LUCY’S APARTMENT... IT’S BEEN A EVENTFUL DAY...
Unlocking the front door with her keys; Lucy opened the door to her apartment and entered inside, with Tim following her inside.
He closed the door behind them as Lucy walked forward and put her bag down.
She turned around to see Tim heading towards her and he knew what she needed right now.
Bringing in her closer as she was about to tear up; Tim wrapped his arms around his girlfriend - as she did the same to him - and kissed her forehead.
Today was a tough one. Really tough.
And right now; Lucy needed a hug and deep down; Tim needed one too, he just wouldn’t admit it.
He was remaining strong, putting on a brave face for Lucy.
They soon broke apart, with Tim gently stroking her cheek.
“I’m uh... gonna go have a shower. I need it after today.” Lucy finally said.
“Ok.” Tim replied, giving her a small reassuring smile.
She nodded at him, before heading towards the bathroom as Tim watched.
He could tell that Lucy looked almost defeated and exhausted.
Closing the door; Lucy proceeded to remove all of her clothes, stepped inside her shower and closed the shower curtain behind her.
Turning it on; Lucy looked up and closed her eyes as the hot water began pouring over her.
In that one moment; Lucy felt some calm and peace as the water hit her.
She sighed in relief as the water washed over her and created a pool of water around her feet.
Lucy ran her hands through her wait hair, before flipping it backwards and continued running her hands through it from the back.
She soon stopped and pressed her arms forward, holding onto the wall with her hands as she continued showering.
She closed her eyes and lowered her head - sighing again but not out of relief.
This was more panicking out of worry, than anything.
“Just breathe. Just breathe. Just breathe.” She told herself.
Lucy couldn’t help it, though.
She slowly shakes her head and begins tearing up, finally letting it out.
Today was terrifying. The past day or two has been hell for everyone at Mid-Wilshire.
Aaron and Celina were attacked by men wearing demon masks, with Aaron being shot.
Later on at night; one masked individual attacked Nolan and Bailey at their house but they managed to subdue him, soon learning his name when Lucy, Tim and Grey showed up at his house.
Around that same time; more masked men wearing the same demon masks kidnapped Nyla and James’ baby daughter; Leah - from her crib, before leaving her outside their house as they drove away.
This all eventually lead to Roy Gracco; a criminal who had been arrested for a felony by the Mid-Wilshire station in the past. But it ended up being a trap, as Gracco was found dead and his house was booby trapped, intending to kill everyone from the station that was part of the raid.
This left the team even more puzzled, with Grey suggesting they going through Gracco’s contacts.
In the meantime; Angela gave birth to her and Wesley’s second child; a daughter. That was at least some good news to come out of all of this.
Everyone at Mid-Widshire needed it after all.
Going through Gracco’s prison encounters, eventually lead Tim and Lucy to visiting Luke Moran, who was arrested by Lopez and Jackson a few years ago for elder abuse, hence his motive and hated towards the Mid-Wilshire Station.
Visiting Luke Moran turned out to be another trap as Lucy and Tim were ambushed by a army of masked men, with police shields, batons and machetes.
They had Lucy and Tim cornered but thankfully Nolan and Nyla came to their rescue.
Soon after; Grey and more reinforcements came, with Lucy, Tim, Nolan and Grey catching up to Moran but he didn’t come quietly.
He went down fighting and was killed but the fact that Nolan believes that Moran wasn’t the one pulling the strings, means that this fight was far from over.
And that worried Lucy. Knowing whoever set this whole thing up - who came after her friends and family at Mid-Wilshire - was still out there.
Today alone, completely took everything out of her, making her feel almost defeated and exhausted.
Her and Tim’s close call from earlier today, was completely terrifying.
Lucy hadn’t felt this terrified since Caleb.
It was a close call, that almost got them both killed.
And Lucy couldn’t imagine a world without Tim. Not now, after they finally started dating.
Lucy soon heard footsteps in the bathroom and immediately let go of the wall, standing up straight, wiping away her tears and turned her head to see the shower curtain being pulled backwards.
She sees Tim standing there, wearing nothing - looking at her.
He can tell that she has been crying. The look in her eyes gave it away.
Tim gave a small reassuring smile, which Lucy took as him asking if he can join her.
She nodded at him and looked back at the wall, as Tim stepped into the shower, standing behind Lucy and closed the shower curtain immediately after.
Wrapping his arms around her waist; Tim felt Lucy holding them with her hands, while he kissed her wet shoulder.
The two both let out a quiet sigh as Lucy leaned against his chest and kept his arms wrapped around her, gently rubbing his arms up and down with her thumb.
They stood there in silence as the shower washed over them, holding each other close and refusing to let go.
A LITTLE WHILE LATER...
Cuddling up together in each other’s arms in Lucy’s bed; Tim and Lucy held each other in silence for a while, as Tim gently stroke her back - which Lucy did find comforting.
Tim eventually spoke up, breaking the quietness in the room.
“Do you need anything ? Want to order in ? We can have sushi, if you want. I know you love sushi.” Tim whispers into ear.
Lucy grew a small smile at her boyfriend’s suggestion.
“I do love sushi but right now, I don’t feel like eating anything. Thank you for offering, though.” She says.
“Can I get you anything ? Anything at all ?” Tim asks her.
“Just... just be here, with me.” Lucy replied.
“Of course. Whatever you want or need, Lucy. I’m always here for you.” Tim told her.
“Thank you.” She whispered back, before laying her head comfortably into Tim’s neck.
The two held each other tighter as they remained in bed, before eventually drifting off to sleep.
