per minute.
Mogi: vote faster then
Aizawa: think its Mogi
Matsuda: y????
Aizawa: wants us to vote really fast
Aizawa: less time to think
Light: Mogi, where were you at before the body was found?
Mogi: elec
Ryuzaki: Is there not a vent in both electrical and admin, which is where the body was found?
Matsuda: rlly?
Aizawa: you didnt know?
Matsuda: no…
Aizawa: dude youre gonna get killed

Misa: come watch me do my tasks K?
Light: okay…
Mogi: am I cleared? Can we skip or something?
Ryuzaki: You are not cleared. But for lack of evidence we'll skip for now.
Light: Do you have any visual tasks left?
Mogi: ya
Ryuzaki: Then I ask that Matsuda-San follows you to see them get done.
Matsuda: I don't rlly understand y me, but ok!
Ryuzaki: it's settled then.

Results: No one was ejected. (Skipped) Two imposters remain.
Light had already finished his tasks in the previous round, so he really had nothing better to do than follow Misa into the storage room, watching her stand on the pad and waiting for something to happen.
Waiting.
Waiting.
She stepped off and ran around him in the shape of a heart. Nothing.
Misa was an imposter.
He made a beeline for the cafeteria but only made it to the admin door when an emergency meeting was called.
Emergency Meeting called by Matsuda
Dead: Mogi, Chief Yagami
Matsuda: Mogis safe! Watched him do a medical thingy
Matsuda: Nothing else to report! :)
Aizawa: Mogi is dead, Matsuda
Light: Misa is an imposter
Light: She had me watch her do trash but there was nothing
Misa: waaaaaaa >_< that's cheating
Light: you shouldn't have asked me to watch you do a task if you didn't have one!
Misa: it was supposed to be…
Misa: an intimate secret between us… -////-
Aizawa: ?!??!?
Ryuzaki: One thing at a time please.
Ryuzaki: Matsuda-san, you saw Mogi scan?
Matsuda: Yeah! I called the meeting 2 tell u he's safe
Ryuzaki: Medbay is the closest to the cafeteria outside of admin.
Ryuzaki: the imposter must've moved quickly if Mogi-San was killed in the time between you leaving and calling the meeting.
Ryuzaki: Did you see anyone outside of medbay when you left?
Matsuda: um……
Matsuda: yes! I think.
Ryuzaki: What color was it?
Matsuda: I can't remember…
Ryuzaki: Let me know if you recall at any point. Moving on, Light, you said Misa is an imposter?
Light: Yes! She basically just admitted it further up!
Misa: You're bad at keeping secrets Light -3-
[Light voted]
Ryuzaki: That's true. But she also said it was supposed to be a secret between you two. It's possible that you're also an imposter and you're just trying to throw the scent off.
Light: Not this again
Light: I'm not an imposter, just like I'm not kira.
Ryuzaki: ....
Ryuzaki: No comment.
[Ryuzaki voted]
Matsuda: plan?
Ryuzaki: Vote for Misa this time. I'll follow Light, and if I die he's an imposter.
Aizawa: done with your tasks already sir?
Ryuzaki: Of course. They're child's play.
Aizawa: I mean this is a kids game

Misa: no fairrrr Q_Q
Ryuzaki: Misa, please vote so that we can continue with the game.
Misa: no -3-
Misa: I don't want to ¦P
Light: Please Misa? I really want to keep playing.
Misa: ugu…… that's cheating.
Misa: But I'll forgive you this time <3
[Misa voted]
Results: Misa was an imposter. (five votes) One imposter remains.
So L was following him now. Lovely. He didn't have any tasks left to do, so he went to the security room and sat in front of the cameras. Maybe L would get bored then and leave him alone, but with each passing minute that seemed less likely. In fact, glancing up from the phone screen revealed that the man wasn't even looking at the screen, and was just staring directly at him.
"It might be good to pay attention to the game, you know."
"No talking Light-kun. It's part of the game."
He did his best not to scowl.
He watched Matsuda's little green crewmate walk past on the cameras, raised an eyebrow when he returned and entered the room, and the next thing his screen showed was an animation of a crewmate taking out a gun and shooting him in the back of the head.
Defeat.
" Matsuda!? "
"He used his perceived incompetence as cover… very smart."
Then, back to the loading area.
Matsuda: that was fun!
Chief Yagami: I just wish I hadn't been killed off so quickly.
Mogi: start
Aizawa: Can't believe it was Matsuda
Ryuzaki: Matsuda, have you played this before?
Matsuda: ummmmm
Matsuda: trade secret :P
Light: that was really impressive though
Matsuda: thank you!
Matsuda: I actually self reported by mistake in the first one 😅
Misa: ehhhhh???
Misa: you played it off so well!!
Light wanted to kick himself. How did he manage to get duped by Matsuda of all people?!
"Let's play again. I find this game interesting."
