Work Text:

Wilson lands steadily and straightens up, shaking out his arms a little.  He walks towards Vanta and slaps him on the back.  “Not bad, ex-tyrant!”

Vanta chuckles lightheartedly, smiling at Wilson. “Thank Yu.” he responds, making the pun obvious. Wilson simply rolls his eyes. The two have finished their patrol for the day, with the only action being a meeting of rival gangs that they just sent packing.

“Let’s head back. Also,” The hitman motions for Vanta to lean down a bit. “I sensed something again today. Should we take a different route?”

Vanta nods, expression falling into his resting bitch face, showing his concern. (Let’s be honest, it's a mean face for such a sunny person.) “Yeah. Follow me.”

With that, Vanta sets off at a brisk pace, heading back towards their patrol path. Wilson taps his shoes to activate his skates and follows after his teammate. The two follow their patrol route for a while, then deviate onto a rooftop shortcut. As Wilson pulls himself over the railing, he feels that familiar shiver once more. He turns around wildly, hand twitching as he reaches for his gun. Behind him, Vanta turns as well, scouring the area for any sign of a person. After a long moment, Wilson sighs. “Nothing.”

“Not nothing.” Vanta corrects. “Just no one.”  He places his arm on his teammates shoulder, comforting him just a little. “I think it’s time we tell Vezalius.”

《♤♡◇♧》

“Someone’s been following you?”  Vezalius hums and leans back in his swivel chair. Wilson opens a package of pretzels and begins eating those. Vanta nods, running his hands over each other. “We don’t know for sure. But we’ve been getting an uneasy feeling everytime we’re out.”

Zali hums, tapping a finger to his chin. “Might just be your anxiety. You guys have been patrolling for a week and a half straight after all.”

Wilson’s eyes widened at that, the statement shocking. “Oh wow, I didn’t even notice…”

Zali chuckles. “Guess it’s time for you two to take a bit of a rest, yeah? I’ll talk to management about giving us some days off to relax.”

Vanta nods. “Great, I’ve been wanting to hang out with Vox Senpai sometime soon.”

Wilson points at him, nodding along. “And I want to make up for the cancelled hangout plans to Mr. Eveland!”

"You still call him that?"

"You still call everyone senpai!"

The two begin talking and bickering excitedly about making plans with their senpais in Nijisanji, almost forgetting about Zali. The medic’s eyes narrow slightly before a slightly forced chuckle makes its way from his lips. “How about the three of us head over to Luxiem’s house tomorrow to hang out with them? Then the day after that, it can just be us three relaxing together.”

Vanta grins, his eyes sparkling. “Sounds great! I'll text them."

Zali takes a deep breath, trying to push back his dark thoughts. "Alrighty then. Now get out of my base unless you are actually hurt."

《♤♡◇♧》

The hangout started off well, in Vanta's opinion at least. The three heroes arrived at Luxiem's house and made themselves at home, conversing casually with their senpais. But as the afternoon turned to evening and alcohol was brought out, things got a little more heated.

Vox was tipsy and therefore more bold in his flirting. But that wasn't what Vanta was uneasy about. No, it was Zali's reaction that unnerved him.

"Heard Hex wanted you three to call him Daddy, any chance that applies to me as well?" Vox's deep voice slid into Vanta's ears, causing his slight flush to deepen. "Ah- I'm.."

Vanta stutters over himself, resisting the urge to cover his face. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Vezalius move closer to them. The ex-tyrant shivers, a dangerous aura becoming stronger. Vox seems to notice it too, as he straightens up and looks around the room.

Zali took this opportunity to slide right next to Vanta. "Hey. You'd tell him off if he was making you uncomfortable, right?"

Vanta shivers at Zali’s expression. It’s chillingly calm and concerned. Too unnerved to speak, he simply nods. Zali smiles and it’s normal, warm. Vanta relaxes and smiles back.

Soon enough, the party begins winding down as people tap out. Krisis exits the house with a wave and a promise to visit soon. The heroes stroll through the streets, laughing and joking with each other about the night’s shenanigans. Vanta almost forgets about Zali’s strange aura.

