Work Text:
Probably, bedding a fellow Councilor was a bad idea in the first place. Having fresh-face, wide-eyed Jayce Talis on the Council was another.
She thought she could mold him into something beautiful and useful and enjoyable; things were looking up well. Then she woke up alone.
He did came back with an apology, all sorry, both for leaving her and because of why he left her and still unaware that his very apology is yet another blunder (this guy is more important than you; please comfort me?)
Jayce Talis is too damn honest. And trusting. It’s both refreshing and burdening.
