Chapter Text

"So are they dating?"

"Please tell us! We won’t tell anyone else, promise."

Cam’s grip tightened on his quill, annoyed as the two Ravenclaw girls hovered over his shoulder, their shrill voices pestering him with the same question he’d heard a million times. The worst part is that he has answered the question, but no one seems to accept it as the right one.

With a huff, he looked up from his textbook. It was hard to focus already; this just made it worse. "You know what? Yes. Yes, Michael and Savannah are dating," he said, a smile on his face as he gently dismissed them, "Don’t tell them I said that, though." He added quickly. If they’d heard he said that, well…he’s done for. Their eyes widened at his response, and they quickly nodded, scurrying off in a way he found similar to his gerbils. He watched in satisfaction as they faded off and out of the library, leaving him alone in the quiet once and for all.

His gaze turned back to the transfiguration book, just seeing a bunch of gibberish as before. Every time he blinked he felt like his eyelids were on the verge of staying shut forever. The dimness of the room mixed with the fact that almost no one was there just made it worse. Maybe the girls weren’t the complete problem. He brushed it off, shutting the book closed, and stood up, making his way back to the common room. The time to study will come when it comes, and right now he wants to sleep.

As he entered the grand hall, he made his way to his usual spot. To his confusion, though, his friends weren’t there yet. It was odd for him to be the first one up.

Cam plopped down in his seat with a yawn and briefly scanned the area. He’s sure it’s nothing; they all probably slept in a little longer than usual. Michael was always staying up late for who-knows-what.

But as he grabbed a fork and was about to get a piece of the food laid out in front of him, he heard murmurs from behind him.

"Yeah, they’re totally together! The one with glasses confirmed it yesterday."

"No way! Savannah and Michael?"

He almost dropped the silverware in his hand at the mention of their names, his mind racing as he recalled the events of the night before. He didn’t know whether to be offended that those girls betrayed his trust or that he was referred to as ‘the one with glasses.’ How the hell did they find out so fast? When he said it, it was right before curfew, so how did the word spread from Ravenclaws to Gryffindors so quickly? He needed to do something. Something before they foun–

There was a clang in front of him, the plates and silverware clinking together at the impact. He was at eye level with hands placed firmly on the table, and he was a little (very) scared to look up. But he did anyway, his gaze trailing up the person’s robes to be met with a very familiar face.

"Savannah hey!" He smiled nervously, fiddling with the hem of his sleeve. "What a surprise seeing you here so late."

"What did you do?" she glared (and rudely ignored his welcome), sitting down in front of him. "People have been bothering me all morning about Michael and our nonexistent relationship."

"What did I do? What do you mean?" He asked innocently, before seeing someone approaching out of the corner of his eye, "I didn’t do anything! Kenny, tell her." He turned towards the approaching, oblivious man.

Kenny gave him a weird look, eyes darting between Cam and Savannah as he paused right next to his usual seat next to her. Kenny sat down, watching Savannah’s expression of an attempt at hidden annoyance. It was clear she wasn’t very happy right now. "Dude, what did you do? Everyone’s been asking me stupid questions all morning."

Okay, so he was no help.

She nodded at Kenny's words. "So you’re telling me the ‘kid in the hat’ that told those two girls that Michael and I were dating is not you?" Well…there was no arguing that. And he does not wear the hat that much

"I didn’t think they’d take it seriously! They were annoying me. You know me, I just say stuff, Why would they believe me of all people?" He spoke quickly, hoping she'd overlook the fact that he just admitted to it.

She held her harsh look towards him before sighing in defeat and letting her shoulders relax. "I can agree with you on that. After denying it for months, you’d think they’d give it up, or at least question it a little. Why do they care so much?"

He took a bite of the biscuit on his plate, nodding in agreement with her before waving his arm in the air dismissively. "I’ll fix it, don’t worry." She shot him a skeptical look but left it at that.

“Holy moly, you guys will not believe what just happened,” Michael approached, running a hand through his hair as he hurriedly sat down next to Cam. Speak of the devil.

“I think I have a good idea,” Savannah grumbled while Cam acted as casually as he could.

“I woke up and this group of second years just jumped at me,” He started, a freaked-out expression on his face as he gestured to Savannah across from him, “and they started talking about how you and I are dating, and the Ball coming up. I thought they were finally over all that.”

He could feel Savannah’s intense stare on him, the same look a parent gives their child when they’ve stolen something and have to take it back.