His concern is brought to the forefront of his mind when a young couple walks into them. The man has sharp and focused eyes, glaring at them as he pulls his partner closer to him. “Excuse you.”

Vanta opens his mouth to wave it off, but then he catches sight of the woman’s expression. It’s slightly fearful and he can see her trying to subtly get her arm out of the man's grasp. Before he can move, Wilson has already stepped forward to take action.

“Excuse us? You bumped into us.” Wilson’s tone is snappy, completely different from the jokingly egotistical hitman Vanta knows. The tyrant's eyes flicker down, catching sight of how Wilson’s hand has curled around the woman’s arm. He moves closer to the two, ready to provide backup.

“Besides, what are you doing that requires you to move so fast? You’re literally dragging your poor girlfriend around.” The stranger frowns angrily, stepping towards Wilson. “What’s it to you, getting in my business? How about you leave others alone, huh?”

Wilson stands his ground, face impassive. “I’m a hero, for your information. If I see someone in distress, it’s my duty to save them.”

The guy growls in anger. "You know what? Whatever! Wasn't even that good of a fuck anyways.."

He stomps off, grumbling to himself. Zali follows him with a calculated gaze. "I'll send a call to the police about him. He seems to be an abuser."

Wilson releases his hold on the woman and lets his concern show. " Was that guy an abuser? He said you weren't a good fuck, did he-" Wilson cuts himself off, scared to say it. Fortunately the woman spares him.

"No, that's my ex. I made a few stupid choices, broke up with him, and then another stupid choice." She sighs and looks at her feet. "I've learned my lesson though."

Wilson sighs in relief. The woman suddenly looks up, right at him. "Did you mean it when you said you were a hero?"

Wilson nodded sheepishly. "Keep it hush, yeah? We can't have everyone knowing who we are."

The woman grabs her head and groans. "UGGHH. I am so sorry for dragging you into my mess. You really didn't have to do that, I could've handled it."

Wilson holds his hands up, a nervous expression taking over his face. “W-well, it’s kind of my job….”

The girl shakes her head. “Lots of people don’t do their jobs.” She meets his eyes again, determined. “Let me make it up to you. Dinner. As a thank you for saving me and in hopes I can learn more about you.”

Vanta whistles slowly, shocked at her bold approach. “Damn.” he whispers.

Wilson seems just as shocked. “Well- I- um…” He steps back slightly and rubs the back of his head. “You know what? Sure. Not every day you get a cute girl asking you to dinner, hehe.”

The woman’s face brightens up immediately. “Perfect! My name is Aliyah! Let's exchange numbers to coordinate this easier.”

Wilson pulls out his phone, ready to enter Aliyah's contact info. Vanta turns to whisper something in Vezalius's ear but pauses at the terrifyingly dark look the medic has. His eyes are narrowed, glaring at Aliyah as she smiles at something Wilson said. His mouth is set in a tight line and Vanta watches as Zali brings a hand up to unravel a few bandages around his opposite wrist.

Vanta hesitates, then reaches his own hand up to gently grab Zali's. Immediately, the man turns that chilling gaze towards Vanta. Despite his title as a tyrant, Vanta still flinches at his teammates' expressions. "Zali… are you okay?"

Vezalius stays completely still for a moment. Then, "I don't like how easily that woman rebounded on Wilson."

Vanta rubs his thumb over the medics hand. "You mean how she immediately latched onto Wilson, despite the other guy abusing her?"

Zali nods, his expression unchanging. "I don't want Wilson going on that date."

Vanta turns to look at Wilson and Aliyah. The two have long since moved on from exchanging numbers and are now talking about something else entirely. He sighs. "Wilson is a hero. And a former hitman. He can take care of himself-"

"When it's a fight. But this isn't a fight. This is his love life, he could easily be manipulated by her." Zali cuts him off with a very solid point. Vanta shuts his mouth with a complentative hum. Vezalius turns his gaze to the two as well. "He'd easily fall into a trap like that."

Vanta sighs. "Listen. Let's let this one date go. We can investigate her further after that. And if she has a messy track record, then we tell Wilson and he'll stop before anything can happen between the two." Vanta brings his other hand to hold Zali's as well, bringing the man's attention back to him. He smiles softly at his medic. "Sounds good?"

