Chapter Text
Broken Glass. Spilled Wine. Wet tears. Broken heart. Fires in the street. Pain.
Aziraphale in Heaven.
Crowley alone on Earth.
"Shit." Crowley spilled wine on the floor of his Bentley.
Ever since Aziraphale had turned his back on Crowley, and left him and the bookshop, Crowley had been spending a vast majority of his time laying in his Bentley, drinking concerning, yet extraordinary amounts of alcohol.
When he wasn't in the Bentley, however, he was wreaking havoc all across the world. Starting fires out of the blue, burning buildings down, breaking store windows, and overall, just causing humans to hate each other more than they already do.
He got out of his car and slammed the door.
"Right, well then, off we- I go."
Crowley had often forgotten that he was alone in the universe. He had no one by his side, like he did in the past.
Aziraphale had been gone for a total of two weeks, but Crowley would still forget that he wasn't in his bookshop as usual, so he would show up there about twice a week, remember that Aziraphale was gone, and get back into the Bentley and cry for a few hours, before resuming life.
"What should I do first...?" Crowley raised one of his eyebrows and thought for a moment before rubbing his hands together, and soon enough, fire was flaming out of his hands.
He lit a few local shops on fire, and tempted the humans into believing that it was other humans who had harmed their shops.
Now, make no mistake, Crowley wasn't necessarily doing this because he wanted to, he was mostly doing it in hopes that Aziraphale would notice something was up, but, if Crowley was being honest, he did slightly enjoy it, because it helped him express his pain.
As weeks went on, Crowley's anger and pain got worse, and they never seemed to leave him alone, for even a split second.
The process was the same. Wreak havoc, go to Aziraphale's shop, cry, wreak havoc, go to Aziraphale's shop, cry. Over and over and over and over and over and over and over.
Everything felt painful. All Crowley felt was pain. That's all he had felt for weeks. He'd have moments when he wasn't as sad, but the pain he felt never stopped permanently. If he was being completely truthful, he had never felt this much pain before. Not even when he fell.
He hurt.
And it wasn't going to stop.