“Okay,” he sighed in defeat, “I might’ve accidentally told some people that you guys were dating. It’s not that big of a deal.”

Michael watched him closely as if he were trying to see if he was joking or not. Once he noticed he wasn't, he began to laugh. Yes, it did scare Cam just a little bit. “How does that even come up?”

Cam doesn’t know why but Michael’s words sent a string of relief through his body. At least one of them wasn’t completely bothered by it. Savannah just glared at him. “Ha ha," she said mockingly, “you know people take stuff like this seriously, even if it is from Cam’s mouth.”

“First of all, ouch,” Cam defended towards her before answering Michael’s question, “Second, these annoying girls kept bothering me about it while I was trying to study. It gets annoying, man.” Kenny nodded in agreement from across him.

For some reason this just made Michael chuckle some more. “Yeah sorry about that,” he smiled, “I seriously don’t get why people are so obsessed with it sometimes.”

"Me either," he hummed and glanced over at Savannah, "but…if you two are dating, just make it official. It'd be easier."

He felt Savannah kick him under the table, causing him to jump up in pain.

“Okay, not funny, my bad,” he surrendered. Michael and Kenny were laughing up a storm while Savannah just smiled in satisfaction.

Alright…how was he going to fix this?

Chapter Text

The brunette Hufflepuff girl watched him with wide eyes as he whispered to her during charms class.

"Savannah’s not a natural blonde."

"No way," she gasped.

"100% true. But don’t tell anyone." He found that when he told them not to tell anyone, it spread even faster. And that’s how the rest of his day went.

"Michael actually doesn’t sleep. I think he’s a vampire.”

"Kenny’s last name is pronounced ‘Howler.’"

"Cam is secretly filthy rich."

"Who’s Cam?" Rude

The rest of the morning played out as normal. Sometimes he’d hear his own rumor be brought back to him, just so much more far-fetched than before, much to his interest. If he just kept on spreading lies, who’s to say the first one wasn’t? In no time people will forget about Michael and Savannah ‘dating.’

The door creaked as he opened it up to his herbology class, making his way to his usual spot and bracing himself. Plants were not his forte.

The sunlight flitted through the glass tiles of the walls and ceilings, making the green houses’ illumination contrast with the dimly lit hallways and making his eyes take a while to adjust. Greenery hung from the ceilings and clung to the walls, Cam going out of his way to avoid it. After the vine grabbed his arm last time, he wasn’t taking any chances.

There was a tiny pink flower in the middle of the desk, and much to his dismay, he didn’t recognize it. He squinted at it, trying to connect it to any of the pictures in his textbook he’d seen before.

Beside him, he heard a quiet giggle. The girl to his left was eyeing him, holding a hand over her mouth to cover her amused smile. He would ask her what was wrong, but he wasn’t sure how to do so.

She beat him to it anyway, pointing at the exotic plant. "That’s so romantic," she smiled.

There was a beat of silence, all in which Cam’s thoughts flowed. Why was it romantic? Was she trying to make a move on him? What the fuck was this plant in front of him?

Instead, all he uttered was, "What?"

She shrugged and said, "Well, you know... since." She pointed in front of him, his gaze following her finger.

Kenny was seated across from him, but he was talking to the person to his left and didn’t seem to notice the two new sets of eyes on him.

"What does that have to do with anything?" He asked, even more confused, turning back to her.

"Oh!" She said, eyes widening, "I’m sorry if I wasn’t supposed to know. I won’t tell anyone." She crossed her fingers and swiftly turned back towards her own desk, suddenly minding her own business.

Just as he was about to question her again, the professor clapped, signaling for their attention.

She spoke and spoke, and Cam didn’t really pay any attention. Her voice was so soft it was hard to even keep his eyes open. It’s usually the same: she talks about a weird plant, Kenny and he partner up, and he explains the assignment to him.

Everyone started bustling around, meaning she dismissed them, and his head immediately shot up towards the boy across from him.

"Wanna be my partner?" He asked. Kenny was actually not bad at herbology (at least, not as bad as him), so he had to get to him before some other person who lacked plant knowledge got to him first.

"Sure," he shrugged, leaning forward across the table to observe the flower closely.

Cam paused for a second, pretending to observe the flower as well, before asking again. "Soo…what is it again?"

He frowned from across from him, and Cam could practically hear the ‘you didn’t pay attention again’ from his thoughts.