Vezalius lets out a deep breath and nods. A warm smile appears on his face. "Yes. Thank you, Vanta."

《♤♡◇♧》

Wilson tugs his sweater as he looks himself up and down in the mirror. His outfit was this: Black sneakers with orange and yellow accents, white cargo pants, with some belts and buckles as accessories, a slightly cropped t-shirt with a yellow sun on it and a black and yellow jacket. To complete the look, he has on orange tinted glasses, which were placed fashionably on his hair.

Wilson tugs at his sweater again, getting nervous. Him and Aliyah were going out for dinner today and he was getting ready. Now why was he nervous? Well, when he asked her what to wear, her response was "Dress casual! This might be a date, but it doesn't mean you have to go all out with your hero influence haha"

Wilson swallows, watching his throat bob as he did. A date! Aliyah had called it a date ! After reading that, Wilson had immediately called Zali and Vanta, freaking out about the implications. 4 days later, here he was, still freaking out. Wilson frowns and claps his hands to his cheeks.

"C'mon man.. you know you're not really interested in her… stop being all nervous!" He groans and reaches over to grab his phone. The time reads 4:46pm, meaning he needs to leave now to make it over in time. With that, he quickly leaves his house and heads to the date site.

《♤♡◇♧》

It's been 25 minutes since Wilson arrived at the meetup spot. 20 minutes since Aliyah was supposed to be here for the date. Wilson is sitting on a bench, pulling at his hoodie once more. He didn't get set up… did he?

Wilson bites at his lip, thinking over if he did anything to upset Aliyah. Was it because he was so awkward? He always was like that, wasn't he? Awkward and cocky, a horrible mix. How did anyone even stand him? Hell, he couldn't stand himself. Why did he think he was going to get a date anyways, no one cares for his awkward, bumbling ass in that way-

Wilson's rapidly spiraling thoughts are halted as he feels wet drops land on his skin. He reaches up to face, realizing tears were beginning to fall. He chuckles brokenly, his head falling into his hands. "Haha.. of course I'm crying over something simple like this… Of course.."

"Wilson?" The hitmans head shot up at his name. A ways in front of him were none other than Uki Violeta and Fulgur Ovid. The psychic quickly hurries over to give the hitman a hug. “Hey, hey, what’s wrong sweetie?”

Wilson sniffles and leans into the hug. “..got stood up..”

Behind Uki, Fulgur sucks his teeth in annoyance. “They don’t deserve you, Wilson.” He sits on Wilson’s left side, patting his shoulder. Wilson sniffs again, wiping at his eyes.

Uki pats the hitman again. “Do you want to go home?” Wilson thought it over briefly. Sitting at home, no one with him, only his thoughts… He shakes his head.

Wilson.. wants to be with his teammates. His friends. Vanta and Zali. He wants to go hang out with them, laugh and relax with them. The hitman smiles slightly to himself at just the thought of his friends.

Uki shares a knowing look with Fulgur and reaches to hold his hand as they watch Wilson smile to himself. Fulgur taps the hero’s shoulder, waiting for him to meet his eyes. “Do you want to head to one of your teammates' homes?”

Wilson nods. “Zali’s office… he’s always working late there. Vanta and I sometimes stop in around this time."

“Then that’s where we’ll go.” Uki stands up, offering his free hand to Wilson. Wilson sniffles one last time and takes it. With a flash of purple, the three disappear.

A brief moment later, they reappear in Vezalius’s office. Wilson giggles slightly as he hears Vanta shriek and a thud as he falls out of his chair. The ex-hitman looks ahead to see Zali with his bandages at the ready, whether it’s to heal or to hurt.

Wilson raises a hand. “Hey. Sorry for dropping in so suddenly.”

Vanta groans from his spot on the floor. “You good homie? Your eyes are red.”

“He got stood up by his date.” Uki speaks up from behind Wilson, the psychic's hand squeezing his own gently.

Vezalius scoffs in annoyance before moving over to Wilson. He pulls him into a hug, resting his head on his teammates. Wilson releases Uki’s hand and wraps his own arms around Zali, pushing down tears once more.

