“So..... tell me about yourself...” Apo sighed softly leaning back on the passenger seat of Mile’s car.
“My life is not interesting enough to talk about,” Mile replied driving into the dark streets.
“Are you sure about that?” Apo chided, reaching out to brush his fingertips over the plain platinum band on Mile’s left hand, lying idly on his thigh. He usually drove one-handed.
“What do you want to know?” Mile asked. Apo had seen the wedding ring but Mile wasn’t trying to hide it.
“There are things I’d like to know about you...” He murmured lazily stretching like a cat, a shiver ran down Mile’s body. “But I’d rather find them out myself.... It’s more fun.”
Those little cryptic remarks. Mile didn’t know what Apo was playing at but he was definitely playing with fire.
Apo Nattawin would be the death of him, one of these days.
