“What.. is that..?” Banana thought, right after they looked up to the ceiling with a fumble face, adjusting their sunglasses not believing in what they’re seeing.
A blank void screen that’s floating in the air, above all of them, with simple words ‘ Live in [2 WEEKS] ’ in plain white. What does that mean? Why and when did this start to appear? Many questions start to flow Banana’s mind, until someone taps on his shoulder. “You... ok there Banana? You don’t look so good just now..” Olive said, worried about them. “Ah–- y yeah I’m fine, sorry about that.” they reply, putting their mind on other things for now, since they and their crew are about to go into the actual imposter's den afterall.
“All well ready to meet your colleagues again?” the old imposter that helps them both ask before they open the lock door. “Yeah, I think so, hope we or anyone doesn't die..!” Olive replies with an optimistic view, making the elder chuckled in a soft look, at least how Olive sees them as.
But they don't see the truth like Bananas do. They're really skeptical about the elderly, not even knowing why they do, maybe their glasses are doing something again . They brush it off and walk into the open door, followed by Olive, trying to cling onto Banana’s back as the door closes behind them, making the room darker than it was, a lot, actually. Banana doesn't really seem to know the difference since they could still walk forward as Olive is gripping onto them for their dear life, "H-Hey! Slow down I can't catched up!" Olive whisperly shouts as they fumble with their hands trying to find Banana’s.
"Can't you just follow me and not cling on like your life depends on it?" "Bro how do I do that when it's just pitch black!" "It's not- whatever," they said as they continued, they saw many red eyes looking at them from afar, it seemed to be closer every time they took their eyes off of it.
The darkness got cleared after some while as they finally enters the Hideout, it's full of imposter everywhere , the walls, the ceiling, even floors that seem to be damaged from above, seems like not many care about them as they all went back to what they're doing after giving both crews some glance across the room, so they continue. “Banana!?” Banana flinched as someone shouted their name from the distance, as they looked in the direction, they saw a familiar face running closer to them. “Grey? Grey! You’re still alive thank god—" "SHHSHShshhhhhh we’ll talk about that later, come on before we’ll be the center of attraction.” Grey said worryingly as they led the other two to a corner with a broken vending machine as a makeshift door, Grey slit it aside to form a gap for them to squeeze in, Olive had some trouble with it but they all helped them out, as Grey slid the machine back.
“Olive! Banana!” Coral said as they got up from the ground that they were sitting and rushed to both of them for a hug. “How did you get here? Where’s Teal?” “They’re up there with the scientists, said about watching over something,” Olive said as Banana continued the sentence, “the scientists actually sent us down here to find those flowers, but we got instantly caught before we got help from an old imposter.”
“Old imposter?” Asked Coral, they seemed deep into their own thoughts until they asked, “Are their suits a dark slate color?” “Yes, why?” Coral sigh in suspense as they narrowing their eye “They also helped us out and send us here, I’d not know what that old hag is thinking..” they said in their breath as they're deep in their thoughts again.
"Well now, let's put that aside! What did you get from them? Do yours also have abilities?" Rose rises up as they turn to look at Banana and Olive, "What did I.. what?" Olive asked, before they could progress the question, they felt something on their head moving, slithering down to their visor, making them jump and yelping out loud, panicking, everyone looked at them worried and some were terrified at what's on Olive's head. "OK OK CAlm down man you're fine," Rose shouted as they stepped closer to Olive as they tried to calm them down, it seems that Olive couldn't really take the 'banana peel' off of their head, "Breathe, yeah that's it, yeah," Rose continue to calm down both Olive and the thing on their heard, it seems to try and calm Olive down, too. After Olive finally has the courage to look up, it turns out that the banana peel on their head seems to tear off a mouth and is alive. It doesn't seem like it's out for blood, but it sure doesn't want to move from Olive's head.
"Hey, look at the bright side, we also have a parasite pet," Grey said as they comes up to Olive and Rose with Maroon and point at their own scarf, it seem to slowly gain movement on its own and one of the scarfs end seem to start tearing off, forming a face with one eye, 'You could've says companion, I'm not a pesky pet like that piece of garbage!' The scarf said, making both Olive, Banana, and the parasite on Olive's head jump, "Oh come on, what's the difference?" Grey asked in a calm joking tone as the scarf snapped its face to face them 'That grating thing can't talk or think, even eat on its own! It would've died in that item box if you hadn't picked it up!' The scarf said as it pointed the other end of the scarf to Olive, seemingly to make it its hand.
"Now now, can we just discuss this later? We've more things to do," Coral said as they looked at Banana, "Now that we know Olive's, what do the glasses do? I supposed it's not ordinary if the elder gave it to you." Banana stuttered their own word for a second before answering, "I can see in the dark apparently, don't really know if I could see more things, but I felt like my senses are all a bit sharpen, too," They paused, wanting to tell the others about the weird black box with a timer next, but they got cut out by Coral themselves. "Very good! We all got pretty good luck huh," They said as their green horns grew bigger and their hands got a green-ish hard shell strike on it, almost seeming like gloves just grew out of nowhere.
"I got extra strength from this horn of mine, never knew about it until we had to run from the imposter the second time," "The second time?" Banana asked but didn't expect an answer, "And I got a turtle shell-!" Maroon said as they retracted their arms and legs into themselves, making the bear trap increase in size and chopped them whole, they look like they're just a cylinder shaped like a metal ball now, "Cool right?" They said joyfully as their head peaked out of the maw, making it go back to the shape it was before. "What did Rose get?" Banana asked as they pointed at them.
"Oh I got this little fucker!" Rose said as they pointed both of their hands at the flamingo floaty on their head, then suddenly its beak ajar as the eyes got more bloodshot, snapping its beak obstreperously in every direction, giving Olive a frighten as Banana just stared at it in shooked. "I can control it to some degree if it's well fed, it's also a carnivore so a lot of meat that we found goes to this guy," Rose continue as they tried to pat its head, then it lowered its head to Rose's visor level, its neck is visibly longer than it should, giving Banana uncanny vibe.
It might be a problem later, but for now, it's useful. Banana tried to convince themselves, and they know their guts are never wrong.