“You two take care of him. I don’t care if you’re heroes, I will beat your asses if you make Wilson feel worse.” Uki narrows his eyes, glancing between Vezalius and Vanta, who is only just now standing up.

“Yessir…” Vanta offers a sheepish grin. “Thanks for bringing him here.”

Fulgur waves it off, wrapping an arm around his husband. “No trouble at all. We’d best hand the comforting off to you two though.”

With that, Psyborg teleports out of the room. Zali brings Wilson down to the floor, still embracing him. Vanta sits right by them, reaching over to rub Wilson’s shoulder. “Do you want to talk about it?”

Wilson sighs. “What is there to talk about? Aliyah never showed and didn’t answer any of my texts or messages.”

Vanta meets Zali’s eyes, already knowing what the medic is thinking. “Zali and I did have a bad feeling about her. She moved onto you very quickly after that toxic relationship. We planned to let this one date go and then look into her.”

Zali jumps in, cupping a hand to Wilson’s head. “We just want to keep you safe, Wilson. That girl was bad news. I’m really relieved that she didn’t show up to try anything. Otherwise..” The hug tightening around Wilson told him more than words would.

Wilson leans more into the hug, unease at his friend's words rising. Zali’s tone was comforting, but the hitman could hear the rise of anger in his voice. He knew the anger wasn’t directed at him, but he shivered anyway. Vezalius was scary when he was angry.

Vanta leaned lightly on Wilson’s shoulder. “It’s okay. Everyone gets stood up once in a while. Remember my disaster of a date a few months ago?” Wilson frowns, remembering how pissed they all were when Vanta told them about what happened. His date had ordered food before excusing themselves to the bathroom and never came back, leaving Vanta to pay for the bill. “I bet even Zali, with all of his french rizz, gets stood up.”

Zali laughs, his eyes crinkling up as he looks at Vanta. “French rizz?”

Vanta grins. “Yeaahh, you can rizz people up in french, who doesn’t want that?”

"Well what if I don't want to rizz anyone up?" Vezalius's eyes now have a bit of mischief in them. "I have the people I want right here, after all."

Wilson freezes, the words rotating in his head. Then,

"assjdkdbrjfbffjsjs-" The sound of Vanta dying allows Wilson to fully process what Zali said. The ex-hitman's face flushes and he lets out a soft gasp at the confession. He takes a moment to speak, his voice teasing. “Vezalius… I didn’t know you were into us…”

“More than you could ever know.” Zali chuckles, finally loosening his hold around Wilson. Wilson squeaks and chooses to instantly cover his face. Vanta lets out a drawn out “TSKR~” from his place on the floor.

Wilson giggles, rubbing at his eyes. He feels a lot better now. “I’m really glad to have you guys as my teammates.” The ex-hitman smiles at them, not catching the way Vezalius’s expression falls in disappointment ever so slightly. Vanta sits up and gasps dramatically.

“Damn, he just confessed and you teammate zoned him?” The tyrant shakes his head. “Shame on you, Wilson..”

Wilson tilts his head, confused. “Wait… you meant that?”

“You thought I was joking?” Zali reaches out and covers Wilson’s hand with his own. Wilson shivers again. “W-well, I get being into Vanta but like, we’re homies, haha.. I don’t know why you would want to date me…”

Vanta is suddenly hugging Wilson, their heads knocking against each other gently. “Wilson, you are a wonderful, amazing person and I don’t see how anyone would want to not date you.”

“If you don’t mind me saying something selfish..” Vezalius cups Wilson’s cheek and raises his head so their eyes meet. The medic’s grip is suddenly tightening around Wilson’s chin, his soft smile contrasting his strength. He leans close to Wilson’s ear, eyes glancing up to now meet Vanta’s behind the ex-hitman. “ I don’t mind having both of you all to myself.