"It’s basorexia," he started, but Cam noticed how the tips of the petals started changing from pink to orange ever so slightly. "It changes color based on the emotions around it." He finished.

"What does orange mean?" He asked.

Kenny’s eyes darted back to the book, scanning the key. "Uh, it says orange means…annoyed."

He let it sink in, still looking at the tiny petals of pink with orange accents, before realizing what that meant.

"What wha—"

"Anyways, we just need to get it to show four more colors and we’re good," Kenny interrupted, the orange fading away and leaving it pink once more.

"Okay so we have pink and orange, What else is there?" Cam asked, dismissing his previous thoughts and refocusing on the assignment.

Kenny hummed, running a finger along the different colors in his book. "Well there’s—"

"Aww!" A boy cooed loudly from beside Kenny and into his ear.

"Holy shit!" he jumped, turning towards the guy with a bewildered look. Cam couldn’t help but notice how the whole petal of the flower turned purple for a split second. Fear, he assumed. At least they have three now.

"Uh, hello?" Kenny asked her, raising an eyebrow as if signaling for him to continue.

"I just think it’s adorable that yours is all pink!" He said, pointing at it.

Cam looked around, he just assumed pink was the default, and he was partially right. A lot of other groups’ flowers had patches of pink mixed with reds and yellows.

"So?" Cam asked, now turning to his own textbook and looking at the colors and their meanings. Pink, pink, pink…

Pink = love.

Love? He didn’t think it was that weird. He actually cared for a lot of people, and Kenny happens to be one of them, just in a friendship kind of way. Right?

He thought about it and quickly made up his mind. Yeah, he was definitely straight.

"Well, since you guys are dating and all. I didn’t actually believe it, but now? I don’t know how I didn’t see it sooner," he laughed before walking away, leaving two very shocked boys behind sitting dumbfounded.

"Huh?" Kenny blurted after a beat of silence, and Cam couldn't help but think the same thing. The petals are tinted blue now, leaving very little pink compared to before. Pure confusion.

And Cam watched as it turned from blue to orange (mainly from Kenny's end) while his own faded to purple as he remembered.

Shit, he totally told people he and Kenny were dating. He thought that one was so ridiculous that no way people would believe it. Why was that one so easy to believe and not the one about him being a millionaire?!

"What did you do?" Kenny asked, and it reminded him a little too much of the way Savannah had questioned him the previous day, but he sure sounded a lot less threatening. Instead, perplexity laced his words.

He would ask why he assumed he had anything to do with this, but after the Savannah-Michael situation, that’d be pointless. He quickly shook his head and spoke quickly, "I can totally explain, I promise there is a perfectly good reason as to why people think that."

Kenny watched him expectantly, signaling for him to continue.

"...because I told them," Cam finished slowly as if testing out the waters of Kenny's temper with each word.

Instead, he just watched him in disbelief. He didn't look angry (much to Cam's relief) or annoyed.

"And why would you say that," he asked, tilting his head in confusion. It was kind of amusing. His eyes widened as if he realized something, and he hastily added, "Not that I’m not flattered, you’re a good friend and all, but you know I’m into girls, Cam." He nodded with a look of pity on his face.

Cam furrowed his brows. Now he was confused. Did he think—

"No!" Cam spluttered out, covering his face with one hand out of a mix of embarrassment and frustration, sputtering out, "That’s not why I said it, it’s because of the thing I said about you-know-who." He whispered the last part, ignoring the fact that Kenny was totally fine with the thought of him having a crush on him.

"Oh… why?" He said quietly back, leaning his whole upper body across the table so he could hear him, the flower now mentally disregarded.

He shrugged back and leaned on the table from his stool, mirroring the same hushed tone they’d been using. "I don’t know, I thought if I kept on lying, no one would believe me anymore."

"That is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard," Kenny frowned, his tone now returning to its normal volume as he went to lean back in his seat.

"It worked, though, didn’t it?" Cam countered, thinking back on the rest of the day. As far as he knew, Savannah and Michael were old news.

"Uh, not really," Kenny said blankly, "Now people are just more invested in us than them."

That was…true. Of course, they still think Savannah and Michael are dating, but they didn’t put in the same amount of energy as before, pestering them about it every second. They’re just interested in Kenny and him, and now they’re getting the weird treatment. And actually—

"Oh my gosh," Cam realized, breaking out of his thoughts and looking back at Kenny as if he just had the best idea of his life, "What if we date?"

