"Didn't you and Beomgyu hyung have Yeonjun hyung teach you how to fuck or something?"
"NO!" Kai gets out in a raspy voice. Someone is slapping his back in assistance and Kai peeks to see his best friend of over a decade, Beomgyu, blushing as bright as a stop sign.
"I taught them how to kiss," Yeonjun corrects nonchalantly. He takes the bottle from Taehyun and gulps down enough for two shots. He's just as unphased by the burning down his throat as he is by the sudden attention.
It doesn't surprise Kai at all. It's how he always was and it was exactly why he understood Beomgyu's massive crush on the older when they were in high school.
Granted, that crush never really went away. Only difference is that Kai was another sailor of that same boat.
With the exception of another boat he was trapped on, but who was he to unpack such feelings responsibly?
Years ago, Kai watched Yeonjun and Beomgyu make out. It awakens something in him, but he buries it along with his feelings.
Now though, it seems like the two want to dig it back up to make room for something more.