《♤♡◇♧》

Vezalius hums, in a good mood. He had a lot of patients to take care of today, but nothing too serious. But that was not why he was happy. No, he was excited because after a lot of planning he finally had a way to make sure everyone stayed away from what is his

Following Wilson’s failed date (and thank god it failed) and Zali’s confession, the three had talked about dating. Despite Wilson’s homie zoning, he was still very much up for dating both Vezalius and Vanta. Following that clarification, they discussed if their new relationship would affect the other aspects of their lives. So, they agreed to a test period of one week, to see how things went and bring up any issues that would occur in that week.

That test period ended two weeks ago. Now, the three were happily dating with no almost no complications! Of course, Wilson and Vanta still argue but it endswith the two laughing it off more times than none. As for their hero work, they work better than ever. If Krisis was able to read each other's minds before, now they were sharing a mind.

There was just one issue. People still go after his boyfriends. And Vezalius wasn’t talking about the many, many fans they have. He knows they don’t stand a chance with his boyfriends. The culprits, oddly enough, are his own senpais.

Zali opens the door to his office, making sure to lock it behind him. He unlocks up his computer, the screen turning on to reveal several tabs of research on psychics, specifically on how to deal with them. This was because a certain purple psychic was getting a bit too cozy with Vanta.

Of course, Uki is a reasonable person and a simple conversation regarding boundaries would do the job. But Zali knew that the psychic also couldn't resist if someone flirted first. And that was what’s happening. Vanta would make a flirty comment, as he does, and Uki couldn’t help but return it. Vezalius was fine with the flirting until the day Uki decided to take things too far and touch Vanta. And not only did he touch, he kissed Vanta’s neck. The neck Zali spent time, every week, to mark up and claim as his.

Vezalius growls, getting upset just thinking about it. He forces himself to take a deep breath, attempting to calm down. He has everything he needs. Uki is coming over in a few minutes, under the ruse that Zali wants to take a look at his star-touched eye. While this isn’t a falsehood, it’s not the full truth either. And just in case things got heated, Vezalius had special bandages that could nullify powers of the mind.

The medic exhales, feeling secure in his plan. A knock at the door causes him to quickly close out the window of research on his computer. With that, he was ready. “Come in!”

Uki pushes the door open, a small smile immediately appearing on his face as he does. “Hey Vezalius.”

“Hello Uki-Senpai!” Zali greets his senior with a returned smile. He waves a hand towards a chair by the back wall. “Please take a seat right over there.”

Uki sits in the indicated chair, one leg folded over the other in a very stylish manner. “So,” he begins softly. “Come and take a look, doc.”

Zali chuckles lightheartedly and moves over to the psychic. He pulls out a flashlight and shines it in Uki’s eyes, checking the pupil's reaction. He leans in to look at Uki’s star-touched eye. The iris had small silver stars floating around in the pink and there was a slight bit of film covering it.

“Uki-Senpai, are you partially blind by any chance?” Uki blinked, brows furrowing for a moment. Finally,

“Kind of. The eye that the star fell into now has a sort of magic sense. Seeing normally is a bit different, but I can sense magical energy and the like. So it’s an upgrade in my mind.”

Vezalius hums. “Well, could you help with one other thing?”

Uki nods, flashing a warm but small smile at the medic. “Sure, just tell me what I need to do.”

“Can you sense the magical energy of these bandages here? I’m trying something new for restraining villains.” Vezalius opens a drawer and pulls out a set of thick, durable bandages that look the same as any other bandages Zali has. However, these are the mental resistant bandages. Zali watches with interest as Uki stares long and hard at the bandages, attempting to sense any sort of magic residue. Finally he sighs and waves a hand. “Nothing.”

Vezalius grins. “Perfect.” With a quick motion, he whips the bandages around the chair, successfully imprisoning Uki in it. Uki jumps, startled by the sudden movement. He begins struggling against the restraints, to no avail.

“I’d like to get straight to the point without either of us spending much time or energy.” Zali sits in his own chair and stares directly at Uki, his gaze unflinching. “So you’re going to keep quiet, stop struggling, and listen to what I have to say.”

Something in his voice must have told Uki that he means business and the psychic obeyed immediately. Zali smirks ever so slightly. “Well then. Here is why I have you restrained.”

“You’re getting too close to Vanta. I had no problem with the flirty remarks, but touching him?  Kissing his neck? The neck that is mine to claim? ” Zali stands up, moving so he is eye to eye with Uki. “I don’t think so.”