There was a beat of silence.

"Absolutely not."

"Not actually," Cam added, as if it were the most obvious thing ever, "I mean, it’ll stop Savannah and Michael from being questioned every five seconds and make people more focused on us."

Kenny shook his head sternly. "Nope," he popped the P, crossing his arms, "I don’t want to get dragged into your mess. Again."

He pressed his hands together, making a pleading motion. If he didn’t fix it soon, who knows what kind of punishment Savannah would give him, especially as a prefect. A shiver ran down his spine at the thought.

"Please Kenny, don’t do it for me," he begged. "Do it for Michael. For Savannah. Save them from this curse of the female and male friendship."

That seemed to wear down his wall a little; a look of uncertainty now appeared on his face. Eventually, he sighed, giving in to Cam’s reasoning.

"Fine, but I am not going above and beyond for this," he grumbled.

Cam grinned. "Psh, with me, you won’t have to.”

Chapter 3: lover

Summary:

He could feel Michael's blue eyes staring at him, now very confused. “You and Kenny were just holding hands,” he turned towards Savannah for backup, “I’m not going crazy, am I?”

Chapter Text

The plan worked out a little too well, much to Cam’s surprise. People completely forgot about the thing he said about Michael and Savannah when he and Kenny showed up to breakfast the next day holding hands.

“Is this really necessary,” Kenny questioned as Cam was about to drag him through the door to the great hall, hands intertwined with one another. He had purposely woken up earlier than usual to wait for Kenny (which did end up getting him a few weird looks–because how does a Slytherin manage to make his way into the Hufflepuff common room).

“Dude, trust me, it is,” Cam responded, tugging Kenny along to where they were right in front of the entrance, “This is all we need to do and we’re locked in.” At least he hopes, because he’s not doing anything beyond hand holding. People already think they’re dating, he’s just praying this will just solidify it for any non-believers.

And it was so true, because a couple steps in, Cam could already feel so many pairs of eyes watching them intently. It made him a little nervous, and he’s sure Kenny noticed too because he could feel him begin to walk faster towards their table.

With every step he took he could feel more and more attention on them, suddenly very aware of what they were doing.

So it felt like a weight was lifted off of him as he reached the table where Michael and Savannah already sat, who were also looking at them confused, and finally released Kenny’s hand. Quickly, he slid in, Kenny doing the same and sitting across from him.

There was an awkward silence for a split second, and Cam silently prayed that they would just forget what they saw and talk about something else. He looked around, suddenly finding the chandeliers very interesting.

“Uh,” Michael broke the silence, “What was that? Screw Michael.

Cam pursed his lips and hummed, avoiding eye contact with anyone, “What was what?”

He could feel his blue eyes staring at him, now very confused. “You and Kenny were just holding hands,” he turned towards Savannah for backup, “I’m not going crazy, am I?”

She shook her head, “No, I saw it too. And I heard about it.” Her eyes narrowed skeptically, darting back and forth between Kenny and Cam.

He grabbed his fork and stabbed it into the potatoes in front of him forcefully, trying to block out the intense judgment he felt at the moment.

Michael, who seemed to be very out of the loop, prodded at Savannah even more. “Believe what? Is there some secret deal you’re not telling me about,” he frowned, now feeling left out. “Is it like a bet? Or a—“

“We’re dating,” Kenny interrupted, taking a bite out of the piece of toast in his hand. Cam felt himself choke on air at the casual confession, face reddening at both his words and the fact that air was struggling to reach his lungs.

“What?!” Michael exclaimed, his eyes wide before furrowing his eyebrows. “And no one thought to tell me?”

“Well,” Cam cleared his throat, “In our defense, we haven’t told anyone.”

It wasn’t a complete lie, they haven’t told anyone directly. Of course, rumors just happen to spread.

“I’m not surprised,” Savannah cut in.

Cam nodded along, still not completely processing what she said. “Exactly! I mean we’ve–wait what?”

She shrugged, her expression remaining unchanged. “I’m just saying, you guys always had that weird vibe. And girls talk.”

Girls talk ?! Cam cursed inwardly. He has absolutely no clue what he and Kenny could’ve done to have people expect this.

He wanted to ask her what she meant, but his eyes darted towards Kenny, who continued to chew at his toast and had an eyebrow raised in curiosity. “What the hell does that mean?” He muffled out before adding, “Also, those girls are creeps.”

