   Summary

Junpei's journey of finding Akane after she left him and the rest of his friends behind at that replica of the Gigantic didn't turn out to be as easy as he was imagining.

This is a short story for 999 Week, to bridge the gap between 999 and VLR for Junpei. Enjoy.

[You don't have to have played VLR to enjoy this story, as this has essentially zero spoilers for it, though it has some references to ZTD.]