“So here is what will happen.”  Zali straightens up, a friendly smile on his face. ”You may remain friends with Vanta. Flirty remarks and all. But! If I find you touching anything on my boyfriend's body?” Zali leans back in, his smile stretching into something deranged. He giggles slightly when he catches Uki shivering. "Well, you want your dearest Fulgur to not worry, yes?"

Uki gasps, the mention of his husband being enough to get him to talk. “Don’t you fucking dare bring FuuFuu-Chan into this conversation.” His eye glows, a clear sign of him attempting to use his powers, Unfortunately for him, nothing happens. “Wha-”

“Seems those work well enough.” Zali taps a finger against the bandages. “These are mental blocking bandages. Perfect for psychics like yourself. Thanks for testing them for me~”

Uki growls and begins squirming in his restraints, to no avail. “What the fuck is your problem, Vezalius?”

“I already told you! It’s you touching what’s mine!” Vezalius laughs, his eyes crazed. “And it’s not just you, no, anyone and everyone who dares to touch my loves from will face these consequences. So I suggest you keep an eye on that thief of your group. He might end up in a similar situation to you if he doesn’t back the fuck off from Wilson.”

Uki glares. “You didn’t need to go this far. Did you have a hand in Wilson getting set up too?”

Zali frowns. “That woman was bad news. I simply gave her a free ticket out of town before her life crumbled.”

Uki shakes his head, appalled. “All to keep Vanta and Wilson to yourself? I can’t believe that you are a hero.”

Zali stills, his face impassive. Then, with a cruel grin,  “Who said I am a hero?”

He giggles, sounding deranged. “A hero of ASH? You think that we, that I, agreed to this title?” Vezalius is fully laughing now, leaning closer to Uki’s face.

“No. We didn’t have a choice.” The medic whispers this, now nose to nose with Uki. “ASH had me join Krisis first. I scouted out Vanta and Wilson because I knew, from the moment I saw them, that we’d be a perfect team.”

Zali’s face falls suddenly. “I said the same about my sister and I. Then…” He stills, reminiscing in the past. Uki griminces, remembering about Zali’s past. “So that’s why? You had one person you love die and chose to make sure no one else you loved would die as well?”

“Not just that.” Vezalius sits down on the floor, gazing blankly at Uki’s face. “I refuse to let anyone else I love even have a chance of leaving me.”

“I.. I understand.” Uki whispers this, something similar to defeat settling in his tone. Vezalius smiles. “Good. But I still need to make sure you know the consequences of touching what's mine.”

With that, Zali whips out a knife. Uki’s eyes widen at the sight of it before narrowing in a futile attempt to use his powers. “Consider this a little warning.”

With that, Zali grabs Uki’s hand and cuts cleanly across the fingertips. Uki shrieks in pain, thrashing as blood begins flowing from his hand. Zali is undeterred and makes another quick slash down the middle of the palm before dropping that hand and grabbing the other. He does the same to this hand, uncaring of the blood spilling onto his clothes and own hands. Uki lets out a sob, tears falling from his eyes at the pain. “Wha- What the fuck is wrong with you..?”

“Here’s what you will do. You’re going to head back home and make up an excuse to your boyfriend as to why your hands are bleeding. Then, he’s going to take you to me and I will heal your hands to the best of my ability. The most you will get are some light scars.” Zali ignores the question and walks over to his sink to wash his hands and the knife. “Understand?”

Uki opens his mouth, wincing as he does. “Why…. you didn’t need to go this far…”

Zali shakes his head. “Because I needed to make sure you understood what would happen if you didn't listen. You can't blame me, you'd do the same for Fulgur."

Uki lets out a long hiss, both from the pain and because Vezalius was right. He would go that far for Fulgur. His Fulgur. The psychic closes his eyes and nods. "I'll do it. And I'll make sure Alban backs off of Wilson."

Zali smiles, a normal one this time. "Good."

《♤♡◇♧》

"UKI!!"