“Okay,” Michael cut in, his hands up as if trying to pause time, “so let me get this straight. You two are dating and literally everyone knows but me?”

“Yeah,” Cam replied shortly to avoid giving away the secret before jabbing jokingly, “get in the loop man.”

Michael was a smart guy, no way he actually believed they were dating. He was totally going to expose them to the whole school. Cam kind of wished he did at this point.

“Well, congratulations,” he smiled and simultaneously causing all of Cam’s dreams to shatter, before huffing, “but next time something like this happens let me know so I don’t have a heart attack.”

Cam could not actually believe this was working. It’s something he just suggested and, admittedly, quickly regretted, but he didn’t think people would believe it.

“How did this relationship come to be?” Savannah asked and placed her chin on both hands. She held the same smile on her face, making Cam unsure whether she was actually curious or if she was just trying to make him uncomfortable.

Cam hesitated for a second, unsure of how to respond. “That is a great question,” he smiled before gesturing towards the boy in front of him, “and I’m sure Kenny would love to tell you the answer.”

Kenny narrowed his eyes at him, a silent screw you that he totally got the message of and also chose to ignore.

“We uh,” Kenny averted his eyes from their two (very pressing) sets of eyes that Cam was relieved was not on him for once. “It just happened.”

There was a beat of silence that felt so long to Cam, but in reality was only one or two seconds long.

“How romantic,” Savannah said sarcastically before turning away from the situation.

Note to self, never have Kenny cover up for something ever.

Chapter Text

“Do you want to switch with me,” Michael piped from behind him, taking his focus off of the pinkish liquid swirling in between him and Savannah’s table.

He quirked an eyebrow and turned over his shoulder to see Michael. “Uh…why would I want to do that.” He was paired with Savannah , who was arguably one of the best potion makers in the class. Next to Michael. Why in the world would he want to give that up and put the two best together.

Michael just pointed behind him towards Kenny, who was his partner and was also completely oblivious to the conversation at hand. Shit.

“No, I'm okay,” he said quickly and looked away to grab a spoonful of who-knows-what to distract himself. It’s not like he was actually going to use it. He’s sure Kenny wouldn’t appreciate losing Michael either. “We wouldn’t want people thinking you’re together even more.” He finished, thinking back to the whole reason this thing even started. If anything, this was really Michael and Savannah’s fault in the first place.

Michael nodded after a bit, eyes glancing over to Savannah who also seemed to be tuning the conversation out. She was pretty upset about the dating rumors, no need to add more onto it. That’s what he hoped Michael was thinking too.

When he finally turned away and started speaking with Kenny again, Cam turned towards Savannah, who was closely measuring some moonstone dust.

“What are we making again?”

She looked at him out of the corner of her eye, and he could feel the slight judgment from them.

“It’s infanatia,” she responded shortly, only to be met with silence. That didn’t help him at all.

“…it’s a love potion.”

“Ohh,” he realized. Now the pink color made a lot more sense. The tint of it kind of reminded him of the flower from the previous day.

He has heard of love potions before. In their fourth year they were introduced to one that smelled of wood chips and chocolate to him.

“It’s not as strong as the other one,” she added when she saw him trying to smell it, as if she read his mind, “and it doesn’t smell like anything. They wouldn’t let us brew something as powerful as amortentia.”

That made a lot more sense.

He felt slightly relieved to hear that because there were some crazy people out there…some people in the room that he didn’t trust with something like that.

Once she finished sprinkling the dust in, he stirred it counter-clockwise just as the textbook said. It was his favorite part (and the only one Savannah let him do alone). The pinkish liquid absorbed the silver specks of powder, adding a sheen texture to it in the process. It was really pretty compared to a lot of the other potions in the past.

It was quiet as the two continued, Cam following the textbook word by word as Savannah observed. There were a few times where she would add something, but otherwise, the room was filled with the clinks of their spoons and the bubbling of the cauldron.

He couldn't help but sneak a glance or two to the boys behind him. Michael was holding his nose as Kenny stirred a thick, green liquid in their cauldron.

He turned his head fully to get a better view at the abomination. “Why does it look like that,” he couldn’t help but ask, an amused smile on his face as he saw Kenny and Michael struggling.

