Summary
Rey Palpatine has lived comfortably in her cushioned and polished world for her entire life without ever thinking to look elsewhere. Why should she, when her life is so meticulously handled by her grandfather until the day it will be handled by her husband?
That is until the Bethlehem Asylum casts a dark shadow over her perfect life.
Tales of inhuman conditions, raging madmen, and sickening medical treatments are all slowly revealed to be true, leaving Rey to feel like the one slowly going mad as those around her seem indifferent to the dark fate of those forever locked away behind Bedlam's doors.
But there are even darker secrets the deranged asylum holds within its haunted walls. And Rey is soon thrown under the scrutiny of the cruel Asylum Master, who is intent on keeping her quiet as she begins to gain the confidence to expose him for what he is.