The psychic wakes to Fulgur screaming his name. He slowly blinks his eyes open, looking at his boyfriends beautiful but blurred face. He smiles and brings his hands up to cup his face. Fulgur gasps, looking close to tears. "Uki- your hands…"

Uki tries to focus on his hands, noticing red paint on them. He blinks, vision swimming in and out. Finally, his gaze sharpens and he realizes that it isn't paint on his hands. It's blood.

"Uki… what happened?" Fulgur gently grabs his hands, his eyes wide with fear. "How?"

Uki opens his mouth only for nothing to come out. He remembers stumbling home, barely opening the door to the house before collapsing on the couch. But before that…

The psychic strains his mind before gasping quietly as the memories flood back. He can’t tell Fulgur what happened. If he says Vezalius hurt him, Fulgur will want an explanation from the medic or to hurt him back. And then Zali would hurt their family more….

Uki’s eyes welled up with tears, realizing that he had no choice but to lie to his husband. He met Fulgur’s concerned eyes, tears now overflowing. The psychic closes his mouth.

Fulgur stares at him. “Uki? What happened? Uki-ki? Tell me what happened!”

Uki shakes his head. Fulgur gapes, having no idea what to do. “Why won’t you tell me, Uki?”

“It’s not worth the pain.” Uki manages to whisper this before closing his eyes.

“Uki? Hey, don’t go passing out! Uki? UKI!”

《♤♡◇♧》

“...shouldn’t take long.” A voice weaves it’s way into Uki’s consciousness. He blinks his eyes open once more, realizing he is being carried bridal style in Fulgur's arms. He giggles at the thought, remembering that Fulgur actually did bridal carry him after their wedding. Uki continues giggling, even as Fulgur gasps and looks down at him.

"Uki-ki, you're awake!" The cyborg plants a kiss on his husbands forehead, causing him to giggle even more. “Fuu-Fuu Chan…”

“Hey Uki-ki. I’ve brought you to Zali, he’s gonna heal you up, okay?” Fulgur’s voice is so gentle and caring, Uki nearly skips over what he said.

“Vezalius…?” Uki’s heart drops as he remembers his and Vezalius’s interaction, just a handful of hours before. The psychic’s eyes widen and he turns to look at the medic with a fearful expression. He smiles warmly, but that only unnerves Uki more. He burrows into Fulgur’s arms as Zali takes a step towards them.

“Uki?” Fulgur’s eyes are concerned and sweet. “Zali’s just going to heal you.”

“Yes, that’s all. No need to be afraid of a medic, right? Vezalius’s smile grows, telling Uki all he needs to know. He exhales slowly before holding out both of his hands. “Just a little spooked still…”

Vezalius chuckles, holding his hand gently as he begins cleaning the wounds. “Well, no need to be afraid. I’m a hero, after all.”

《♤♡◇♧》

“Hey Vanta.” Wilson is laying on his back in bed, staring at the ceiling. “Do you ever wonder what happened to the person who kept following us?”

Vanta furrows his brows, meeting Wilson’s eyes from his seat on the end of the bed. “Uh.. I kinda forgot about them.”

Wilson giggles. “Maybe you scared them off.”

“What? They got scared because I started dating you?” Vanta falls back onto the bed, a warm smile decorating his face.

“Mmm…” Wilson taps his chin. “Actually, it’s more likely they were scared off by Zali. Cause he rarely goes out on the field, yknow?”

“It is always the quiet ones.” Vanta leans in close to Wilson, planting a kiss on his nose. Wilson giggles, eyes fluttering shut.

“Kissing in bed? Without me?” Zali chooses this time to walk in, sitting on the bed in between the two. Vanta laughs and leans in to give his other boyfriend a kiss as well.

“Come to think of it, we’ve never seen Vezalius mad.” Wilson blinks at Zali, tilting his head slightly. “I feel like that would scare people.”

“Oooh, yeah! Maybe Zali scared the stalker off with his… bondage abilities?” Vanta grins, looking proud of himself. Zali laughs, shaking his head.

“Maybe I did…” He smiles. Maybe one day he’ll tell his boyfriends about the extent he went to keep them with him. But for now, he will enjoy cuddling with his two beautiful boyfriends.