Savannah turned around at that, her eyes widening when she saw the murky potion swirl slowly in the cauldron. “Are you trying to make a potion to murder?” Her voice was a mix of teasing and genuine concern.

“Murder with love, you mean,” Michael smiled, adding dried rose petals to the slimy concoction. Cam watched as they just simply sunk into it, not making any effort to absorb the liquid around it like theirs did.

“Well, not to brag or anything,” Cam added, gesturing towards his and Savannah’s creation, “but we whipped up this bad boy with ease.”

Kenny looked up from the textbook next to him, his hand stopped stirring as his gaze settled on it. “It’s supposed to look like that?!”

Michael laughed and took the spoon out of his hand, stirring the liquid a few more times. He then held his nose and grabbed the vial next to him, carefully pouring it in. “We’re making another one. A much cooler one might I add.”

They watched expectantly, curious at the sudden shift of mood. As soon as the potion hit the bottom of the vial, the whole concoction turned a vibrant, deep red, and a puff of steam emerged from the top, followed by a sweet aroma.

He stared in awe, blinking to see if his eyes were just playing tricks on him. “What the fuck?!” Cam exclaimed maybe a little too loud because the professor shushed him from across the classroom. But seriously, how is that even possible?

“So that's what we were making,” Kenny said surprised, looking into the vial as the liquid swirled around in there.

Savannah rolled her eyes. “That is so not fair.” Cam could tell she wasn’t being genuine, but her competitiveness probably won’t allow her to be too impressed.

“Oh but it is,” Michael hummed with a smug smile on his face, “they said brew a love potion, not which one.”

“It’s common sense that it’s the one we just learned yesterday,” she pointed before turning back to their own cauldron, “whatever, ours is still prettier.”

That was an arguable point, Cam thought as he saw the crimson liquid swirl around in the vial while Michael capped it closed, labeling it with the tiny piece of paper they received. It looked nothing like the green potion still brewing in their cauldron.

He didn’t care which one was cooler, though. As long as he’s getting an A, he’ll make whatever he has to. And their potion definitely looked like an A.

Their own vial was empty and discarded on the side, though. Gently, he grabbed it, and seemingly thinking the same thing, Savannah took the ladle once again and got a scoop of the potion. She poured it cautiously, making sure not to let a single drop spill out. A part of him was hoping for a cool puff of smoke too, but it never came.

It was very beautiful nonetheless. He could still see the remaining sparkle from the moonstone and the hue from the rose petals.

“So, I can’t drink this,” he asked, the potion reminding him of a sort of tropical drink.

She shook her head. “Don’t even think about it.” It laid on the table as she set it down, putting the label on it.

“You’re telling me you wouldn’t want to drink this right now?” Of course, he wasn’t actually going to do it, but no way she wasn’t tempted too.

“No, because unlike some people, I don’t want to start drooling over anyone within a ten-foot radius,” she rolled her eyes.

The bell suddenly rang out before he could respond to the obvious jab at him. He could feel the classroom move at once as everyone began bustling around, the sounds of clinking glass and scraping cauldrons filling the air.

He grabbed his own, making sure to spill every drop of the remaining potion down the sink. It hurt, seeing all of the hard work go down the drain (literally), but he also would rather not give anyone easy access to a love potion. The things people can do with that is…frightening to say the least. He glanced next to him to see Kenny doing the same on the other sink. As the liquid sloshed in the sink, it did the same thing it did before, turning a bright red color as it made impact with the surface.

“How does it do that,” he asked, genuinely confused. He was still feeling the shock he initially felt when he saw the process, because since when could potions do that?!

Kenny looked up at him and shrugged, letting the last bit of liquid drip out slowly. “I'm still not sure…Michael mentioned particles expanding or something like that. It’s not that powerful though, it’s mainly for discretion.”

Cam thought back to how it looked before, and wrinkled his nose at the thought. “If by discretion you mean people not wanting to drink it—goal achieved.”

He laughed, pulling the cauldron straight up again and pulled out his wand swiftly, using it to dry the inside. “More like spiking people’s drinks and shit. Whoever invented this is seriously fucked up.”

Spiking? It does make it a bit convenient, but Cam doesn’t see why it’s necessary. The only reason they learn about it in school is so they can avoid it…doesn’t that defeat the whole purpose all together?

Cam just nodded in agreement.

Notes:

I’m just kinda writing this as I go, if you guys wanna see anything lmk lol, thanks for reading <3
